Having to say goodbye to fur baby is never easy. 2 years or 20 years... it never seems like it was long enough. We chose to take our sweet girl here as she was nearing the end of her life. Purrfurred pets staff catered to my sweet girl and comforted me as I was a sobbing mess. No matter they told me to take my time and didn't rush me. They let me stay with her until I was ready... even though saying my final good byes was so hard, the staff truly helped me with this process. So thank you from the bottom of my heart... and Pixie's

The staff here is amazingly friendly and kind. They have a big heart for animals. 2019 We came here when our little chihuahua had become ill. Her anal gland was inflamed and she wasn't wanting to eat. We seen 3 different vets here all going above and beyond trying different tests to help her. I asked after almost a year of testing if maybe it was cancer. They didn't think so and the male vet had told me there isn't really a test for cancer. A medication they had given her for something else while trouble shooting as a fluke kept her eating. So we just kept giving refilling and giving it to her. When we exhausted the options we were recommended to do a test they didn't offer. I went to another vet to request that test. They ran the test and it came back good. The follow up appointment for the results was another vet in the new office. He looked at her and he said it was cancer just by looking at her as she was all skin and bones. He was thr owner and a seasoned vet over 40 years. He sent us to a oncologist per my request and confirmed it was adenocarcinoma. Our neighbor had a cat who became diabetic and had a play scratch injury to her eyes. They couldn't get the eye issue resolved and our neighbor ended up putting the cat down. I wish I knew sooner so I could have treated her to the other vet to see if they knew what it was. This place is a very special place and they care so much really they do. Thr gal we always saw at the front desk was so sweet. I appreciate them with all my heart. If you have a special unknown medical issue with your pet get a second opinion if it doesn't seem to be getting resolved. I recommend seeking another vet before any big decisions are met. We really appreciate them here.

I've found Purrfurred Pets to be friendly, responsive, and caring. I do send their contact info to anyone looking for good local care.

This place almost killed my cat and then took ZERO responsibility for their actions and placed blame on anything but themselves even with documentation showing she was healthy prior to her surgery and then documentation after the fact showing how she was anemic, had an infection and so forth. I can't post the whole review because it exceeds the allotted amount but if you'd like to know the full extent of what happened email me and I will send everything to you! I would avoid this place like the plague and run as fast as you can!! I am now $3k+ in debt all because of them!! My email is alexandrasmith22@aol.com

They were very understanding, took accountability, and made the effort to correct the issue. They were able to get my puppy in for her booster shot and waived the fee that had been missed during the original visit, which I really appreciated. It meant a lot that they followed up and took the time to make things right. While the initial experience was frustrating, I do recognize and value how the situation was resolved. I'm hopeful this reflects a commitment to improving communication and overall client experience moving forward. ------------------ I wish I didn't have to give a star at all but seeing as I have to in order to leave a review, I'll give them one. I had a really disappointing experience with this vet clinic, and I would not recommend them based on how they handled both my dog's care and their billing process. During my first visit, I brought in both of my dogs and was told there was a $74 appointment fee per dog. However, the clinic only charged me for one at the time. There was no mention of an outstanding balance when we checked out and no indication that there was an unpaid fee due to their own billing mistake. Fast forward to my pups booster appointment, and the experience became even more frustrating. The clinic called me and asked me to move her appointment back 2 1/2 hours because they were short staffed. I accommodated their request and rearranged my day to make it work. After already inconveniencing me due to their staffing issue, I arrived for my puppy's appointment only to be told they would refuse to see her for her Pavo/distemper booster unless I paid the $74 fee that THEY failed to charge me during the previous visit. Instead of taking accountability for their own mistake, they placed the responsibility on me and used my puppy's care as leverage to collect a charge they failed to properly communicate. What made this even more concerning was hearing the front desk staff on the phone with another pet parent saying they had also "forgotten" to charge them for their appointment fee previously and were now trying to collect payment. This does not appear to be a one-time oversight--it seems to be a recurring issue with their billing practices. I completely understand that businesses need to be paid, but the way this was handled was extremely unprofessional. Pet owners should not be surprised with fees after the fact, nor should they have their pet's appointments delayed because of an internal billing error. A veterinary office should prioritize the health and care of the animals they serve, along with clear communication and accountability. It seems that is not the case at this vet. Collecting their money is the ONLY priority. Unfortunately, after this experience, I no longer feel confident bringing my dogs here and will be finding a different veterinary provider moving forward.

