If I could give zero stars I would. I have never felt inclined to use Yelp to complain about a business until I worked for Push. I am an experienced promo model and have worked for many agencies and this is BY FAR the worst. I worked an event over 2 and a half months ago and still have yet to be paid. I have contacted Okasana and Ashley many times from this company and I keep getting told my payment will be handled and it is not. I was also told I would be paid $30 an hour and after I had worked to event they are trying to change my pay rate to $10 an hour. One of the worst promotional modeling agencies that I have ever worked for. I worked a trade show in March for them. Today is July 30th, and I still not been paid. I've been constantly ignored & given the run around. About a week ago, they told me the client never paid them & was sent to collections. An hour later, the company miraculously paid. I reached out to the company in question & they told me Push was paid MONTHS ago. I was told my check would be sent out the 25th. I emailed Push on the 25th to confirm, and they still have not responded. A fellow model that worked this same event with me is dealing with this same issue. I have worked four different liquor promotions for Push, the first of which was in April. It is now almost July. I understand that it takes time when waiting for another company to pay Push so that Push can pay me, but it seems a bit ridiculous for it to take this long. I have heard this from several other experienced brand ambassadors. They have warned me to not work with this agency as they had to threaten legal action to get paid. I've reached out to the accounting department and my booking agent multiple times but they continue to tell me that they are waiting to close the account. Push should not be taking up brand ambassadors' time if they cannot pay them for their work. read more

I would not recommend this agency to anyone. I only did a few gigs with them. I returned after a few years to share my high energy and great smile. But this agency just made me not want to book with them again. They do state 30-60 days to get payed. And they don't really mean 30 days, they mean 60 days exactly. I finally got my check today that was 60 days away from the events I attended. I spoke to one of the owners of one of the events. He told me PUSH Agency charges for the models as soon as they book with them. So basically they are holding money in the accounting department 60 days for no reason. Its insane if the money is there why not pay your models a few weeks after they have done their job. Especially when we do everything they ask us to do, check in, send pictures, smile, represent their " awesome agency", be out going, have a great attitude and so on. If they want to keep models and they need to figure out a better way to pay them and NOT pay them 60 days later. We work hard for these events and its rude to think we have to wait around, send emails to Push Agency to get pain. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with this agency. They don't value great, talented models. read more

Been working with them for about a few months now. I've gain so much experience and the Booking managers like to give you a call and basically let you know what the event is about and what you'd be doing. So far I've had a really good time and met cool people along the way. I did do one event where the client had us outside and it was freezing. We weren't allowed to wear jackets and they kept us over the agreement time with no food. Guest were complaining and disgusted. In situations like that Models should be protected. If you want positive awareness around your event or brand make sure you have that type of environment. read more

THE PROS: Staff is professional, knowledgeable and was prompt in terms of sending event information and keeping me informed of what was expected of me on the job. THE CONS: - Needs to have WAAAYYYY better communication between employees and the client in which they do business with. I was booked to do a liquor promotion event through PUSH. However, once the on-site contact (a representative of the client) who was going to be present at the venue, called me and asked for pictures of me, she must have insisted that I didn't have the "look" they were going for and expressed this with PUSH. I was un-booked the next day. - Because I was "un-booked" for the event just the morning after I sent the client my pictures, it is obvious you are only considered if you have that "girls gone wild" appeal. Just take a look at the website. All brunette or blond, slightly attractive females with double d breasts.Maybe one...or NONE ethnic talent represented. Although I have prior experience in doing liquor promotions, and a great personality, that apparently does not prove that I can perform the job. - Establish better communication between your workers and the client so that you're all on the same page BEFORE you book your talent. If this had occurred, none of this "unbooking" stuff would happen. - Also, I was called by about three different people before I was booked wanting to discuss details with me about the job. Two people at the most is fine, (onsite contact and booking manager) but more than that means obviously there's a discrepancy between workers as to who exactly is in charge of doing what and this is very confusing to the talent. read more

