Did you know Q-Masters in the largest billiards hall in the United States?! The place is huge on the inside and so well kept. There's a private, quiet, VIP room for more serious players but so many tables throughout the space. Gary is a gem of a human and a social butterfly with all his customers. Even as an amateur pool player I felt at ease in this space. And I know this might be weird to say but the bathrooms at Q-Masters are so cute! You can tell someone put a lot of thought into making this a welcoming space. The food prices can't be beat and the burgers are amazing. My personal fav so far is the Rodeo burger but I hope to try every burger on the menu at least once. Finally, Q-Masters has specials all the time to accommodate the community. Date night, troop Tuesday, family days! This is an establishment that is for the people and I love it!

Some friends and I went here last night for a going away bash for one of our co-workers. This is the second time I've been - and on a Saturday night I have to say this place was really poppin. They have atleast 25 plus pool tables - 7 or 9 foot - your choice- spread out perfectly - a huge amount of tables to sit at and enjoy food and drinks while you play pool. I noticed they have signs all around about pool leagues, specials (Friday night ladies play for $5) and family night. All very cool! We got there around 10pm and there was a wait for a table - as expected- they told me an hour but I think it was actually only 30 minutes - it was enough time for the rest of our party to get there and me to get to the bar and order a few drinks. The drink menu - absurd!!!!! So many choices!!! And the food also! My daughter ordered a cinnamon sugar pretzel and I went straight for a Scooby snack, an oatmeal cookie and a flight of bourbon (I was set to get drunk y'all) ... for all that only $22. (Which is crazy! Considering we just came from Yardhouse where they wanted $20 for one bourbon- who pays $20 for one shot of bourbon??) Anyways... we got our table .. 2 actually pretty quick - a party of 10- as soon as we got set up an awesome waitress came around and took our drink orders and took the best care of us for the rest of our time there. The vibe was perfect - a lot of different people there to play pool and have fun. They have juke box to play music, a selection of pool sticks you can buy, plus shirts and hoodies, etc. bathrooms are clean , all the staff were very nice. If I didn't have to have a job paying over $20 I would definitely love to work there! Will definitely be going back. We had a great time!

Had a great time here with my fitness crew ET Bros!! Went here on Thursday and it was Great deal of $5 for unlimited play till 3pm. Place is clean and staff is welcoming! For someone that has never played pool before I never felt intimidated

I was going to give this place a four star but due to me being behind on my reviews, I actually visited this place for a second time with my friends again since we had a great experience the first time. When we entered the building to get a table the guy that was working the front desk looked at us and ignored us and kept talking. I waited awkwardly for a good 10mins before getting help. Mind you I have social anxiety and it's out of my comfort zone to interrupt someone's conversation especially with a group of people. We eventually got our table he was so rude, I feel like he's just there for a paycheck and not the type of person who would go above and beyond to help you. Other than that for $10 a person and free nights for military on Tuesday and Sunday I believe man that's a great deal. The drinks are ok not overly priced, the food does need some work though I don't think it was even at the fast food level. The facility was nice and clean they have a lot of tables available for everyone and I'm definitely coming back even with that awkward situation.

The gentleman who wanted to relegate us to the back.

