Karaoke Hero Live! Karaoke! Yeah! That's how amped I was when I walked in fully intending on doing some karaoke with some old friends who already know that I can't sing. We had our libation-induced courage on and we were ready to belt out some old-school tunes and damned whoever was listening! To Stooges we go, and at first I walked in and thought I was listening to the radio. But no, it was a young guy singing some Garth Brooks song I'd never heard before but was so beautiful that I teared up a little. We sat down to watch him finish, fully expecting for some talent of our caliber (the low kind) to follow. A girl got on stage and tore the house down with another song that I'd never heard (but everyone else was singing along to). And so it went, a whole string of amazing singers at this Karaoke bar. Wow! Needless to say we didn't sing, but we did have a few drinks, grab some food and watch the entertainment. I don't know if it's always like that, but Wow! If so, I got to find a new place where I can sing badly.

    12 wings!!!! Cheap and yummy.

Actually a pretty great lunch menu, I had a volcano burger which was everything hot or spicy they could find in the kitchen rolled into a patty and I loved it.

My boyfriend and I went to Shorebreak for the first US game of the World Cup. As expected, it was an absolute zoo. We didn't have reservations or seats. Somewhat dejected, we approached the packed bar and admittedly, I expected a serious wait before I got a drink. In comes Martina! She almost immediately flagged me over to get a us drink and started my tab. We ended up moving outside and found some seats at the outside bar, so thrilled! Of course, Hannah was quick to take our orders. All was well... then came the rain. It turned into a downpour and we had to rush inside. We wondered about our nacho order while we dripped from the rain, packed into a sea of people. But Hannah found us right away! She got us more drinks and checked on the nachos. She said they were probably cold at this point and insisted that she put them in again. She brought us more drinks and nachos all in the chaos of the night and never forgot about us. At halftime, I realized I needed to close out my tab with Martina at the indoor bar and was dreading it, as it had only gotten more crowded. But once again, immediately upon my return, Martina found me and closed my tab for me. As usual, the food and drinks were delicious. But I really wanted to point out the exemplary service we received (esp by Martina and Hannah) on one of the craziest nights I've ever experienced at Shorebreak! Wonderfully run place, and the service really made the difference between a disastrous night and a memorable one.

BOGO BURGER NIGHTMARE: I'd like to start by commemorating…read morethe views and ambiance of the establishment, truly a great reservoir to look over. Upon entry a sign signaled of BOGO burgers, and immediately my melancholy demeanor turned to excitement. Throughout our dinner we experienced great drinks, great service, and the best part... great camaraderie amongst my crew. Still reminiscing of our great time and would recommend to any common folk. Now comes the bad, when we received the bill; let me tell you I was shocked! When I read -$7.5 off as a freind and I ordered a $24 Burger and split the bill. Am I crazy? half of 24 is 12, why am I seeing 7.5? Being the astute young man I aspire to be, my first instinct is to question and deep dive. We were blindsided to hear that in Shorebreak's dictionary BOGO means by one burger get the second one $15 off or the price of the cheapest burger with no cheese, and no add-ons. There was no warning, no asterisk on the sign, no fine print on the menu. My review is not out of spite and not to spark any anger or backlash but to inform the general public of a clear cut example of false advertisement. like I said the food, service, views were well above par, and I happily paid my bill and spoke with the manager on duty of an obvious communication error that was received in an apathetic manner. PSA to all Shorebreaker's that BOGO is not what you think it is and I don't want to see any other unsuspecting users fall in the same trap. 4/5 stars food was great the sign could use and update.

Our server was Nathan and he was friendly and accommodating!! I like the amount of happy hour options compared to some other restaurants with just a few. We got burger sliders with fries, calamari, poke nachos, and chicken lettuce wraps. The calamari was ok but it was some very tough ones to chew and the portion was small. The tartar sauce that came with it was good and a little spicy. The poke nachos were decent, but I'm not a raw girly to often, so I'd definitely ask if it could be seared. I put it in the air fryer at home, and it was pretty good. My daughter enjoyed it!! The lettuce wraps were just ok, the chicken was kinda rubbery and chewy. The wonton shell was delicious though and the sauce was good. My sliders were supposed to be all the way with lettuce, tomato, onions, and secret sauce. But when they came to the table they were plain with no sauce. I started to eat and about 5 minutes later the food runner brought my correct order. They said they gave me the table next to ours food. So the waiter came back to take it back, and I asked if they'd throw it away? He said yes! Which kinda bothered me. I asked since it was going in the garbage and it wasn't my mistake, could I keep it. He said the manager wouldn't allow it. With inflation why would the manager rather trash perfectly good food? It makes me nervous when restaurants take food back. If it's sat down on a table it shouldn't be returned, just take the loss, because how do I know your not going to replace it and serve it to someone else. I'm not a fan of that!! I'm not accusing them of doing that, but that's the thoughts that run through my mind in situations like that. The table was spacious at the booths and it was clean inside. There's street and garage parking. We went on a good day when it wasn't a wait for a table. The hostess was very nice. She was cheerful and engaging! I'd go back to try other happy hour dishes. Check them out!!

I love corned Beef & Cabbage. Theirs was perfect. Served with whipped potatoes and whole carrots. I asked our server if the potatoes could be substituted for a double order of cabbage the next time and she said she was sure it could but may have a little extra charge. My Friend chose Jagerschnitzel. A German dish consisting of hand-flattened, fried pork loin, topped with onion and mushroom gravy. It was served with kraut, warm potato salad and green beans. She seemed pleased with her choice. Park Lane gives a welcoming vibe that makes me think of the old TV show Cheers. The kind of place that makes you feel like everyone knows your name. Sit at the bar, a high top table near the bar and watch The Big Game or take a seat on the other end of the restaurant and have a Family dinner or maybe a table for two. The bar is sexy! It's not a full U shape, but it's a good size. Plenty of seating and airy! If you choose to dine from the menu you can or you can order the buffet (next door) from Captain George's. I am not a fan of buffet's, so when I ventured out with my husbae and friends, I opted to order from the menu. I ordered a simple salad and the scallops for my meal with two sides. My meal was so good! The scallops were not free of grit, but it was limited. I would order the meal again. But my favorite part of the restaurant, is the atmosphere. I noticed sound boxes at the booths. We sat at tables in the center and I do not believe sound boxes are portable for those tables. The vibe was still cool! Usually checking out sports or anything on TV, no sound is really needed. If sound is needed, you would go to a quieter place, right?! Nevertheless, the waitstaff and bartender were on point throughout the night. This was a Wednesday night and it was still a pretty good crowd out. Surprisingly, but it was a good time and the waitstaff did not miss a beat! Check them out if you are in the area. Especially if you like an upscale bar atmosphere type vibe... this is your spot. Happy Hour specials on drinks and food are featured daily. I cannot wait to visit again :) Be safe ~ have fun ~ enjoy life :)
