    The golf course
    Kristie P.

This place was wonderful! The staff was very nice and the course is pretty. We had a fantastic time playing mini golf. Everything was clean and sanitized and the staff made sure everyone was following social distancing properly. We started off with delicious ice cream and then a competitive game of mini golf. This was a very family friendly place, and we will certainly be back. On Wednesday's the cost to play is $7 for adults and children! I definitely recommend checking it out!

Cute little outdoor put-put place. Staff were friendly. Kids loved it. Plus ice cream after? Awesome.

He stuck to what was within reach, by riding the 1-token fire truck and motorcycle in front of the PlayPark, playing skeeball, and trying out the NERF Arcade shooting game. While I enjoyed the TMNT 4-player arcade game and shooting basketballs at the NBA hoops. We won most of our tickets from skeeball, NERF Arcade, and NBA hoops. *BE MINDFUL that not all of the arcade games disperse tickets so you know what you are paying and playing for.* We didn't win enough tickets to redeem anything that we liked. Now onto the food: you have to buy an entire personal pizza instead of a slice. Not a bad thing because it can easily be split between two people or devoured by a very hungry person. The pizza is solid. Much better than I anticipated. It has a homemade taste to it, much like those homemade English muffin pizzas that one can make at home. The candy bars are about $1.25 a piece. We also tried the MiniMelts ice cream vending machine. I didn't like the cotton candy flavor but my nephew ate every bite! We'll be returning!

I see why Main Event has a pull. They have bowling, billiards, and even laser tag and gravity…read moreropes. There wasn't much explanation available for gravity ropes or laser tag and I kinda felt like "just there" and while I could figure things out, since I am not in the best physical shape and partially because I coordinated a lot of planning probably, it was a bit overwhelming for me. Since it was my first time with gravity ropes, I was there with two friends the first time around. That's how I learned about gravity ropes, but they are only open Friday through Monday and not on a Wednesday night. I don't remember what the staffer told me Wednesday night, but I tried calling to see if I needed to reserve Gravity Ropes and since I couldn't get through, I figured I would just wait until I got on-site to reserve a time slot. Since my friends were coming later than requested, I had to wait until the last person came in order for me to request a time for our entire group to be together for it. This was all fine. Gravity ropes, you get strapped in safety gear and then you figure out how to go across the obstacles. Some obstacles don't have rope railings and the zip lining has no railings of course (but i didn't realize it was zip lining until I was there lol). but you might hold on to your rope to slide to the other side even if you would get rope burn. Laser tag has a name for the suit you put on so that you know your score but that wasn't apparent and the landscape for the laser tag was eh. Not many places offer laser tag and gravity ropes- but I think I will venture elsewhere on my own. Signs saying if it's your first time for laser tag or gravity ropes at our facility, asking a staffer could be helpful so that staffers don't have to unnecessarily repeat themselves etc. My blue slushie came out fine. They also offer alcoholic slushies here which is a cool option and offers that added party atmosphere and flavor options that some people like myself like. I didn't get one because I didn't want one before doing gravity ropes and my group didn't stay long enough for me to have one as others wanted to go elsewhere. I enjoyed their VR machines but some parts may be not working super good. I heard the food was typical arcade quality bad. Some of the crowd's lack of class here somewhat resemble the apathy and exhaustion from some of the staff that work here. Particularly some of the people who looked like they barely passed for 21. Two of them cut in line for gravity ropes in the middle of my group but they couldn't go on because they didn't get strapped on. A group of girls didn't seem to pay attention to the regular line for signing up for billiards or bowling, and assumed they were there first. I wasn't in a hurry and just let them ahead but I didn't care for the sense of entitlement. Also, It feels like there could be a few more staff on this busy Sat night too. The experience was discombobulating for me and I would only go again w friends if they wanted me to go.

Gino's Drive Range & Miniature Golf - TERRIBLE range balls. Probably the worst at any range I've ever been to.

This was the only mini-golf course for miles around and that fact has not changed much in the intervening time. In between dates, I came here to use the driving range when I still had visions of being the next Jack Nicklaus. The dates worked out as well as my Jack Nicklaus dream did, but I met a wonderful woman in college and we have been blessed with 3 wonderful children. As they were growing up, Gino's offered a quick, easy, and cheap way to get some entertainment outside. The course is very straightforward with few difficult obstacles or can be played pretty quickly - the perfect course for little kids. With an ice cream and pizza shop next door, it was a great outing. The kids have gotten older, but our family love of mini-golf has not diminished. We have searched far and wide for more and more challenging courses, but it has been a while since we came back to our old standby - Gino's. Last night, we decided to take advantage of the awesome spring weather and grab a round after dinner. The course is still on the easy side and Gino is still sitting inside the shack taking the money, but I am happy to report that the course is in great shape. New turf on the holes, no weeds in the landscape beds, no stones on the course - it was a nice round. You don't go to Gino's for a challenge or for amazing obstacles, but if you want to get out for a quick round and some family fun (or a cool date) that does not include electronics, then Gino's is the place to go. Oh - and the pizza/ice cream shop is still there too!

***DRIVING RANGE REVIEW ONLY***…read more That said....the driving range was pretty trash. First, the place is cash only, which isn't a deal breaker, but in this day and age, is more than a little annoying. Secondly, everything is a little run down. You CAN borrow a driver, but you better like Goodwill level clubs. (I brought my own.) The little driver corrals/pens/whatever were almost ALL missing tees, and when I finally found one laying around, it was so low that teeing up was barely higher than just putting it on the mat. The balls were an absolute disgrace. (See picture.) I've never even HEARD of "Valken" brand balls, and they were positively beat to shit. Cuts, worn out dimples, dirty...the whole 9. They felt like they were made out of concrete. Your DRIVER is sending these things maybe 150. The only real positive is that they weren't that expensive. A small bucket was $7 and a large is $12. I was there just to blow off some steam, which was good, because it would've been a wasted range session trying to work on my swing with that setup and THOSE BALLS. The mini golf and batting cage looked BETTER, but both still looked old, and old-school, so I don't think I'll be back to try either of those any time soon. MAYBE a cheap date night or something, if we don't have to time to drive too far for something a little more polished or modern.
