    Baked chicken and raviolli

Coming from the US on a budget this place may seem a little on the pricey side to your Olive Garden experience. But if thats what you're looking for than this isn't the place. We enjoyed a bottle of rose, large mineral water, lasagna, raviolli with spinach and ricotta, and baked chicken. Our tab was about €50 and it was worth every cent. The food was fast seeing that it was already prepared (think deli style). They'll warm the food and plate it for you. I would highly recommend this place if you're traveling on a medium or higher budget or looking for a nice dinner.

Food was alright. I'm over the staff never wanting to acknowledge or serve me. I order in French and they still look at each other like "Why is she talking to us". Then they put my food in a box, tally the total, put the total on the box, then into a counter. (not even handed to me) Then the server walks away and I pick up the receipt to put the money on the counter and leave. No wonder this place is always empty.

Locals suggested we check out the Montmartre neighborhood, and for a change, we decided to try out…read morethe Italian food. Every restaurant setup around this neighborhood felt romantic and had a hole-in-the-wall feel to it. Pebble stone streets elevated that effect. We walked-in around eight when the place was packed and were politely told to return in 30 mins which is when we were promptly seating on our very cozy table. Service was top-notch the minute we walked in this kid-friendly place. Our order was Burrata con parma o verdure, Risotto alle capesante, and Linguine Pollo e Funghi. Food arrived within 30-mins of ordering, and noise levels were on the lower end. Friendly staff, excellent service, and an on-the-house dessert left us very happy and pleased with the overall experience! Highly recommended!

Excellent small restaurant that's an offshoot of the bigger Ristorante al Caratello right across…read morethe street. It's more intimate, but I think has essentially the same menu (and you can also order pizza from Pizza Caratello next door). We came here twice (because it was so close to our hotel, and we enjoyed it so much the first time). I got the Rigatoni Amatriciana the first time, which was cooked to a perfect al dente and tasted great. The second time, I got a Pizza Napoletana, which was also excellent -- really nice crust. For dessert, I got the Flute Limoncello, which was very refreshing, especially given how warm a day it was. Service was very friendly and attentive. I heard a lot of Italian being spoken by staff, so it seemed pretty legit. I would highly recommend this place over the nearby Le Chinon, in terms of food and service.

I stumbled across it for the first time last May on vacation and was blown away. The place is small and cozy - and located down a cute residential street in Montmartre so away from the crowds. I hesitate to write this review as once this is discovered it'll be tough to get a table, but it's heartbreaking to walk a couple blocks away after a delicious meal and see the crowds eating at the many tourist restaurants in Montmartre totally oblivious to the culinary perfection so nearby! Now on to the food - I came here first last May and had Pesto Penne which I have dreamed about ever since then. Back in Paris again in January, I returned to have a squid ink spaghetti creation that I'm not sure can ever be topped. I love Italian food and have spent a lot of time in Italy and it's my go-to food in the U.S., and this restaurant is simply the best. Finally, the owner is incredibly awesome! He comes out to our table with a handwritten menu and explains all the dishes - everything is handmade and perfect! I wish I could give this 1,000 stars, seriously. If you are staying in Montmartre (or anywhere in Paris) you owe it to yourself to come here!!!!