"Just Don't Walk Out on Me" Those were the words from my waitress at Qmaster Billiards in Virginia Beach after a few minutes of our first interaction. Black people. Apparently she has had problems with our "type" before. Let's. Begin. I will tell this story in four unexpected but important chapters. CHAPTER ONE. We enter. Parlor is fairly empty. The person at the front desk says. Ummm. It's a little busy tonight. We are going to put you right beside the bar in the back. Despite the fact that there were 3 open tables in the front. Ummm. I said. We would like to sit up front. He obliged. "Thank you" we said. Unwary of what would happen in Chapters 2 through 4. Chapter TWO. After waiting at least 3 games without service. Thirsty. I approach the bar asking for service. The manager at the bar promptly assigns. Taya. (Spelling). To our table. I didn't carry credit cards that night but I did have a bevy of digital cards at the ready. Unfortunately I didn't have a physical card with me so she says we can pay at the end of the night with my digital card. Again. Thank you. "BUT DON'T WALK OUT ON ME. ". It wasn't a request. It was a pending accusation. Her last statement walking away. Interesting. Mind you. I have homes in two countries as well as here in the United States. But to Taya. I was a man who she felt she needed to threaten not to walk out on a $50 tab. Ok. As a side note I have gone through three passports and have learned from my numerous international travels that it is safer to travel with digital cards and cash. Which I had plenty of at the time since I am a man of significance. I showed it to my daunting waitress. But to her I was a prototype black male who will walk on their meaningless $50 tab. Hence the warning. Prototype is the key word in that last sentence. Enter and you will be categorized. Prototyped. JUST DONT WALK OUT ON ME. As if there would be some level of repercussions afterward. CHAPTER THREE. Not knowing that I was glancing in her direction, Taya then ceremoniously walked to the bar and gave her manager the middle finger many times for assigning her our table. Let me repeat. She gave her manager the middle finger. In public. In direct line view of my table. For assigning her our table. I reacted. I walked up to "Taya" and asked why me and my brother deserved the warning. Nothing meaningful in a response. Ok. Being the more mature person in this interaction I later apologized for my reaction to the perceived slight. This....Not knowing there was yet another chapter to come. CHAPTER FOUR. Despite the ridiculousness from the wait staff, we continued to play. It was an important experience for me and my brother since I am rarely at home in the United States and even rarer do we get to play pool together. Pool for my brother and me is part of our natural bond. But apparently that means little to the wait staff at QMaster Billiards. We continued to play and at one point the table next to us...who was celebrating a birthday party for a group of young women.. was paying their tab and congregated closely at the end of our table to discuss who would pay what portion of the bill. We were patient. But at a certain point, we needed to play pool. I had a ball land where I had to disturb the pondering group. They did not move despite the fact that was polite. I shot. Off. Never mind. It's a game and we will respect this group. Next, my brother had a legitimate pool shot that also required him to aim from the midst of the established group of pondering young payers. Again. They did not move despite us politely asking them to move. Most pool players respect the courtesy of pool players trying to land their next shot. Not here at QMaster Billiards with this burly waitress and her pondering purchasers. Instead of asking the group to politely move to the side to let us continue the game , the burly waitress yelled at my brother telling him he would have to wait until they finish the transaction. The last word of her outburst was: "SIR." Using the word as a slur. At that point. We clearly understood that we as two black men were not wanted at all QMaster Billiards. It was obvious based on the four unexpected but important chapters of our experience. I am not advising the people of color not go to QMaster Billiards in Virginia Beach. I am advising you to beware that you are not wanted. There is a clear collective effort to relegate us to a lesser experience. THIS IS NOT AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT READILY WELCOMES YOU. Please don't let my experience result in you not patronizing this business. But. Beware. Tip the staff. IF DESERVED. But based on the welcome that we received here, I am certain that we are not the first to have had an experience like this. GOOD LUCK AND BE AWARE.

My Prized Dave Bollman Cue I got at Q-Master Billiard Pro Shop! I was blown away the first time I walked in! It's Pool Heaven!!

Great place for family or friends to gather and shoot pool. The price is great and affordable for just about anybody. The place is huge and on a normal day isn't packed so you should be able to walk in and grab a table. Friday and Saturday nights are usually busy and can get packed pretty quickly around 9pm and up. The food so far has been good and the servers are friendly and come around in a timely manner to make sure you're taken care of. It has become a go to spot for my coworkers and I.

This is easily the best place to play pool in Virginia Beach. Tons of tables to choose from, and they are all updated regularly with new felt and they polish all the balls after each use. Very clean establishment and you can tell just by walking in that it is a traditional pool hall with a lot of billiard lore on the walls. The prices can't be beat either and as a result it's a great place to practice, just get there early on Friday and Saturday as it does fill up fast in the evening.

