We had a freeze-related water pipe failure in our basement in late January, while half way around the world in Asia. Statewide was terrific; they worked closely with us and our insurance company and helped to make the entire process smooth and seamless. And the finished restoration work came out beautifully thanks to David and his professional team. And, they always respected us and our property. You can't go wrong with Statewide. I hired statewide after my house fire. They were most definitely the best choice. Not only did they do outstanding work. They bent over backwards to get me back in my house. They were honest from the very beginning. If they told you they could do something they did it and were up front on the cost. Update on my experience with Statewide Restoration: I left a message with Rollin Durden (President and part owner) over a week ago and he never returned my call. When I called and spoke with him today I was immediately met with attitude (we've never spoken before). I wanted to ask him if he was aware of everything going on at the house that they are working on, you know, the one my family and I live in. He responded to my concerns by condescendingly telling me that I was confused about the fact that it wasn't my house, that I'm just a renter. So I guess I'll warn people out there that, when it comes to this company, they'll speak to you however they want and do anything they want where you live if you're not the owner. read more

Had significant water damage to our house due to a leak in a pipe. Statewide responded quickly and expertly, identified what was needing repairs and replacement (floor underlayment, wall sheet rock, mold removal, new paint and new carpet) and handled arrangements with our insurance. What started out as a leaky water line turned out to be a major plumbing problem that had been going on for years, requiring a full remodel of 3 rooms; down to the studs and even replacement of some subflooring! Thankfully, Statewide Restoration was referred to us by our insurance company. With no building/construction background we had no idea where to even start. Statewide provided guidance and offered multiple options at every step of the way, even making appointments for us to meet with experts in a number of fields (custom cabinets, tile, countertops, flooring, paint etc) ensuring that the finished remodel would be perfect for our family. While we dealt mostly with Bruce Riley, who frequently contacted us and came by to check on the progress and professionalism of those performing the work at our home, both Bruce Riley and Rolllin Durden were always available to answer our questions. Their decades of experience were invaluable restoring our Mid-Century home. read more

Stay away from this business! They are awful! The site manager/part owner, Bruce Riley, is very unprofessional. His inability to answer questions and his tendency to make rude and condescending comments makes the experience even more unpleasant. You may get two hours of real work a day from the employees. They will tell you the plan for the next day which almost never holds up, but they never notify you when plans change. I have to go out in my yard every day to collect cigarette butts left by the workers. At the end of the day, grout mixes are rinsed from the buckets and splashed on the side of our house. It's as if they are purposely sending a message that they do not care. read more

Statewide took care of everything after a tree fell on my roof. They are very professional! Don and Mike were great in repairing the ceiling and repaint, Tim and Toby have done a beautiful job on the flooring. All the roofers were good workers and they cleaned up after themselves. Communication from the Operations Manager (Josh) and the owner (Ron) was extremely poor. Phone calls were not returned for weeks at a time. The first installer performed substandard work, requiring a second installer to remove and redo the entire job. The second installer (Jonivan) arrived late on both days and made multiple trips back to the shop for forgotten materials. A project estimated to take 8-10 hours ultimately took months and two installers. I was told by the salesperson that a licensed plumber would perform all plumbing work. The plumbing was completed by an unlicensed individual, which I did not discover until after installation. Given these issues, I have serious concerns about the company's ability to honor warranty obligations. I have rated this business 1 star and cannot recommend them.
