I stumbled across this market when wandering through Fitzrovia one fine afternoon, looking for…read moresomething different to eat. By the time I'd reached Goodge Place, I'd walked in and out of more than a few chain shops, unable to find something which ticked both the 'affordable' and 'healthy' boxes.
Then I came across this market. I spied a salad stall, and decided to go for that. After all, it was pretty decently priced at £4 for a large box of sundried tomatoes, cous cous, aubergines, beans and other vegetables. To my surprise, the salad also came with a thick chunk of Turkish bread, which made it even better value for money.
There's an assortment of other stalls here as well - Mexican, Thai, falafels - and they're here Monday to Friday.
