Pomodoro

I couldn't be happier that we decided to stop by here for dinner one night. Our party of 2 did not have a reservation, but this wasn't a problem and we were warmly greeted. Our server didn't speak any English and my French is limited, but she was so kind. The menu was in English. The food was excellent. We started with a sautéed vegetable salad. I loved it so much, I've recreated it at home. It was served in a crispy tortilla shell and had a generous portion of pine nuts on top. It was big enough for 2 or 3 people to share. The pizzas looked delicious, but we both opted for pastas. The portions are quite large. The sauce on the spaghetti pomodoro was fresh with chunks of tomatoes and fresh basil. I'm already wondering when I'll get back to Paris so I can stop into this lovely restaurant.

Linguini and clams

Il Seguito was a great find close to my Hotel in the Bastille Section of Paris. I was extremely pleased with the Menu and Service. Simple appetizers, Pasta, Pizza and a handful of entrees are offered. The pasta my wife and I had were excellent! The carbonara I had was terrific albeit not traditional, the sauce was heavier and likely contained heavy cream....nonetheless I cleaned my plate.....the pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente. My wife has the Linguini in clam sauce, again not quite traditional but it was delicious....the garlic was smashed and not chopped or sliced fine and the sauce contained a splash of white wine. The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente. For dessert my wife I split the restaurants special assortment which included an expresso, fruit salad, tiramisu, ice cream and panne cote with a wonderful fruit compote which was the perfect way to finish our meal. At 40 euro it was a fantastic deal. If in the area check them out.

The food is very good and authentic. The pasta is homemade and fantastic. We had the pasta with salmon and pasta with pecorino cheese and were delicious. The Caesar salad is shareable and nice drink selection.

Excellent food and service! Would definitely eat here again! This was an easy walk from the Moxy Bastille.

The best food I've had on my trip!!! The risotto was incredible. Going back tomorrow, and I'm already thinking of how I'm going to miss this place back in the states.

We stopped in on a Tuesday night for a family dinner. Me, my wife and 11 and 13 year is old sons. What a pleasant surprise! My wife's risotto al marinara with seafood was a big hit, while mu kids pizza had them squirming with happiness. My Penne con Parmigiana con Bresaola was delicious. On top of all else, the parmesan cheese was the tastiest i have ever had. On top of all else the service was very pleasant and attentive. A must re-visit for our next stop on in Paris.

This place is legit! We were tired of eating French traditional cuisine so we looked for a place…read morethat was good and not too far from where we were saying in La Villette. We settled on Ober Mamma, which had wonderful reviews. We got there, there was a line and it was raining. the chances of having a sit-down meal at this packed place were grilled, until they gave us the opportunity to sit outside. We immediately jumped not he opportunity, and immediately ordered. Franchesco came out with his wide happy smile and took our order. He a delight to have wait on us. We ordered the mortadella with pieces of parmigiano, a Smoking Hot pizza, and La Fameus Pate a la Truffe. We also ordered a nice bottle of wine from Sicily, Franchesco's homeland. The pizza and the pasta came out first, and we started eating right away. The pizza had the right amount of heat, and the pasta was not overwhelmed with truffles. Then came the mortadella which was delicious. We would have preferred the mortadella first, but we happy ate it. Inside, the place is huge, and loud. The ambiance is modern and feels upscale. As with all places in Europe, the temperature inside was hot- so we were actually happy to be sitting outside. Luckily we were not getting wet under the awning, but it was cold. Luckily, this place also provides blankets for your legs which we happily used. At the end of our meal, Franchesco brought us some Lomoncello and hung out with us telling us about Italy & France. We had an amazing evening, great food, and even better company. Give this place a try. You will not be sorry.

Open kitchen concept where you can see the chefs happily cooking or cooking all stressed out lol. Our server was Izaya very friendly, well spoken and caring. He ensured our allergies were taken care of. He was fast with his service and continuously checked up on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Now food, mama Margherita pizza was freshly made so you have to really wait it out before taking a bite to ensure you don't burn your mouth. Pizza was evenly baked and crust was even yummy. Mozzarella cheese bites were the winner of the evening. So good the crumbs that covered the cheese were just wow. So tasty we ordered 3 servings of it. We ordered a small salad which was a generous portion for all of us. Good variety of wine list and very reasonably priced. Tiramisu was one of the dessert options and every bite met all our expectations. Overall great experience here they do squeeze a lot of people in there so you could be elbowing your neighbor on another table.

Marzo - Sharing a pizza with my sister. Appreciate that they cut it in half for us! Also, the chilli oil was the best I've ever had.

Very cute ambience and, most importantly, delicious food. A little pricey (average for that area really) but very much worth it. The grilled vegetable & mozzarella appetizer was also a stand out. This all happened tonight when we visited for dinner. I ordered 4 appetizers and 3 pizzas. One appetizer was like a salad on top of ham. I was enjoying it when I bit down on something extremely hard that felt immediately like a tooth broke. I spit out a small gray object that looked liked glass or a piece of rock... more like glass that has layers and shine. Immediately my tongue starts feeling around and I feel a jagged edge on my upper back tooth that was never there. I immediately informed the closest person who was possibly a busboy or server named Louis I think. He asked me for the piece I bit into and I gave it to him without thinking I needed to take a photo of it. He took it to the back and threw it away! So he says it must have been a "nut". Obviously it was not a nut and the salad doesn't even have nuts in it! The staff... the man, the waitress, and the other server all as polite as can be start ignoring any of my requests to retrieve the piece I bit into and my requests to talk to a manager. It felt like they were laughing at my situation because every time I asked them a question, they would go talk to each other and laugh and would not answer the questions I was asking. Unhappy at not getting any sympathy from them or an apology, I finally asked them for more information about filing a claim for repairing my broken tooth and the server named Alice (I think... my French is bad), gave me the email address of someone to contact for Human Resources. They offered to have their insurance pay for any treatment so I guess I will take them up on it. I will update my review once they get back to me.
