This didn't quite hit as much as I wanted it to. Maybe because I had high expectations after my friend sang high praises of it being very cutesy with good food. Or it could be that we got their last reservation for the night and they were rushing through our experience. Either way, the experience fell flat and was just okay. Now, I'm not 100% sure if the speakeasy is a part of pink mamma but it was definitely the best part of the experience. We arrived early and were told that our table would be ready once the other guests were done paying. We were directed to a speakeasy downstairs to have a drinks while we waited. We headed to the basement and were offered a table as soon as we walked in, despite it being pretty packed, but we told them we would just sit at the bar since our reservation was in less than 30 mins. We ordered pornstar martinis and chatted it up with the super friendly bartenders. The pornstar martinis were sooo good! I wanted to keep ordering more but (foolishly) opted against it, thinking I would have the same drink upstairs at dinner. Man were those a fail. The service at dinner was very subpar. Our server didn't even introduce himself and just seemed very rushed. As soon as he began taking our order and we had questions between multiple items, he just said he would give us more time and walked away. No offering to help us decide by explaining or making suggestions. Drinks: margarita and pornstar martinis - both were a solid 3/5 at best. Even the color was completely off compared to the ones from the speakeasy. The reservation system doesn't let you select a floor, and the staff wasn't able to accommodate requests due to the high volume of guests. The atmosphere is nice and cute as we were seated on the top floor. It was incredibly loud though.
