Went to apt was told it was a consultation, no money needed. I didn't complete the 55 million page new patient forms I figured I would fill them in at the office and the morning of my appointment they called me and told me I needed to fill them out before I came. I asked them then how much the appointment was and they told me it was a free consultation only to get there and be charged for a comprehensive visit would not even a basic visit was done. The doctor was in and out of the room within minutes and left charting to his assistant. I told the front desk that it was a consultation and of course the woman didn't know what I was talking about even though she talked to me that morning. I paid in since I had the doctor's email I emailed the doctor let him know what was going on he said he'd give me the money back. He never did a month goes by I email again he ignores the email. Finally I get in touch with the bank after I show them proof. The bank pays me back. Once the bank gets in touch with the dentist that is when they get back to me. I shouldn't have to call the bank to get my money or be ignored or waste my time to come in for a money grab. You're not even able to make your own appointments they tell you when you can and can't come. Not accommodating, nobody knows what they're talking about, they will ignore you if they owe you money. It was an experience I could do without. When looking for a dentist you want to make sure you have faith and trust and if they can accommodate a consultation or bill you for the correct services from the start, You have to question Do you trust them with the rest! read more

The quality of care is outstanding. However, despite having 5 receptionists, reaching out to any human is nearly impossible. Nobody ever answers the phone. read more

Do not bother calling if you are a senior citizen on a Medicare Advantage plan. You will be told to look elsewhere.

Hygienist was very rough on my gums. Sore for hours. Unnecessary. Not very caring toward the patient/victim.

I was referred to Cornerstone Dental by a friend when I had a toothache. My previous dentist retired and I had not found a new dentist yet. I called and they offered me an appointment for the same day. I was able to pre-print the paperwork from their website to bring in (no rushing or chaos when you arrive.) --- loved this! Everything worked out better than expected. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable - from the first phone call I made until checking out after my appointment. The staff worked together seamlessly and professionally. I was treated as if I had been going there for years. I was given all of the information about treatment plans and they took the time to go through them with me. I was treated with respect, given all information to make a decision and received excellent care. My children now have a new dentist as well. read more

Not many people can say they are excited about going to the dentist, but when you go to Cornerstone Dental, I bet you will say it! I started going to Cornerstone Dental when I was 21, after I received my 4th letter in the mail from my pediatric dentist congratulating me on being over 18, hinting it was time to go to an adult dentist. Since this was close to my work at the time iIfigured I'd give it a go. At the time I didn't have dental insurance and I was a broke college student, so I was nervous about cost. After inquiring about my bill, I was really happy to see how reasonable their service was. I also loved the fact that they have TV's for you to watch while you are getting a cleaning! The office is very clean and spacious. Their staff is always smiling and happy! I have also dealt with their accounts receivables employee several times and she always is so patient and kind. My current dental insurance had all my information messed up so it was a nightmare for her to deal with, but she never once acted frustrated or annoyed. I can't say enough about Cornerstone Dental. Beyond a terrible experience. I went in for a chipped front tooth. It looks worse then it did before I went in. It wasn't smoothed around any of the edges so literally snags on everything. Dr valerio also put the filling so close to my other front tooth and rounded it, it is bigger than it was and my other tooth so it stands out. I can't floss because it snags on the filling that was never evened or smoothed. It had cracks which weren't covered. Plus he NEVER CORR MATCHED THE FILLING so all you see is the patch on MY FRONT TOOTH. Its embarrassing to smile, so I don't. I have to have it already done again removed and redone which is going to put more stress on an already fractured tooth which I believe I am forced now to deal with just being stuck with this embarrassing filling. To top it off I was overcharged and for the past eight months I've been trying to get the money back with no replies to emails, calls back or voicemails. Quick to take the money but they don't want to know nothing when it's time to give back what they overcharged. I wouldn't have even charge for this horrendous job anyway. I searched and searched for two months till I found what I thought was going to be the perfect dentist to give me my smile back and confidence. Read great reviews so I put my trust in them and I would have been better off going into a back alley with someone with some Putty. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I've been trying to get this rectified for 8 months and I'm done with it. read more

I continue to enjoy going to the dentist at cornerstone dental. The staff are friendly and you are informed of each step before it is completed. If you are not sure of what is going on they take the time to explain it. They make every attempt to make you comfortable but X-rays cannot be smoothed over but the words that they use while attempting to make you comfortable let's one understand that they understand you are in pain and they rush that part of the process. When they find something concerning they are all over it making sure to address it and send you to the right place to address that issue. The only way cornerstone dental could be better is if they offered drinks afterwards or if the service was free. I recommend cornerstone dental to anyone looking for a dentist and one more thing their hours are great and the wait time is minimal read more

I put off going to the dentist after a horrific experience. I had heard alot of nice things about Cornerstone so I thought even though they are out of network for my insurance I would give it a try. Wonderful, caring doctors and staff. I see Dr. Mark who has a great sense of humor and explains every move that he will make. He is always concerned about your comfort and your pain level. Highly recommend him if you have teens because he has children of his own and knows how to relate. Teresa my dental hygienist is thoughtful and caring and does a through job cleaning my teeth. Wonderful sweet lady who I have come to love. I like the fact that this office is professional and does not keep you waiting. This was the primary reason that I switched dental offices after being a patient else ware for twenty years. This office is concerned about the patients time and schedule. I needed to find a new dentist. I checked YELP and choose Cornerstone. I was able to get an appointment the next day with Dr. Mark. Everyone at the office was friendly. Dr. Mark did an extraction and I was very pleased with the outcome, at the time & once the novacane wore off. I.e. Didn't feel like I was punched in the face. The pricing is fair. Hey Rochester, I want you to know that Dr. Agostinello at cornerstone dental is in my opinion New Yorks greatest dentist. My every visit to him has been a great experience. I never feel ANY pain! Visits to previous doctor's have been painfully Scarry. Dr. Agostinello is gentle. Don't be intimidated by his tall stature, he's as gentle as anyone could possibly be. If you're afraid of the dentist you ought to consider going to him at cornerstone dental. I just wanted to give the doctor his well deserved props. Not only is he the greatest, he's also fast. Ammmmaaazzinnnngg!! No really. I am not just saying that because I came from Asp** Dental :'-( Lol. The staff is amazing. The availability is phenomenal. The office is clean and comfortable. They even call you in at your exact appointment time. You will rarely if ever be waiting more than a couple minutes past your appointment time. (I think I did once by 5 minutes no big deal). Dr. Dan is awesome. I have a friend w 3 children who took the kids to another dentist who said they needed 6 cavities. Cornerstone did a second opinion for her and felt he needed just 2. So far I have been able to have all of my and my families dental needs taken care of "under one roof" - I like not having to be referred to other specialist. Have been going to this dentist (Dr. Dan) for over 30 years and with his help I have been able to keep my teeth and am just now having issues. Am older and most have already lost all of their teeth. Diane is a great person to have your teeth cleaned for she has helped me save what I have left. Everyone is wonderful in this office............ you are in pain they will get you right in. We do not know what a treasure we have here in Rochester NY! Trust me for I am in Fort Myers Fl. for 9 months out of the year and fly back just to have things taken care of here in Rochester. read more
