It's a mindful gym! Kinda on the smaller side compared to the many other ones they've expanded throughout arizona but . The atmosphere is lovely the front desk techs are always nice friendly helpful and knowledgeable on your concerns . The smiles from them is what gets me coming back everytime And the fitness manager actually stepped in and did a session with me when no one was available (I was late) Nice up to date equipment. I have never experienced treatment like this in my entire life! I joined this gym recently and was extremely disappointed by the poor cleanliness of this gym and equipment. Within a week, I tried to cancel my membership, but was told I would still be paying all of the fees associated with it. ($100), even though I used it just three times. I discussed this with salesmen CAMERON and CONNOR and they told me they would address it promptly with their director and call me back within an hour. A week later when I still received NO call back I went into the gym and Cameron gave a sarcastic smile, shrugged his shoulders, and said "sorry we've been busy." I asked once again if I could have my situation addressed and both very rudely of them disregarded me totally. I asked for the email address to the manager to their location and they gave me a email address that is not valid. I am still dealing with this issue and have gotten nowhere with these two very unprofessional men. Their director would be ashamed to know they are treating their members this way. read more

Overall a well stocked gym with great amenities for a very reasonable monthly fee, and no contract. Super busy at times, but early mornings are no problem to find your space. My only complaint after a couple weeks is that the towels are small and scratchy, unlike their claim of "soft and fluffy" on the towel machine. Also, the amenities vary between locations so make sure you're aware. read more

Good lifting gym. But every other EOS allows the basketball court to be open till they close but this one they say that they need to clean it which I know they don't because every time I go and play a ball there my basketball is completely filthy and I can feel the dirt on the cord so I know that they don't clean it. They just close it down for God knows why whatever reason they have. It just comes down the pure laziness. Good staff. Bad bad leadership of the place. But if you wanna watch a movie till they close while you work out, they'll gladly leave the movie theater open in a goddamn gym. read more

If I could give minus zero stars I would!! I canceled my membership over a year ago, but EOS Fitness continued charging me monthly without my knowledge (they said they had no record of me cancelling). I mistakenly thought the charges were from a new membership elsewhere. Trying to resolve this was an absolute nightmare. I called, emailed, and followed up multiple times, but got zero response at first. The GM, Will, was completely unresponsive until I practically had to harass staff to get anyone to pay attention. Only Cameron was helpful...he's the only reason I eventually got my calls and emails returned. After speaking with Will, he said he would immediately cancel my membership and could refund only three months (and he said that was being generous), even though they had charged me for over a year. After not receiving my refund, I called the gym (of course Will was not available but I spoke with the front desk) and to my surprise, they said my account was still active. It felt like déjà vu...and of course the same excuses, same lack of accountability. After another month of being promised a 3-month refund (which was a bare minimum), it never came. I sent more emails and called them, I finally got Will on the phone again. He told me the refund was denied by the regional manager, Noah Fuster, because there was "no proof." No one had the courtesy to even tell me until I chased them down again. EOS Fitness took over a year's worth of fees for a membership I canceled. They never processed my cancellation properly, and their customer service has been incredibly disappointing. If I hadn't stayed on top of them the 2nd time, I doubt they would've ever addressed it at all. There are so many better gyms out there with actual customer service and integrity. Avoid this place...especially this location. Total thumbs down. I'll never go back. read more

I can not possible emphasize this enough it was such a SCAM and waste of money. My time was wasted for more than a month by the trainers at this location. EOS workers will not do anything to support you either. They told me "this is very unsual behavior" no consequences in sight. I don't know if this is because the trainers were 24 and under but I feel very shorted by the company I was loyal to for 3 plus years. read more

For the past 2 years this gym has become a high school age teenage boys hang-out after 6pm. Sometimes it would be as many as 20-30 of them in a group. The problem is that they don't really work out but truly just hang-out and kill time. They are very loud and inconsiderate of other gym members who are there to work out. Literally sitting on the equipment and just chatting or on the phones. As I said they are very loud (don't take their headsets off when talking, it's a fashion accessory) and every other word is a profanity (and don't get me wrong I am no saint when it comes to dropping f-bombs), vulgar comments about women/girls in the gym and their girl-friends from school. Not to mention constant "flexing", taking selfies and making videos on the floor and in the locker room. Don't be surprised to see them popping zits in front of the locker-room mirror. Multiple members have complained to the manager but he does nothing about it and is never there after 5pm. As a matter of fact, some of the employees (high school age) are the leaders of the pack and promote such behaviors. As a result many of the regular members that used to come to this gym have left. So unless you want to be taken back to your high school era don't come to this EOS location (7000 E Mayo Blvd). read more

Pool is always too hot or too cold. Only 96 today. Absolutely no communication. Our entire class dress drove and came to gym for no classes. No notification and they have our roster electronically. No excuse. Front desk signed me in. No notification. Changed and we t to pool to find out from other members. Aquatic director sucks. She always makes excuses! No timelines given foe repairs. Front desk are always clueless with idk. Only only redeeming factor is Vicki our instructor. Beware go elsewhere. read more

