The Generac 7171 wireless unit I was looking for was in stock and they were able to schedule the reasonably priced install to be completed within a couple weeks. The quality of the communication with them including Kelly in the office and the installation work and efforts of the owner Mike, electrician Anthony and team was exceptional. Mike and Anthony are both fully licensed master electricians and their attention to detail is very evident in their work in every way. Responses to any questions I had were handled in a very professional and thoughtful manner. On Sunday evening I decided to install a ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms but there's not fixture there. Jason responded quickly and after discussing, said they could get it done on the same day. John and his apprentice showed up at the earlier portion of the promised time. John checked out the garage and the bedroom along with the attic access, laid out for me what they were going to do, and got to work. The work was absolutely professional. We were concerned as we watched the technician and asked him how long he'd been with Flynn-Aire. He answered 8 months. ( for this level of expertise we paid $350) After a cursory check on our system the technician said everything was fine, and he left. Two hours later we went upstairs where to our horror water was dripping from the unit in our attic along the ceiling, onto our carpeting and into our chandelier. After two phone calls Flynn-Aire dispatched a second technician who glued the pipe that had been damaged by technician #1 and told us we would be contacted by Flynn since they had "a Sheetrock Guy" who could repair the damage. And then - crickets. No call from Flynn-Aire. Today is August 7, we have repeatedly called to speak to the owner, Bob Von Hagen, but he obviously has "Colleen" running interference and we have not heard from him. We have pictures to support our statement. We leave the decision on whether or not to use Flynn-Aire for your air conditioning needs to you. Count us as a former client.

He was described to me as a "straight-shooter" - and I found this to be a spot-on description. On my initial call Peter was able to guess-timate my needs (I also wanted installation of an emergency generator for the home) and what it would approximately cost for equipment and labor. If I was comfortable with proceeding he would come out to inspect the property and provide me a more detailed recommendation. He did not waste anytime and showed up as promised. After evaluating the gas and electrical setup in the house he provided me with a written estimate and directed me where to purchase the necessary generator (walked me through it). He explained the process from start to finish and was always available for questions and concerns. On the day of install his team arrived on time, very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. He worked well with the plumber (I guess he had to..it was his brother! also a true professional and gem to work with!). At the end of the job payment was exactly as estimated and time to complete on schedule. He even referred me to a service to ensure properly scheduled maintenance. Robert left my in-laws property a fire hazard waiting to happen. When having a second electrician come review and finish his work it was found that the state that the electrical system was left in would have caused at minimum a surge to the whole system causing several breakers to shut off and the possibility to start an electrical fire had anything been plugged into the unfinished work he left. I can only imaging what other elderly he has ripped off or left in a dangerous situation. I would not recommend this service provider to anyone with a complex issue. Will be filing a formal complaint with the licensing board of Suffolk.
