It's hard to give this little shop anything less than a 5, but I must…read more They carry so many amazing locally sourced ingredients and have a nice selection of crystals and spiritual tools. They have everything you need for your practice. So I'd definitely recommend checking out this store! But I'm not sure I want to go back to the Green Bay location...today I went in, and there was a man working the store. (Unfortunately I didn't get his name.) He did a great job packaging up the loose herbs I needed and helping me find ingredients around the store, so it's hard to say anything negative...but I really got bad vibes. He made me a bit uncomfortable standing a bit too close, even going so far as to touch my arm at one point...I was trying to be conversational and nice, but his energy felt off. Again, absolutely love the store, and the first time I went in, I had an amazing woman help me out and it made me want to come back a week later. I'd just be wary.

I really like this place - such an eclectic shop which is nice here in Green Bay!…read more I'm super excited about their dried tea leaves and herbs. I've been looking for a spot here in Green Bay and of all places, this might be my go-to spot for tea and herbs! I don't have much taste right now, but my wife LOVED their hibiscus tea. And I don't think I ever heard her say she loved a tea. We bought a bag. Plus, I LOVE how you can bring in your own container to fill and weigh. Going green is always a plus with me! They have a ton of other great things to explore in the store. If you're into oils, they even have oils and a DIY station. I didn't look into their oils and offerings in that space, so I'm not sure the quality. HIGHLY recommend. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly!

First, the sour dough bread is absolutely amazing! Some of the best I've ever had…read more We will definitely continue purchasing the bread. We won't go in for brunch again though. I ordered toast, crispy potatoes, a side of bacon. My daughter ordered eggs Benedict . My order came and the waitress had forgot to put in the potatoes . This was after confirming the order twice. When the potatoes came it was a small portion swimming in some kind of spicy seasoned oil. For $8 I would have expected a bit more portion wise. The bacon was fine. Nothing remarkable, and $4 for two slices. The toast and jam was ok. The toast bordered on burnt and was served without butter. The jam was more like a strained strawberry puree. The toast was tasty, except for the slightly burnt top. The eggs Benedict was $22. For that price they should be stellar! The English muffin had burnt bits, the hollandaise was ok, nothing special , the ham was tasty , but the egg was poached way past the point you would want or expect with eggs Benedict . There was a side of thinly sliced zucchini and squash that was quite tasty . Again, terrific bread- but we will skip the dine in options.

Picked up a chocolate croissant and an almond croissant from Voyageurs at the farmers' market by St. Brendan's Inn, where I am staying. Both were delicious, and the almond croissant was huge! I've been snacking on that throughout the day. I mentioned to them that Yelp has them listed as being open until 2 AM on Friday night. They clarified that they close at 2 PM on Friday's, like the rest of the week. Nice folks, very kind and helpful. Their breads looked delectable as well.

A lot of my life with my dad has been spent in a rush. Rushing from what I never really understood…read moretil I got older. We've found ourselves in this particular moment, him 5 years sober, me 26 and often confusing experiences of pain and pleasures on the thin ice of addiction. Today we are in wisconsin, visiting family, having coffee to stay at a cafe my grandma recommended we go to. She has my tiny brother, so it's just my dad and I, how things were for 16 years. We work as a team to find free parking. We love doing team things to save a dollar, a minute, or find a loophole. We decide on our coffees, and when the barista asks if we'll have them to stay my dad says yes, which brings a smile to my mind. He suggests we share this berry oat bar thing. One thing I find so charming about his sobriety is his need for sweets. It's somewhere in trainspotting 2 that mark tells spud "you'll always be an addict. You just have to find something else to get addicted to." I think of this when i see him with a big fat bowl of ice cream after dinner and a new exciting hobby every other month. I think of this when I consider what my life might be like if I decide to admit some things to myself sooner than later. But right now it's me and my father, having coffee to stay in cute mugs, no rushing, no changing things, just farting around in a midwest summer.
