Fernando was great, and takes care of all our fire alarm needs. I have a fire detector that keeps going off, and Fernando went above and beyond to make sure issue was fixed. He was able to move the detector and clean out the whole heating system of dusk to ensure trouble system is not being triggered. I have been with Bellringer/ Briscoe services since 2001. The technical service has always been good but since the company was taken over by Pye-Barker dealing with the company is a nightmare. Trying to use their internet billing services is time consuming, fustrating and fraught with errors. The system insists that I am already signed up for payments which I am not. It won't allow me to create a password and repeatedly states I am to receive an email on resetting the password ( which I never created yet ) AND NO Email has ever arrived. No resolution to date and a yearly bill that is nearly double the Briscoe bills of just a few years ago!!! Furthermore just heard a recording that any call off hours starts @ a $600.00 charge. DEFINITELY TIME TO GET A NEW SECURITY SYSTEM.... read more

Do not use this company. They overcharge, don't complete the install, will not let you out of a contract with legal action, and will not release the system to the parent company. Horrible. read more

To Whom It May Concern: My wife and I have been satisfied customers of Briscoe Protective (originally GC Alarm) since 1992, and the events of last evening and this morning are a perfect example of why we are so satisfied! Last evening, at approximately 6:10, our keypad started beeping to alert us with "103 Long Range Radio". We had two similar experiences over the previous twelve months, and each time we were informed that either AT&T or Verizon was working on one of their towers - to which Briscoe, understandably, has no control. Unfortunately, the beeping last evening happened at least nine more times... Twice, once after the first time and again after the ninth time, I spoke with your very friendly and helpful (thank you!) Central Station employee, Debbie, who then submitted my problem online to Joe, your service manager...who very promptly called me back each time! During both conversations, Joe was the epitome of benchmark quality customer service - very patiently, efficiently, and effectively explaining all aspects of our LORRA central station service and, during our second conversation yesterday evening, walking me through the "bypass" keypad procedure to temporarily end the "beeps" until the "tower" issues were resolved. He was a great help!! I was planning a morning phone call today to your office re our LORRA problem, but Joe beat me to it - with an 8:45 am voicemail telling me that the LORRA problems had been resolved and that he'd be happy to walk me through the keypad protocols to have my system "speak" again to your central station! I called him...and we're back "live". HE called...and I didn't even have to call!! That was amazing...and I thanked him for ALL his help more than once - and I very much want to commend Joe to your entire management team for a job VERY well done!! His was five-star customer service!! I am very happy I highly recommended Briscoe to our daughter and son-in-law when they were thinking of switching their alarm company. They did! This company had taken over the accounts of another security company I had been with for many years (which itself, had taken over the original security company's accounts when the owner passed away). It was a very smooth transition with all my information & auto-payments easily continued. I recently needed a new (back-up) battery for my system. No problem! I had a maintenance contract in place. Wendy made every attempt to put me on the schedule ASAP, and the tech showed up a few days later, taking all of 10 minutes to replace & test the system. Easy Peasy! I was sent an invoice for the part with the ability to pay online (I did). I was in the process of putting in a new alarm and while the alarm system worked, it would not connect to my I-Phone app. This function was imperative to me. David literally spent in excess of 5 hours with me until he ultimately resolved the problem. David was extremely knowledgeable about the Briscoe security system, initially trying multiple avenues to resolve the issue himself and then proceeded to bring in other individuals where we ultimately resolved the issue through a collaborative effort lead by David. This company is horrible! I canceled my security with them months ago. (They would continue to increase my payments without a letter or a call). Of course when I canceled because I went with a more reputable and reasonably priced company, all of a sudden they have a "special" that they offered me. I canceled regardless. Over the last few months, I spoke with three different individuals; Jackie being the last one who APOLOGIZED and promised she would take care of the cancelation. A week later, I am still receiving emails from them telling me they are charging my card which I obviously had them blocked when I canceled. PS: their system didn't work half the time. My friend is having the same issues with them. They are harassing me and I have now involved BBB. read more
