Switchers allow a director to mix multiple camera angles, add graphics, add titles, add animations and add other video produced packages to a live broadcast. That may sound complicated to you but do not be scared because Broadcast has some amazing control options...these are called Video Control Centers. An operator can now switch a broadcast just using a touch screen to switch camera angles and add graphics. This is just amazing and it is so easy to do. They also offer VOX which can switch your cameras based off of who is speaking into their microphone. This is great for government meetings and radio shows who want a professional looking production but lack a budget or the manpower to switch the event. One of the coolest features is Virtual Sets...all you need is a green screen and Broadcast Pix will easily transform you to a new location anywhere around the world. So this switching a live program does not seem that hard, after all!!! Does it?...actually thanks to Broadcast Pix they are making it easier and more cost effective to bring your production to air.