Signed up with personal trainer and all was great until today. My trainer has moved to another location and told me EOS would assign a replacement trainer. I went today for my regular training and no trainer. When I ask the Fitness Manager (that's what his name tag says) Will M...deer in the headlights...what? Seems he has no clue who he is managing or their schedule. "come back later" NO, I've paid for the session so I request my money refunded and get a negative response but did cancel the Tuesday charge to my credit card. Kyle is on an unreal power trip. Both my fiancé and I are EōS members but were visiting my grandparents for the day. He has the most expensive membership at EōS and so we asked if I could be a guest pass. The girls said yes as a courtesy but Kyle stepped in and said that would be $20. So we left and I'm going to cancel my membership. I work in customer service and know there's always away to make the customer want to continue coming back but it's clear they don't care about the customers. read more

Been coming here awhile now. I've been at many other gyms in the past but there are some definite pros to this place that other gyms don't have, especially for the price. The gym is clean. I've gone at 6pm and 5am and have had no complaints of overfull trash cans or toilet paper or soap dispensers not being stocked, and locker rooms smell nice too. The showers work, the water fountains taste fine (I've read complaints that the water tastes like chlorine - I've not noticed that at all). And yes, it gets busy when everybody is getting out of work (another frequent complaint). I was surprised by the overall lack of meatheads I was expecting. While there are certainly some competitive lifters in the room, I haven't noticed any attitude or temper tantrums if you're using a piece of equipment. I've def seen that elsewhere. The eye candy is exceptional. I was told by my employer that they did not offer any incentives for a gym membership but EoS gave me their corporate discount because my employer qualified. So that was a nice perk. Staff are friendly and approachable, however I have to say they were pushy up front about personal training which I specifically asked them not to do, and when I initially set up my account, there was no mention of an annual fee. They mentioned the $1 fee to join (which was normally like $50), and the monthly fee. When asked about my first bill, the guy behind the counter was real snarky and said, "Every gym has one, you just pay it. You probably should have read the rules when you signed up." Well, actually not every gym has one; the last two I belonged to did not have one - they had the startup and the monthly. It wasn't even a big deal when I walked up I was just not expecting that fee. I have not yet been in the pool or sauna but likely will in the future. I also have not yet been to a class but if I end up going back in the afternoons I'm tempted to sign up. I really wish they had a shake bar. I'd be willing to pay for a high calorie, high protein homemade shake after a workout, including extras like adding peanut butter or fresh fruit. Instead they sell energy drinks which is a big no no if you know anything about cardiology. I miss not having that option. Other than that I just wish there was a location a little closer to me but the 15 minute drive isn't horrible. read more

Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I love the Denisha, she's kind,funny,fierce and always cleaning the place meticulously. She's the hardest working woman I know. And The pretty Asian girl is always so polite / cheerful. Overall, great atmosphere . Only thing is that leg curl machine needs a realignment cause that thang slanted. There are better places to spend your money for personal training. The trainers are okay but this company's business practices are deceptive and intentionally designed to extract as much money from you as possible.They sell open end contracts with no upfront disclosure unless you read carefully. They have a 30 day cancelation policy when you do try to stop the bleeding. Management has no authority to correct these practices and you can expect a miserable solution to any of their accounting errors : at your expense. Dealing with them is an unnecessary nightmare because their solutions are designed to take advantage of their customers. read more

I'm not a gym person but my kid loves the kids room here. The girls Elysia and Paige are absolutely fantastic with the kids and I don't feel like an awful parent for leaving them so I can watch my favorite show and walk for two hours. Honestly that's all I need for my peace of mind. As I mentioned I'm not a gym person, so I can't say much about the facilities besides the fact that they are clean, operational, and have everything I need (like a sauna). This is for the new location at Bell and I-17. We received a flyer in the mail showing a new gym in our area. As a family we all got in our best fitness wear and went to join only to find out it's far from open and the flyer was misleading. So in retaliation to bad business practices we drove to Planet Fitness and bought everyone black card memberships. Went in for a 7 day free trial. Met with sales rep Manie. He proceeds to ask me numerous questions about why I want to join a gym and my fitness goals. I respond by telling him that I want a cool place to work out when it's hot outside and my goals are to stay fit. He doesn't accept this as an answer and proceeds to ask me what do I mean by staying fit. I respond I want to stay healthy. Then he proceeds to ask me where I'm originally from. I tell him what does that have to do with anything. He tells me that he is "just getting to know me and that he doesn't have to give me a 7 day free membership". I say ok, good luck and leave the gym. I was just wanting to do a week trial to see if this gym was a good fit. I've worked out my entire life. I don't need any coaching. I felt like I was in court being cross examined by an attorney. Unnecessary, unprofessional and just flat out rude. With this type of sales person, good luck getting people to sign up! read more
