Years ago a company attempted to bead blast hard water deposits from our Pebbletec pool and spa. He…read moreleft about 20% of the white deposit saying "you just can't clean Pebbletec that well." He showed up with a small handheld pressure washer device and left so much microbead material in the pool that it chewed up my water pump vanes and pool sweep. Both had to be replaced. Well, Chris proved him wrong! He showed up in a big van with built-in equipment and cleaned the waterline and waterfall overflow making the pool look like new! His truck-mounted vacuum removed the majority of microbeads leaving leave our pool sweep and pump safe. Chris is polite, efficient, and hardworking. Definitely will be calling him back when it's time!

Ken is a godsend. My aging gas pool/spa heater suddenly quit and I called one of the "big name"…read morepool service companies serving Santa Barbara. They walked around the unit a couple of times, declared the unit unrepairable, and offered to replace it for $3500. Then I called Everclear and Ken and a technician were at my house within two days. They quickly isolated the problem (a failed igniter) and had the correct part on their truck. I was back in business within an hour. A couple of days later I found that the heater was firing up but wasn't getting up to the temperature I wanted. The technician came back the next day and fixed that by adjusting a control. Total cost for the two visits, the troubleshooting, the part (which even on Amazon goes for $70-130) and the repair labor was $300, which I found very reasonable and a lot better than $3500. Best yet is that in Everclear's estimation my heater still has 5 years of life left, or perhaps more. Just last week I have having a problem with my variable speed pool pump, which was running erratically and speeding up and down. I was worried that my pump might be failing -- a $2500 replacement job. Ken arrived promptly and within a few minutes found that my pool vacuum was letting too much air into the pump inlet line. He installed a new adjustable skimmer (a $75 gadget) and -- voila! -- problem solved. I am a new pool owner, having moved into a house with a pool about a year ago. Its great to now have Everclear as my one stop shop for pool issues.

I let the company know that there were cobwebs in between the larger basin of the pool and the Infiniti section and that the debris looked like it was from a week, not from four days ago. I asked another Pool professional to come over and take a look at it and he did and I decided to switch my service and I told Camarillo Pool that it was because I lost my job because I wanted it to end it cleanly without argument. What Camarillo with them where did is a common defensive move in service businesses: 1. Deflect - "We've never had complaints about Darrell." 2 itMinimize - "It's just wind debris." 3. Personalize - bringing up your job situation. 4. Blame the customer - implying I'm unreasonable. None of those address the actual issue: whether the service occurred. I asked them to come back and inspect themselves and to complete the service and then I'll pay the invoice. Otherwise I'm not paying and nor should I have to. This is not a way to conduct business and I am appalled that I've been told about the track record of one service member instead of my concerns and my request being addressed. What a joker e.
