We worked with Jacob to make a plan and work out details and needs. Jacob assured us the plants would be avoided as best as possible, and went over what should be moved or tied back to help ensure they were protected. Inevitably a couple of plants were just too in the way, but overall the team took lots of care around them. There was a little delay with the posts we went with and Jacob communicated wonderfully about this, and worked to get us in immediately once the posts were finished with the fabricator. Cristian led the work crew and was an excellent communicator throughout. We ran into a couple of underground wires that were not properly marked by the marking company, he was extremely remorseful and one of the guys ran out to get parts immediately to put in a temporary fix. Again, this was not their fault, yet they took responsibility. The team worked hard for several days, always communicating what was happening. They were respectful, and not loud (except for power tools as needed). The project made a bit of a mess, I was a little worried about clean up, but Cristian assured me they would be doing a full clean up once the project concluded. They did such a great job cleaning up! Only reason they don't get five stars is disorganization with their quotes. I had someone come out and measure up the property but never heard back from them, only ended up going with Secoma after another contractor (fortunately, it would turn out) backed out, so I gave Secoma a call to see what happened with that quote and they finally sent it over, turned out to be the lowest quote relative to material selection. I got lucky but sucks that I nearly missed out on their excellent work and prices because of this.

He cut corners and did it as cheap as possible. I also paid him to repair my front gate to prevent my dogs from getting out of the yard. He messed that up also as the gate hangs crooked leaving a gap my dogs can get through. I have photos as evidence and would not recommend his services as he does not keep his word. I will be following up with a complaint filed with the BBB of Washington. I have the texts he sent saying he would correct the failures and make the repairs although he never kept his promises. We had DBLstructures install a metal gate into an existing chain link fence about a month ago…read more Pros: They gave a really competitive price. Also, while they originally installed a gate of the wrong size (4ft instead of 5) without measuring first, I appreciate that these guys came back to put in a gate of the correct size. That was the biggest issue and it's now fixed. Cons: The installation wasn't very professional. The top bar that was cut to make room for the gate is just kind of hanging, unsupported. It's pressed against the post, but it won't support much weight if someone ever tries to jump the fence. The post they put in was supposed to have cement per the contract, but they never poured any. The gate latch isn't tight--the gate can be pushed open even when latched closed. Hopefully they'll fix these at some point and I can update the review in the future. Overall, I do have a gate, but I wish I had spent more money and gone with a more experienced contractor.