I would not recommend this company, I have been with Push since 2012 . I have applied to every job that I am interested in and I almost never get to work any events. The only time I have gotten any response was during a long weekend or a hour before the event. I live an hour away from Toronto so it takes a bit to get there. I have emailed Push about this which I never get a answer as to why I have not gotten booked. I do not recommend Push at all. read more

The PUSH Agency is one of these companies. Aside from having the largest database (by far) in North America, the PUSH in house staff provide a level of customer service I rarely see in the business I work with. Think that has something to do with the couture that has been built... From the killer office building, to the young and hip people, to the Directer of Happiness (aka Larry the office dog) it is a very cool company. I have worked alongside PUSH in AZ for over six years now, and I can honestly say that as far as the collective effort, organization, a positive culture and an overall commitment to never ending improvements in the staffing industry for both models and clients, PUSH is an elite player. When you grow from a local/regional staffing agency to a national powerhouse in a relatively short period of time, there are always issues to handle and pitfalls to navigate around. I think the handful who have left negative reviews here, are probably ill informed of the process from the agency to client side of things, and certainly there were some accounting challenges to work through with such an increase in business volume. I can personally attest to the fact that when running large campaigns, there can be a number of moving parts causing things to move a bit more slowly than expected at times, or a handful of mistakes can be made. But the one thing that I am certain of is that every interaction between staff and talent or between staff and clients comes from a place of integrity, and the relatively few issues that do occasionally happen compared to the massive amount of business that is conducted (and skillfully executed) are taken seriously and solved quickly. If you want to put a dynamic group in your corner for staffing or events, PUSH is the best choice out there today. read more

I still have yet to receive payment for a job I worked promoting perfume nearly 5 months ago. Working in the perfume section actually caused me to have a severe migraine to the point where I was swallowing my puke yet I continued to put on a happy face and strive to be positive and greet/inform customers about the particular perfume I was promoting because times are tough and I really "needed the money".. Well I guess I've learned my lesson, this is by no means a company to work for if you in fact need money. From my personal experience they will completely forget about sending you your check until you become "pushy" with them about it..(hence the name pushmodels) .. They now inform me that my check should arrive by the end of next week. What I would like to know is why I could not be informed about it being sent out at this time 4 months ago?! I don't know if accounting is to blame or what as I can never get a hold of them but I would advise everyone to beware. Being paid in a timely fashion is not something to expect and get ready to be pushy for what you should have earned. read more

It felt sketchy right from that point. NOW It has been 4 MONTHS and NO PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE. I HAVE EMAILED SO MANY TIMES. I have threatened to take them to court and they NEVER REPLY. There were 160 of us models and we all thought the PUSH managers did a great job handling everyone (that many girls can get crazy!). We were all talking about how cool they were. This company is extremely unprofessional. I was hired for a fragrance launch at a department store. I was told that there would be a display table already set up for me and I just needed to show up and ask for the fragrance or store manager. I went through thorough training for the job and ended up spending several hours of my time preparing. When I arrived, neither the fragrance manager or store manager were aware of the promotion. The store manager assisted me by calling around to various managers who may have been informed of the promo. Meanwhile, I was texting and calling the person that booked me from PUSH to see how she wanted me to proceed, but she was not responding. Since I could not do the promotion with no display and no product to sample (the managers would not give me the product without collateral), I got the numbers for both the store manager and sales manager in order to connect them to PUSH models to reschedule when everyone was on the same page. I finally received a text back from the PUSH representative saying "It's fine. Just work the next event." The next day I get another text asking how many bottles of the fragrance I sold. I told her I had left because I was told to just work the next event. She said I misunderstood and that I was supposed to work the event even though the manager wasn't aware of it. (Which couldn't have been done because there was no display table, and no products to sample). I understand that these things happen, but how they handled it afterwards is where I have a problem. Despite this being 100% PUSH models' fault for not informing the store of the promotion and not being available to take my phone calls or respond to my texts in a timely fashion; their representative still gave me a 1 star rating on what should have been my first PUSH event, preventing me from getting more work in the future. There are far better promotional modeling agencies out there (some of for which I am one of the top sales models), and I suggest that anyone looking to get into promo work avoids PUSH and goes for one of those. read more
