Started here just 6 weeks ago. Awesome people all the way around. Trainers are very knowledgeable explaining exactly how to do the exercises. Keep an eye on you to be sure you are maximizing your workouts injury free. The other members are all very friendly. For being there such a short time it feels like home. I look forward to going and seeing everyone. I didn't have weight to lose but wanted to tighten and lean. Less that a month and I was down 1.5lbs fat and gained over 1 lb. of muscles. I have been at Altered Athletics for 6 weeks now and I love it! It is just what I was looking for even though I have never strength trained before. I wanted to learn how to lift weights safely, gain muscle, and lose weight. They have exceeded my expectations. The 2-6 women only group training is perfect for me to have a sense of community but still feel like you are getting individualized training/help. All the women and trainers have been so kind and welcoming. From the very first day, I have felt welcomed and never embarrassed for having never lifted weights.
