Then, when they pick up the dumpster, they charge you without telling you anything or providing proof of why they charged you extra. I ordered a dumpster and figured out it was going to be too small. I didn't want to put in more than the allowed amount, so I ordered a second dumpster. When they took the first one, they charged me extra after leaving. I called to ask why, and the guy said, "Oh, it was over the weight," but he said he was going to waive the extra charge, which he never did. I told him to let me know about the second one because I didn't want to pay extra. Knowing that, I made sure not to put more in it, but they charged me triple what they charged for the first one, even though this one had less stuff in it. I called again, and he said the same thing. I asked for documentation showing how much weight I had and the pricing. He sent me an invoice that had nothing to do with my name or my address. When I said it didn't include anything showing my service, he said, "Oh, this is from the landfill, sorry." You can see his text to me. You have no way of finding out how much weight you put in their dumpster, so they will charge you whatever they feel like without proof or your consent. I began by pricing out every local company in my area, but after talking to their sales and scheduling team member Joe Traylor, I no longer needed to price anyone out. He was exceptional not to mention no company came anywhere close to the price even on shorter rental periods plus they all quote without the mandatory fee's & taxes whereas Budget Dumpster does not. Budget Dumpster simply put plays no games and there really isn't even a need to haggle with them, because no matter what you need they'll come in hundreds of dollars lower than their competitor in the end, all while providing you with top notch customer service to boot. Our original rental period was initially set at only the 10 day minimum (and because my rental frame ended on a weekend I was advised to call on the prior Friday to schedule the pick up to avoid unneeded extension fee's. (Tbh this is the first time where most other companies would've and likely is where they'll make a quick buck off you and not even advise you to make that call, as I was, during the actual business hours should your rental frame end on a weekend.) I then made sure to call that Friday and due to some slight confusion on my end I accidentally scheduled a pick up earlier than I had planned. Needless to say their driver arrived promptly as (accidentally) scheduled and I had to turn him away. A few things I should mention though 1. This fantastic driver was the same driver who delivered my dumpster. 2. This was just about the kindest and sweetest service employee I've ever met or worked with before. 3. He took great care and concern to not only make sure I was comfortable with the service he was providing, but also that the dumpster didn't cause even the most minor or cosmetic damage to our property, double checking the driveway, making sure the lawn didn't get ruined and so on, (which I mentioned several times I wasn't concerned with at all) I'm talking this person went way above and beyond (especially given we're talking about a Dumpster delivery here.) 4. He later waited patiently for me to reach out to the company, explain my confusion, and attempt to clear it up quickly before he drove away without the dumpster and keep in mind these type's of mistakes are where these types of companies bring on all the fee's (Trip fee, cancellation fee, overage fee, overloading fee and so on and so on) that are where they make the most if not all of their profit, but every team member at Budget Dumpster put that last when it came to making sure I was treated well, treated fairly, and treated respectfully. I feel it's safe to say I absolutely was! This particular mistake brought on a hefty Turn-away or "Trip" fee. This was partially my fault. I remember the call and understood how my confusion caused the scheduling error, I was honest about this when speaking to customer service, but they wanted to make absolutely sure it was my error and not theirs so they connected me with a manager, Chris L., who promptly listened to my calls and concluded it was a little of both. Because of this arrangements were made to limit/eliminate that hefty fee from my final invoice, Something like 38 days later when I finally scheduled the pick up (with another Manager David who was equally fantastic to work with!) Chris L. However reached right back out to me directly and before anything was invoiced or picked up he made sure my total was, for lake of a better way to put it, basically the bare minimum I could possibly be charged for the service I was provided, the rental, the turn away, and the total days over the scheduled period that I had kept the dumpster on our property. In the end our full total was actually less than what I was originally quoted from each and every other company I priced out (also theirs all come without the mandatory service fees, delivery and pick up fees, taxes, and so on, because all other companies quote the rental's completely al la carte and budget Dumpster quotes the rental with every single fee or tax included) for the 10 day rental. Their quality customer service alone would've been worth paying much more than we actually did, but I'm happy to say that Budget Dumpster not only lives up to its name but comes along with a level of service you'd never expect. All this to say..... If you're currently looking for a dumpster rental and they're available in your area, than do yourself the favor and stop looking now so that you can give Budget Dumpster a call and experience their quality service and truly low prices yourself! Everyone's great to work with there but I'm sure it can't hurt to ask for Joe Traylor when you call! I promise you won't find a better price or a better team out there.
