This workout was incredible. I was extremely humbled/ thinking i was active and good at pilates!! That's the point though, works things you forget about. The instructor was incredibly supportive and explained all the moves while making the class fun. Would love to attend another class soon'

    Finally in AZ! North Scottsdale

After seeing Pvolve advertised on social media with Jennifer Aniston I was surprised there were no studios in Phoenix. So when this location opened up as the first Pvolve in AZ I was ready! I did the starter pack of 3 classes for $36 and really enjoyed it! The classes focus on functional fitness with a combination of twists, bands and aerobics. The online app is identical to reformed Pilates. This location is located in the Promenade in North Scottsdale. I could easily see new locations open up across Phoenix, the demand is there. All of my first week open classes were packed on weekday mornings. The instructors were great, I learned a lot of new techniques in just the three classes I went to. Looking forward to more!

The instructors are excellent and this studio really up levels a group workout! I personally love trying heavier weights than I'm used to and believe end results might be worth the steps in getting there!

I've been a member on and off since 2022, and I genuinely love this place. A couple of years ago, I…read moreeven purchased my own suit and battery so I could continue working out while visiting family in Michigan -- I didn't want to miss two weeks of training. That's one of the biggest advantages here: it's a workout you can truly take anywhere. I've brought mine on a cruise and fully plan to take it along on future trips as well. I also wanted to share my perspective regarding a couple of other comments. One mentioned pricing. While everyone evaluates value differently, this type of training really isn't comparable to a traditional gym. It's a bit like comparing a fine dining experience to a casual restaurant -- both serve food, but the experience, convenience, and results are different. I can't take gyms like EOS or Mountainside Fitness with me when I travel, but I can take this workout anywhere. That flexibility and convenience are worth it to me. Another comment discussed suit sizing. From my experience, the suit does need to fit snugly to work properly. If it isn't tight enough, you simply won't get the best results and the workout can feel off. The belt is meant for support, and like anything, some styles fit certain body types better than others. I personally avoid one design because it's a bit long for my torso and uncomfortable -- but the trainers have worn and fitted countless suits and usually know what will work best for each person. When I attended classes regularly, they consistently guided me toward the right fit, often better than I could myself. Their recommendations are meant to help maximize the workout, not to be taken negatively. Overall, I've had a very positive experience and appreciate having a workout option that travels with me wherever life takes me.

The progress from "no workout" to a stronger core and flexibility in 2 months is astounding. My body is changing and feeling great, no more back pains. My husband and I joined after doing the Intro Class and realizing we've gotten flexible and muscle tightness eased in just a 30 minute Intro teaser. Most of them are Rehab specialists, so you're in great hands. My family really enjoy their Restore, Center & Balance classes, as well as Flow 1 classes. But anyone can push themselves on their Flow 1.5, 2, Cardio Sculpt and Control. I love focused workouts and overall relaxing routines that stretch and lengthen the muscles. This was a place to land when I tried different various locations. For anyone who values cleanliness and efficiency, you'll love how clean and wonderfully organized this place is. It's my zen place after work or on days off. Rosi, Renee, Joy, Nikole, Andrea are our favorite instructors. It's difficult to pick one, since each has a signature that keeps you coming for more. So I invite friends and family to try a Free Intro Class every other Tuesday Night.

This is cheaper than some yoga studios, average for others (I paid $99 a month for Lifetime up north & had access to LifePower which offers yoga). The CorePowers all have partnerships, in which a member can get nice deals at a variety of places. Unfortunately, CycleBar McCormick Ranch changed ownership and no longer allows the four free classes/month, but there are others. It is very easy to freeze one's membership, and one can do this for up to three months, and the price will return to what it was before freezing. There are no charges during the freeze time, unlike other studios/gyms. Staff members clean the floor immediately after a class. Cold lemon lavender cloths are provided towards the end of class. CONS: Some instructors were not friendly, helpful, but rather, apathetic or just maybe nervous so unsure how to connect, I don't know. There is a charge to rent a mat or towel - common among many places and rather cheap too. There are mostly heated classes, but the heat isn't crazy hot like other places. A few like CoreRestore, community, and C1 are not heated. However, a friend of mine attending the free community one (C1 non heated) and said she had never sweat so much (She is a bit sensitive to heat). This studio no longer accepts Class Pass. The classes: The classes include C1 (basics, usually not heated but some area), C2 Flow Yoga, Yoga Sculpt (more like strength training with cardio bursts), Hot Power Fusion, and Core Restore (like yin yoga, but without many props). Bring: Ice water (and refill there if needed), a towel for the mat, yoga mat, sweat towel (or two or three!), ear plugs depending on the class you take. Wear: clothes that allow sweat to evaporate, no major cotton items. Instructors: I have my favorites: Tristan is hilarious and provides a unique class experience with different sequences each week. "Touch your shins, touch your toes, or touch your nose!" Erin has excellent taste in music, playing Lane8 and others, and I enjoy her C2, and her yoga sculpt is one of the few where the instructor isn't screaming (I don't get this). Erin brings challenges to her classes. Alex teaches mostly in Chandler, but has a Saturday class. She is kind, interested in the attendees, and creates a unique sequence in C2 and HPF. I also like Scott - the Scott who teaches in Scottsdale mostly, Jacqlyn, and Maddie. Other instructors never learned my name, even after 4-5 classes, nor really seemed interested. I used to teach group exercise in the late 90s to early 2000s, so I notice small details. Having been to Urban Yoga for over five years, Sutra for a year, LifePower for 6 months, and even other studios, not all instructors are as welcoming as what I was used to (and some are!). Since the set up is where instructors check in the attendees, there is no time for the instructor to walk around and introduce him/herself and ask about potential injuries or other important questions. Other notes: Some classes are incredibly loud, and the instructor will shriek over the music. I'm not a fan of this. I do bring ear plugs with me at all times, as a just in case.
