Sad sad sad! The owner went on vacation and all of a sudden everyone was "too busy for regulars". I was HIGHLY recommended by the receptionist to use a new girl and I did! Oh My God what a shit show! The girl did such a bad job! I sat there for 4 hrs!! Finally left and my eyes got worst the next morning! Glue in my eyes, and CLUMPS! They offered to "fix" them but AT THEIR CONVENIENCE AT END OF DAY!!!!! I have been a regular for the last three years! Every two weeks! This is so tacky and I'm so pissed about the entire experience! I can say I have never walked out of a lash studio without eye redness or eye tearing but I did with Q Lash Beautique! Yeah no. Does it matter which lash tech you get? Of course it does. I was there 2 hours because Amy glued my right eye lash clumped so much that she was attempting to separate them. If you've had lash extensions before you know anything over an hour is not a good sign. Are they nice and friendly kinda yes but did they acknowledge my lashes were a fail? Nope. The owner did attempt to correct but she had her own client so she didn't have time to fix my lashes that looked like they were doing a peace sign. And it's not a spa feel you literally hear lots of foreign language and customers coming in and out. They even asked why are you here your lashes look good? So I guess they put a limit on the characters so you can't expose them! I went here for 2 years getting beautiful lashes by Lily. I would get refills every 3-4 weeks and it wasn't until almost 5 months later I came in for a refill but for hygiene purposes I required a new set, which i understand but they could have told me in advance, all of a sudden i started to notice the same thing the woman who listed in the last review! I was literally scared to touch the lashes bc like she said if you blinked you would loose 3-4 lashes!! Washing the lashes SUPER GENTLY WOULD LEAVE THE BRUSH COVERED IN LASHES FROM THE FALL OUT!! I literally tried every tech and even the owner but I also noticed the change in the type of lash they are using.. these new lashes are STRAIGHT AF!! And VERY STIFF!! They even had the nerve to make me think it was something I was doing wrong!! They said not heat whatsoever! WE LIVE IN FUCKN HOUSTON!! It's literally over 100 degrees on a normal day.. for over 6 months they drained me of a couple thousand dollars for removals and new sets plus TIPS!! Now I get it!! It's a scam!! They are using cheaper products internally so they make more money!! I WAS REFERRED TO THEM BY 5 people . Word of mouth is everything. They made me so depressed suggesting I give my lashes a break bc it was an issue with my lashes.. I gave them one last chance and when I got in the car and saw how straight they were, which is another issue I will get to in a minute, that is when my mind was made! I HAVE TO FIND A NEW LASH TECH BC IM BEING LIED TO!!! THESE ARE NOT WHAT MY LASHES USED TO LOOK LIKE!! So the other issue i noticed at the same time of the lashes completely falling out in LESS THAN A WEEK!! WAS THEY HAD ABSOLUTELY NO CURL.. I'm sure everyone who gets extensions knows unless you like the look IT IS A HIGE DIFFERENCE AND NOT AT ALL WHAT US GIRLS ARE WANTING!! We want long beautiful FULL curled lashes!! On top of that I would always walk out with 1 eye fuller than the other.. and no.. it wasn't the same eye!! Even the tech says that's weird bc we usually see this if the person sleeps on that side and the pillow can mess them up.. and how the hell are all the center part of my lashes gone? They said they never seen that before either.. I was so trusting of them it never crossed my mind they were ripping me off for my money!! Long story short my daughter had been telling me for the whole 6-8 months to go to her lash tech.. mind u I live in Baytown so I would drive 2-3 hours total to go to this lash studio.. I trusted them so much i refused to use another lash tech.. sure enough when I walked out with straight lashes, brand new set, paid $150, LOOKED LIKE I NEEDED A REFILL RIGHT THEN AND THERE!! I was so upset j just drove away and vowed to never go back.. I tried my daughter's lash tech and OMFG!!!! I even cried!! Also it is literally 3 minutes from my house.. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY LASHES NOW!!! Well I had an emergency flight to catch and my tech was out of town, otherwise she will stay till 9pm or open early, anything to accommodate you!! So I said what the hell im sure they have had enough complaints to have fixed the issue by now so I went to them and had high hopes but as soon as I got in the car there was 3 lashes on my lap and 1 eye less full.. I wasn't trying to ruin my day so I just left.. I called them a few days later with only a few lashes on each eye!! They said no refunds but they would be willing to do a refill!!! Why would I want to drive 3 hours to get lashes for 4 days??? I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR IM REPORTING YOUR COMPANY TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!! Please everyonewe work hard for our money!! DONT SUPPORT A SCAMMER!! Support the smaller businesses that care about their customers! I'm going to attach my lash tech's card. This is probably been the best lash studio I've ever visited in Houston. Despite the many staff turnovers I have supported since I was first introduced. However there has been an extreme decline in customer service over the last few months, despite the lack of using a proper scheduling system, I always try to adhere to my appointment times and give a heads up if an emergency comes up. In this case it is more than 48 hours away from my appointment and I am trying to see if I can possibly come another day in the event my virtual doctor's appointment I have ran over 4:00 p.m. I realize there was no room for flexibility I decided I would take my doctor's appointment in the parking lot of this business and be on time for my appointment. Regardless if I am a continued supporter or even a new potential client threatening to cancel my appointment without proper resolution was completely inconsiderate and unprofessional. As you can see here communication in regards to my appointment is only through text messages, I have been coming on time to my appointments for a while now sometimes while Quyen is still servicing the previous client I never complained I wait patiently for her to start my services. I never in a million years would have expected to be treated in this manner but also refused service over a conversation that can be easily misconstrued because it is being had via text messages. Because I am not allowed to answer my phone while at work, I sent a message to cancel this week's appointment and I expressed how disheartened I felt due to the customer service that I received, in response I was then told I can no longer be a customer of this business. I have been a loyal client not only because of my gratitude towards the artist, but I have sent tons of people to this studio because of the quality of work that I have grown to appreciate over the years. I am very saddened that I have been turned away as a permanent client because people do not know how to conduct proper communication for this business I wish in the future that she obtains staff that knows how to efficiently advocate her scheduling and properly communicate with her clients in the future. I have never been problematic however I am witness to say this seems as if it is becoming a trend amongst the African-American clientele that visits this studio. Tech didn't separate my lashes individually before application, and now my lashes are gone. The owner defended her tech, then offered to do mine herself if I wasn't comfortable with one of her techs. I declined because if she is going to defend one of her techs for not doing something so basic as separating each lash individually, I definitely don't trust her. I've had lashes done for 3 years, I recognize proper technique when it's done correctly, and this place is not it. Beware! read more
