After 10+ years of coming here, our family is leaving. They are now a part of WNY Dental Group. Our first visit after the takeover ended with blatant discrimination towards my family where the dentist and billing staff demanded I produce proof that my children actually belonged to me. Because, people just randomly bring random kids in and pay for dental work! This had more to do with our family being multi-racial than anything else. The dentist, herself, confirmed that this was not a requirement of every parent just the families who look "different". Blatant discrimination. Of course, these questions weren't asked until they had our insurance info for billing purposes. And they weren't asked until the kids' cleanings were done. Which makes it more than obvious that this is not the standard procedure! Looking forward to finding a new office to give business to! 6 months and our records still haven't been sent to our new dentist. Stay away! read more

I'm updating as to my situation with billing. I was called three separate times, and so was my father, from Q Dental trying to collect on my bill. Each time we both explained the situation, and were told somebody would get back to us on Monday. After repeating ourselves over five times to the collections/billing department, somebody finally got back to us and said "well, she signed a paper saying she would pay so we're not at fault, sorry". When we explained that I was not told the true amount, and what I was told was simply an estimate, they said that's not their fault. I would like to know how Q Dental not telling me that the $50 I paid was only an estimate is magically my fault. I explained numerous times that I was told that the bill would only be $50. I even asked TO MAKE SURE that I wouldn't be getting an unexpected bill. Q Dental would not own up to their mistake and now I'm suffering for it. I even asked if they'd be willing to pay for only half of it due to their mistake...I got a quick "no" on that. Unbelievable. I will be canceling my next cleaning and taking my business elsewhere. It's very sad, seeing as I did like my dentist, Dr. Enterline. I'm extremely disappointed in the professionalism displayed by Q Dental, and cannot believe I have to actually pay $300+ for a night guard I was told was only $50. I'm a great client, I always come on time, and I've never missed paying ANY of my bills. Just completely out of this world...what a scam!! I'd take them to small claims court, but I'm so fed up with the incompetence and blatant lies I'd rather just pay to never deal with them again! When my husband went for the first time, he showed up for his appointment and they had no record of it. They made time to see him anyhow. Whereas for me, I got a notice saying I missed my appointment, two weeks before the time I had it scheduled. So... the scheduling is unreliable. When my husband went, the hygienist told him that "once the doctor sits down, it's hard to get him back up to see a patient." So she put my husbands paperwork under the doctor's glasses so he'd be sure to see it, and that "usually works" to get him to get up and do the exams. That's just weird. It's weird that it's true, and it's weird that she said it. Last week, I went in for my cleaning. I was overdue for x-rays. I explained that my husband and I are trying to conceive and that we needed to wait on the x-rays in case I was pregnant. The doctor was EXTREMELY RUDE to me, refused the exam in its entirety, got up and walked out of the room. We are going to find another dentist now. read more

When I went to Q dental today for a toothache Q dentist took an x-ray exam the tooth then told me it will cost me $2500.00 to fix the tooth then Q dental charge me $78.00 to tell me that meanwhile I am still in pain and they don't even care all they care about that you pay your bill... I told and I'm in pain and he still wouldn't do anything even if I was willing to pay for it they just do not care. read more

I'd like to give this minus stars. I feel this place was a scamming establishment when it was Q Dental. Now that they have joined Western New York Dental is is as bad if not worse. They institute policies and never notify patients and then have the nerve to get nasty when a patient comes in, is notified and gets upset. I worked here years ago when it was Q Dental and decided then I'd never even take a dog there. At that time, in my opinion, they always "added on" things that weren't necessary to pad the bill. The staff is mostly the same, just changed names. You'd be better off going to a clinic than to this poor excuse of an establishment. I'm going to concur with the other reviews I'm reading, DO NOT use this office, took my son, had appointment....ended up waiting WAY over the time scheduled, then when he was brought in they gave us our treatment options. We made our choice which they went totally against, which I was unaware of as my father had to bring him for the follow up appointment. They ended up paying $$ they shouldn't have had to and when I questioned them...oh you signed though! They wrote down a different treatment option that me being in a hurry and not reading thoroughly signed. Then the kicker??!!?? told them never again would we use their office, 6 months later,....phone calls trying to get him to schedule his maintenance cleaning!!! AND more than one phone call. Now that they're WNY Dental, such a "big" practice and only 2 available oral surgeons and only available between 9-2pm on specific days. read more