First time here and I must say the vibe here is nice. People are really friendly especially their front desk staff. She's friendly and informative on the pool hall. Drinks and food are great here. Service and severs are on point and always coming through asking if you need things. Great spot to hang out and just shoot some pool. Thank you for great service I will definitely be here more often.see you soon

I walked in, and the entire room seemed to stop. People turned and stared. I smiled at a few of them, hoping to break the tension, but they just kept staring. I sat down at the bar and waited quietly -- five, maybe ten minutes. I had no problem being patient as I understand bartenders can get busy. But while I sat there, I watched her serve others, chat with regulars, and even tell one that she'd just given him some fresh drinks. She continued cleaning her bar but never once acknowledged me. Not even a "Hi" or "I'll be right with you." Then she poured herself a Red Bull into her personal cup, walked right past me, and struck up a friendly conversation with the man next to me -- loud and casual -- asking if he was "golfing this weekend." That made it clear: she wasn't going to serve me. As a BLACK veteran, that moment hit hard. This bar, with all its patriotic décor, made it clear that their version of "supporting the troops" doesn't include people like me. I didn't serve my country to protect ignorance or racism -- especially not from those who wrap themselves in the flag while looking down on others. This place can take their support and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

But this top golf experience was a little bit different, yeah of course not perfect especially because the tables were sticky and quite dirty so that was unpleasant, and our bayhost was alright but it felt a little like she was annoyed of us so it kind of ruined the mood, but the server who brought us our food honestly made the whole experience reach the 4 stars! He was a really nice, funny, pleasant, well mannered young gentleman. He brought us the food and actually took some time explaining everything and made genuine conversations, making jokes and being extremely friendly, not only with me but my whole family, he was also extremely fast and understanding and got us everything we needed even though I'm sure he was busy and had things to do! I usually don't write reviews regarding servers but this young man named Jamari really stood out, it truly feels really nice when someone who's a server takes out time from they're day to be genuine and have a conversation, and it really sets the mood for the rest of the experience you have. Especially not knowing how that can change someone's whole day. So all I have to say my family's experience was really made great because of the nice young man Jamari, each top golf deserves an employee like him! And Thank you Top Golf for hosting us all the way in Virginia!!

My boyfriend and I went to Shorebreak for the first US game of the World Cup. As expected, it was an absolute zoo. We didn't have reservations or seats. Somewhat dejected, we approached the packed bar and admittedly, I expected a serious wait before I got a drink. In comes Martina! She almost immediately flagged me over to get a us drink and started my tab. We ended up moving outside and found some seats at the outside bar, so thrilled! Of course, Hannah was quick to take our orders. All was well... then came the rain. It turned into a downpour and we had to rush inside. We wondered about our nacho order while we dripped from the rain, packed into a sea of people. But Hannah found us right away! She got us more drinks and checked on the nachos. She said they were probably cold at this point and insisted that she put them in again. She brought us more drinks and nachos all in the chaos of the night and never forgot about us. At halftime, I realized I needed to close out my tab with Martina at the indoor bar and was dreading it, as it had only gotten more crowded. But once again, immediately upon my return, Martina found me and closed my tab for me. As usual, the food and drinks were delicious. But I really wanted to point out the exemplary service we received (esp by Martina and Hannah) on one of the craziest nights I've ever experienced at Shorebreak! Wonderfully run place, and the service really made the difference between a disastrous night and a memorable one.

BOGO BURGER NIGHTMARE: I'd like to start by commemorating…read morethe views and ambiance of the establishment, truly a great reservoir to look over. Upon entry a sign signaled of BOGO burgers, and immediately my melancholy demeanor turned to excitement. Throughout our dinner we experienced great drinks, great service, and the best part... great camaraderie amongst my crew. Still reminiscing of our great time and would recommend to any common folk. Now comes the bad, when we received the bill; let me tell you I was shocked! When I read -$7.5 off as a freind and I ordered a $24 Burger and split the bill. Am I crazy? half of 24 is 12, why am I seeing 7.5? Being the astute young man I aspire to be, my first instinct is to question and deep dive. We were blindsided to hear that in Shorebreak's dictionary BOGO means by one burger get the second one $15 off or the price of the cheapest burger with no cheese, and no add-ons. There was no warning, no asterisk on the sign, no fine print on the menu. My review is not out of spite and not to spark any anger or backlash but to inform the general public of a clear cut example of false advertisement. like I said the food, service, views were well above par, and I happily paid my bill and spoke with the manager on duty of an obvious communication error that was received in an apathetic manner. PSA to all Shorebreaker's that BOGO is not what you think it is and I don't want to see any other unsuspecting users fall in the same trap. 4/5 stars food was great the sign could use and update.