My poor pup was struggling to breathe so I called every vet in Arizona. This was the only office that answered. They even held an appointment for me when they really didn't have any availability. I showed up 30 min early and I expressed my concerns (I was absolutely distraught, and they were extremely understanding and patient)...they brought her right back. She got a chest x-ray and I was told she had mild pneumonia and we got antibiotics. Dr. Erickson answered my million questions and was so quick with the visit even though he was tightly booked. Kelley was also amazing and was so calming and reassuring. The next day, Kelley called me to ask for an update on my dog. She is doing WONDERFUL now 4 days later. We spent about $450 for an exam, x-ray, and antibiotics. Still WAY cheaper than what we had to pay at the ER ($700) just for some injections and oxygen. I truly am so grateful that I finally found a veterinary office that puts the owners and pets first. I will definitely be bringing my dog back here. Thank you again.

I asked, "can you help?" Ally said, "we got you". They admitted her immediately. Ally was wonderful getting all the preliminary paperwork going. She was kind, gracious and patient. Thank you Ally. I met with Dr. Riley, who was amazing. She did not sugar coat things and told me what we were looking at. While waiting, I personally heard the staff at the front desk mocking other pet owners who were calling in to get care for their pets. They acted completely irritated to be helping their own customers. My cat Gracie was seen that day for vomiting and an earache. On 8/3, Dr. Timiney left a voicemail stating Gracie's blood work showed an elevated Amylase level of 2,500 U/L (their normal high is 2,200) and crystals in her urine. In the voicemail, she explicitly stated that Gracie needed a specialized prescription therapeutic diet to address these issues. I spent two days calling back to get the food and prescriptions, but my calls were repeatedly ignored. On 8/4 at 10:00 AM, my husband and I went to the clinic in person desperately trying to buy the prescription food the vet recommended. A staff member named Taylor explicitly refused to give us the prescriptions, refused to sell us the food, and ordered us to leave the premises. She actively blocked a sick animal from receiving its medication. When we left, she sarcastically told us to "have a good day." After Grand Paws kicked us out, we started reading other people's online reviews of this clinic. Realizing through their past history that we were never going to get the help we desperately needed from them, we knew we had to get Gracie quickly to another qualified veterinarian. Hours later at 4:37 PM, Dr. Timiney left another voicemail admitting she knew we had been trying to call back and stating she heard Gracie was now declining and might need urgent x-rays. This proves the clinic knew my cat was getting worse, yet they chose to withhold her medicine and kick us out earlier that morning. We rushed Gracie to Bell Parkway Veterinary Hospital, where the amazing, professional staff immediately stabilized her with pain meds, anti-nausea meds, and her therapeutic food. Grand Paws practices patient abandonment and has zero empathy from the front desk down. Avoid them at all costs if you love your pets.

He was really sick for the first time. I thought he might puke himself to death, so I ended up taking him to the cat hospital. Then they showed up with paperwork that indicated I had to sign and agree to a $1500 fee if I wanted them to fully resuscitate him. The second page of the paperwork listed all of the tests they were going to do on him once I signed. The bill for the tests at the bottom came to just under 6k. I asked if the vet had even looked at Buster. "Not until you sign the paperwork." And then, I flipped the fuck out. I had a complete Steel Magnolias moment. I started screaming. "I don't care how much it costs, give me my cat right now." They brought Buster back to me and we left. I called someone I knew who was local to Arizona and she told me to take Buster to Petsvet. I called Petsvet, and they got him in immediately. The doctor examined Buster right away, and I told her my story. I mentioned that we were from the City and Buster had only been to one doc on the UWS his whole life and he'd never been this sick before. I also told the doc that I had just flipped out in the place where I took Buster first, but admitted that I overreacted and explained that I'm from New York and never had any experience like that before.
