Amber was there every step of the way, handled everything seamlessly, and went above and beyond to ensure we ended up having the best wedding. When we were first interviewing wedding planners after we had gotten engaged (2018), Amber came extremely prepared with examples of her work and sample files of how she plans/executes weddings. She was head and shoulders above anyone else we interviewed and we immediately knew she was the one. During the planning process, Amber was always there to answer my endless amount of questions and help me with my extreme indecisiveness. She is very organized and kept us on track for all things for our wedding (both financially and timeline-wise). She is very honest and all her recommendations for vendors were the absolute best/you couldn't go wrong with any of them. We were able to put our full trust in her very early on. When it came to design, Amber is very creative and has a great eye for everything. We had a very unconventional vision to capture the surreal vibe inspired by a horror movie called Annihilation (very colorful florals that don't exist in real-life and kind of have a weird/creepy vibe about them) and Amber was completely on board. We also added the extra complication of having so many different hanging installations for the florals and the lighting (a big disco ball installation with chandeliers) . She recommended the vendors that she thought would go best with our vision and we really ended up with the ultimate dream team. When finalizing design, I had a couple reservations about some of her color choices, but we ended up going with it and it couldn't have been more perfect. She is truly an expert! With the pandemic, she seamlessly handled coordinating with our vendors and was completely there for us even though she had the busiest wedding season of all time this past summer (2 wedding seasons in 1). We are truly grateful for all the work she had put in when her bandwidth was spread as thin as it was. In our final coordination meetings with all our vendors leading up to our wedding day, she really showcased her expertise by asking all the right questions to ensure everyone was prepared to have things running smoothly the day of. Without this, we honestly would have missed so many things and not have been able to enjoy our wedding day ourselves. Fast forward to our wedding day, her day of coordination was impeccable. I was relaxed the entire day and knew I could trust her with everything. We fully enjoyed our entire wedding day/night and were able to eat and party without any concerns. There were multiple instances of people looking out for us and trying to help during the wedding day due to the coordinator's oversights. My wife's bridesmaid and MOH tried to open the veil for my wife, however they both were reprimanded by the coordinator to get in line and the coordinator stated that she would do it. She claims that she opened it up and the fan blew it closed when I turned the corner, but that is a blatant lie as the veil was already closed when my wife walked down the aisle as the coordinator never opened up her veil. Additionally, the fan was not strong at all, as evidenced on video footage. Another incidence, the seats were positioned improperly and not as a circular manner around the arbor. Katrina did not even remember that this was what was previously agreed on. The seats were also very lopsided on one side and were 2x the amount as the other side. When my brother-in-law notified Katrina, she did not even want to try to see if there was a way to improve it. She just said it's fine, and that the couple would not care and not to tell his sister. Katrina was very dismissive of our concerns. So my brother-in-law had to rely on the wedding venue person to help do her job. Unfortunately I did not know any of this was happening in the background because our wedding guests did not want to bother us so did not complain about the coordinator until we started to hear more complaints in the days after. Multiple individuals informed us of the coordinator Katrina's rude and curt demeanor when they asked her any questions or cared more than she did. Additionally, she was late for our initial meeting and was very disorganized. She also asked to take a bunch of our desserts home, which we let her, even though she didn't deserve it. We reached out to Katrina and tried to resolve these issues with her, but she was unwilling to, hence this lengthy review. Do not recommend working with her at all. Search elsewhere, unless you want someone unprofessional, disorganized, and untrustworthy. We truly regret having hired Katrina as our florist and coordinator.

When I contacted Katrina about this, she said "Well this keeps getting better and so frustrating. My computer crashed and I had to have someone else make my prints and I'm so irritated by it all. You can take the Part of the n off and after and restick. And then I'm Going to find a hole to climb into and die". Like what?? Also, to add when she contacted me two days prior I discussed a gold mirror with a sticker decal and she sent me a proof of a silver mirror. When I asked her about it, the level of empathy was disgusting. I will not be recommending this business to anyone & will let my florist know to take Love Blooms off her preferred vendor list.

We also did 40 bouquets for centerpieces and other tables. What was nice was I showed her my dream bouquet and I liked about it. That entailed blush and cream colored flowers, natural greenery and lots of soft texture. Something sweet and romantic. I was so bummed when I learned peonies weren't in season, but we ended up using garden roses, which looked similar and was a lot cheaper. Not to mention, we saved a ton of money overall by sticking with seasonal flowers. We had no idea what flowers she was going to pick nor did we know how everything would turn out like. Really we were putting all our faith in her. Let me tell you, her work blew us away! Everything tied together nicely...I'm still dreaming about how beautiful they were... Plus, we have scored big time with the centerpieces. Instead of pay $75 per bouquet (quotes from other places), we went out and bought our own mason jars at Goodwill (25 cents).