Don't go there. Their Dentist and specialist are inexperienced and try to over charge you money on things that your insurance don't cover instead of letting you know. You get the bill then have to dispute it with them and it happens over and over again and don't miss an appointment that's another outrages fee. I had a root canal done and it turned black and broke off while eating. I had one done at Strong dental and no problem. I'm taking my business else where. read more

I went in on April 29 with a toothache. They did x-rays and told me I would need to come back for a consultation with the specialist. That appointment wasn't until May 18, three weeks later. I received an automated confirmation that my appointment was for 2 PM. A week later I received another electronic notice that my appointment was moved until 4 PM and that I should press the letter C to confirm. I did so. On the day of my appointment I received another notice that my appointment was moved to 1:30 PM. I did not confirm this appointment because I was not available. So I arrived at 3:50 and the receptionist looked up at me and said I'll have to wait a few minutes because she was busy on the phone which is understandable, when I told her I had an appointment at four, she said we don't have you logged in for an appointment and besides we close at four. I then showed her the text I received from Q dental she proceeded to show them to her manager and she came back and just repeated that I missed my appointment at 1:30 she was really sorry. I said what about the texts, and she replied I don't know where they came from we have a new system but you missed your appointment at 1:30. She said "I can check the specialists schedule and make you a new appointment if you want." I reminded her I waited three weeks for this appointment and it was only a consultation and yet I have a toothache. She couldn't care less and just kept repeating that I missed my 130 appointment of which I continue to remind them that they changed it to four. Understand this was only a consultation and they were going to have to schedule me for yet a third appointment to have the tooth actually removed. In the meantime I'm paying for each visit. Needless to say stay as far away from this company as you can they are horrible and that receptionist should brush up on her people skills. I wish there was some kind of board I could report them to because this is just cruel and unusual. read more

My whole family has been patients of Q Dental for a few years now. The past couple of times they have been rude and really unpleasant to deal with. I lost a filling and after about a year finally took a day off to go get it fixed. Made the appointment after explaining the whole thing to the lady on the phone. 7:00AM on my day off mind you. Arrive for the appointment to see Godzilla the nurse. Apparently they booked my appointment with the "other" doctor and he was not my "normal" doctor. Nothing we can do for you. He WILL NOT help you. Make a new appointment with your own dentist. Didn't know I had a specific one...Don't even know his name. Needless to say still have a hole in my mouth.......So done with being treated like dirt. They are VERY RUDE people. read more

If you have need of a dentist I don't recommend Q Dental. I stopped going to Q Dental at the Buffalo Road location over eight years ago because they suck. I've been trying to get my husband to stop going well I think he will now. Today was the second time the dentist has canceled only this time 50 minutes before the appointment. My husband has an infection in the root of his tooth he's been in agony for months. The doctor has posted his appointment. Today he asked why his appointment was canceled and the excuse was oh the dentist doesn't have a certain thing that he needs for this surgery. I believe the nice weather is the real reason. The last time was nice weather also we have had crappy weather most of the summer. read more

I was called by Q Dental and told that my Insurance has canceled and that I would have to give them the new information of insurance. I explained that I upgraded to a better policy with the same company and that I didn't have time at the moment to give her the new infro. and that I would call her back. She (Andra) said that my appointment would be canceled unless I gave her the Infro. now. Well Iv'e been with Q dental for over 15 years and I love my Dentist Dr. Yorkel but I have decided to find a new practice that's not so rude when calling it's customers. read more

I am VERY disappointed in the way Q Dental handled our refund. They were very quick to take my money for my daughter's wisdom tooth extraction, but then gave me the run around about returning money to me. Our insurance copay ended up being less than what they charged me and they have done nothing but lie about when the "check was cut." Now I have to go to the corporate office to get my refund. Funny how these places take your money without a blink of an eye and then give you a hard time about returning it. I wish i could give them 0 stars, but I had to choose 1. I called them to have my 10 year old come in for an emergency dental appointment for a cracked tooth and swollen gums and they scheduled me for today. I go in and they do the teeth cleaning, but tell me I have to make an appointment for the filling and if his cracked tooth is still in his mouth they would just pop it out. Their 1st appointment was January 10th and I don't as a parent feel comfortable to wait until January 10th to have an absess build up because of the cracked tooth they will just "pop" out on that day. I am going to look for a new dentist that isn't so cracker jackish and would recommend that any new patient do the same. read more

Been going to Q Dental for many years. Recently service and atmosphere has gone done hill. I will be changing dental practices.
