There are a lot of people we like to honor with this: The top two impressions that I have whenever I see the bouquets we've purchased are: extremely fresh, and "arranged by a designer." Fresh: Casablanca's flowers somehow communicate the experience of an early spring morning. Compared to big-shop arrangements, the flowers are dewy. Their forms are completely expressive, unruffled by the trauma of being crammed into shipping crates. The flowers simply summon a vision of the fields and woods in which they natural live. Designed: When you see an arrangement from Casablanca, it is instantly apparent that a designer created an artistic expression with the flowers. Most florists do a very defensible job consolidating greens and florals into a balanced, well-proportioned assembly. Each one probably looks just about the same. That's not what you're getting here. Maura's work instantly says, "a person saw something unique about these specific flowers and arranged them in a way that highlights their only-one-in-the-world attributes. If you like big, showy, bundles of green, Casablanca's arrangements are not likely to impress you.
