I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally decided to make the drive and it did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a staff member who was very welcoming. We ordered an arepa with shredded beef, yoyos with grilled chicken, and a chicha. Everything was delicious! Just be prepared to get a little messy. It's not exactly a first date spot lol. The chicha was especially good. It's a bit thick, which makes it feel more like a dessert drink. It tasted just like rice pudding, which I loved. 3.5 stars! I came here with my family for a Tuesday lunch and it was empty which was better for me because I had my baby. We walked in and there was a bunch of boxes around the place. At first i didnt understand why then I realized they were donations for Venezuela victims from the earthquakes which was nice. My sister ordered me the Venezuelan sandwich "pepito" with chicken and steak. The sandwich was very good and tasty. It was a big serving and tasted like it was made with love. However, when my dad went to pay the bill at the end they tried to charge an operating fee of $7. My dad complained thats illegal and the lady tried to say its a fee to maintain the space. I never heard of an operating fee anywhere and for that I took off 1.5 stars. Please eliminate that fee if you want to keep customers because the food was great! read more

I had been wanting to try this place for the longest time! And I was not disappointed. They have a vegan option which includes black beans, lettuce, tomatoes, plantains, and avocado. It was absolutely delicious! The avocado wasn't ripe and was a bit hard to chew which might be how Venezuelan food is but I like a softer avocado. But everyone seemed to enjoy it overall. read more

Super friendly staff! Take the time to explain what things are if you're unfamiliar with the cuisine. Items made fresh when you order so it does take a few extra minutes, but it's worth it. Have seating so you can eat in if you want to. We had the Tacucho (like a burrito) with shredded chicken, the shredded beef Pepito sandwich, the chicken empanada, and a beef empanada. Delicious and really filling!! The empanadas were tasty, crunchy, with lots of filling. The sandwich and tacucho were so good as well. This place cooks the best food. Its menu has many options with most being sandwiches- which are always tasty! The flavors and seasonings are on point and true to the Venezuelan cuisine. The catering menu was unbelievable and a hit at our last party. They provided so many sauces with the finger food appetizers and delivered timely. All I can really say is that this place is gonna be my new go-to late indulgence spot. Easily the best comfort food I've had in a long time. The food portions are nice, the food is delicious, and the flavors vary from dish to dish giving you several different flavor profiles at once. The corn pancakes are amazing, mostly because they're sweet but savory as well without either profile overpowering the other. The fries are HELLA indulgent but I'd still get them every time. The meats on top tie everything together and the sauces are divine. Also the CHEESE. The Venezuelan cheese is super yum. Added it to the sandwich too and it was amazing. Awful empanadas.. literally dripping in grease and a weird, gross flavor. Left a horrible taste in my mouth. Also the service was horrible. Instead of the older lady who made the empanadas handing me my take out bag when it was done, she handed it to the cashier who was taking an order on the phone for a long time. When she hung up THEN she gave it to me. Why couldn't she just give me that bag instead of having me sit there like an idiot. No smiles, no hello, nothing.
