They have frozen meat (beef, chicken, pork), dairy, eggs (sometimes), lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, ready-made meals, canned goods, dry food, dessert, and more. Since their model is based on donations, you never know what you're going to get- but that's part of the fun. I love seeing what unusual vegetables and fruits they have. The volunteers are great, and they help new clients figure out the store's layout. They're always available to answer questions. Most of the volunteers only speak English, but a few are fluent (at least at a conversational level) in Spanish and other languages. There is a line, so be prepared to wait awhile. The volunteers set up tents to cover people in line if it's raining. I definitely recommend going here if you are struggling to afford food. It's a lifesaver. It's 100% free to use and doesn't have income barriers.
