The front desk staff, Ms. Dawn was very friendly and made me feel welcomed coming into their office for the first time. She was also helpful to me just coming out of a recent hand surgery and having a hard time writing. The tech Mr. David made me feel comfortable and relaxed as a patient dealing with anxiety of having an MRI and being claustrophobic. He remained patient, respectful and calm while I felt overwhelmed. The manager Ms. Shelley was more than willing to assist me in the dressing room while struggling to change to the proper attire fit for the MRI due to me wearing a skirt. I had a hard time changing due to the hand surgery. She kept it discreet and private. No one else knew I was struggling in that area. I appreciated her kindness and willingness to step in and help out. The office was well kept and all the staff were sweet. Thank you all for an amazing first-time experience.

Upon arrival there was another patient sitting in the lobby . The lobby is clean and decorated nice . The check in process was easy breezy . I completed the paperwork and paid the copayment. The nurses were very nice and funny. Another patient came in for copies of his report. The nurse explained the process but he wasn't hearing it. She handled his rudeness very well. The MRI tech was nice as well. We arrived at 12:30. Completed the paperwork and he was in for the procedure at 12:50. Everything was a success he was able to sit still for 45min .

Scan centers in or nearby hospitals tend to be the most expensive and have cramped parking. That's where John's creek MRI comes in... This is a highly professional office from the front desk to the staff in back. Their appointments are set up through a centralized phone number and then the office staff will contact you if any issues arise before you appointment (issues meaning: your health insurance policy is giving them/you problems, that is sure to happen, but they work with you efficiently to handle the issues.) I was particularly impressed with how organized and hard-working the front office staff was... They were ready to answer any question and gave great customer service. My experience has been the opposite in many other places. A nice addition to the MRI scan room is the offer of headphones while you are trapped in the MRI machine. Those machines are exceptionally loud and the headphones are a great way to help drown out that noise. Just be sure to have a radio station in mind when they ask you what you would like to listen to ... (I sort of froze up because I think most Atlanta-based radio stations are total crap nowadays.) They have limited evening and weekend appointments if you wish. There is ample free parking in their private lot so you won't have to pay for the typical parking garage near a hospital. Good luck!
