I found out I ordered "incorrect" combo item. I was wanting wings didn't realize I order a different combination. The catch 22 to that though I ordered "extra sauce" and even put a comment of saying "please cook well done". Never received extra sauce that I was CHARGED for. After the delivery I realize the wings weren't there. I called and spoke to whoever that "personally packed and cooked my food". They bluntly told me I ordered what I ordered and that I didn't order wings. Even after I questioned about the sauce the guy dismissed me and kept it pushing. The food would have been good if he wasn't being a complete prick about the interaction. Didn't receive paid for sauce nor extra sauce for received items. The second time I ordered under someone else's information. Same thing missing sauce items. Personally went in and the dude I spoke to had a whole attitude that I was questioning him. I calmly just asked for refund if I'm not getting my sauce that I was charged for. A comment was made about "over $2.00". Which I responded you're doing the same over measly $2.00. Both times didn't get money or requested items. Overall the time I was able to get food. The time for waiting wasn't so bad but at the same time dealing with men that get annoyed the second you point out their mistakes ruins appetite. They tasted hand battered and were juicy and delicious. The wings, garlic and hot, were cooked well and sauced just right. In 2023, they closed their original location of Shore Drive and set sights on a new local which was expanded. They have finally reopened and we got a chance to stop in to see how they were doing. Let's check it out shall we? We were seated a minute after walking in. There were a few people dining inside on this cloudy day. The decor is nice resembling a type of restaurant you may see in New Orleans. Right when I was looking through the menu, I ran into Chef Moe who greeted me with a handshake. It has been years since we last saw each other but the vibes came right back since Sophia and I were long-standing customers. We couldn't talk long since he was busy, but it was great to run into him again smiling from ear to ear seeing me there. Great people indeed. How was the food you might ask? Pretty damn good. We both ordered their fried catfish meals with sides (mine came with fries and sweet cornbread and Sophia's with mashed potatoes and gravy and mac-and-cheese). The fish was seasoned perfectly and was huge. It was big enough to cover a football field (just kidding). The fries, as always, tasted great and the cornbread was delish. Two stars only because service was slow…read more A group of us went to the Dirty Buffalo last night for a social even. It took our server a lot longer to get our drinks than it should have. Then it took even longer to get our meals ordered and our food to be served. It was also super loud in there, which is not anyone's fault. The atmosphere was just loud. The food was really good though. Great place if you're getting it to go or maybe with a smaller group but I certainly won't go back and eat it there.
