Dr. Qadir saved my life. I am a cancer survivor. When I went to Dr. Qadir, I was exhausted from completing 6 years of home hospice care for my Mom. She could tell that I hadn't been taking care of myself. She pushed me a bit, to get a Mammogram, and then some additional testing. Very early Breast Cancer was discovered. After surgery, I will not need to do chemo or radiation. read more

She seems liable for malpractice, ranging from patient abandonment on the first visit to gaslighting. I would verify her qualifications given her website promotes all sorts cosmetic services and awards that I can't imagine how she received after seeing how she runs her practice as well as treats new and existing patients. Her staff, ranging from the front desk to the physician assistants, tries their best and is the only saving grace for her practice, which is conveniently located across from Walt Whitman mall. They are friendly, diligent, and do try their best while staying calm, collected, and professional unlike the doctor herself, who seems passive aggressive. Given the poor reviews and experience, I don't recommend her practice unless you want to go through the pain of feeling this distress yourself. read more

I just called this office for a medical clearance. The receptionist asked me which hospital I would be having surgery. I told her. Then she asked me the telephone number for the hospital. When I replied I COULD look it up, she said yes please. No, you could look it up just as easily as I! She then said her office needs a note explaining what surgery I needed and why. I said I already have a note for my employer I'll fax that. She said no we need it from Orthopedic surgeon. Then do your job and call them! I would give this place 0 stars if I could. This is not from a patient standpoint but as a contractor working for this business when it 1st opened. This Dr proceeded to tell me as a professional how to use my drill and then proceeded to call my company saying she's scared of black people like I threatened her. I 100% agree with patients that find her argumentive and dishonest. I was so digusted with her behavior because she showed no regard for me possibly losing my job because of her blatant lies. Luckily my manager knows my character well and this "Dr" was the only customer that ever called up my company with this nonsense. She's the type of person that will say and do anything regardless of the consequences to other people including fabricating stories. Dr Qadir barred me from her office due to Covid fears despite the fact that in the time since I had a fever (from cellulitis, which I told her) I received two negative Covid tests. I lost money due to time I had to take off work for the appointment only to be turned away in the parking lot and she refused to listen to logic or reason - absolutely terrible standard of care. Before this the quality had been lacking and rushed but adequate - this was an abdication of care. Hearing feedback from other people that left her in the past after horrible interactions. read more

I'm a 30 year old male and have been a patient of Dr. Qadir's less than a year. I hesitated writing this review because I hate the idea of hurting somebody's reputation and possibly their income, but because this is directly related to billing excessively and without my authorization, I think it's worth sharing so that other patients can be aware. I've "seen" Dr. Qadir three times this year. The first was my annual physical, but the second two appointments were impromptu video calls for which I was specifically told I would not be charged before I agreed to them. The second call was just to let them know that I had tested positive for COVID with mild symptoms and wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing by not seeking medical care. On both calls there was some sort of interference or static for the 2-3 minutes we spoke, which made it hard to understand what she was saying. I kept trying to tell her that I couldn't hear her but she just said "it's fine, it's working." I think that she is aware that the software doesn't work well and just doesn't want to deal with it. On the last call, she told me to take Vitamin C and Vitamin D and exercise, and then chastised me for contracting the virus. She said "we're never going to get through this pandemic if you don't follow the rules." To me, and I think to anybody who has completely altered their lifestyle for the past 10 months in order to stop the spread of the virus, this was incredibly offensive and unfair. For both "virtual appointments," they billed my insurance a total of $900. Again, I specifically told the receptionist that I could not speak with the doctor if there would be a charge, and she specifically said that I would not be charged "because of COVID." Once I received the bill for the last appointment, I called to ask about this and was told "it doesn't matter what you were told, your insurance wouldn't cover all of it," and "it doesn't matter if you spoke to her for 30 seconds, it's still an appointment." Altogether, my experience with Sonia and her staff has been really, really bad, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for care. read more

I'm sorry to say I will not be going back. My previous GP, who left the area, spent time with me to understand my health background and would call herself with the results and explain. I saw the doctor for maybe 3 minutes the first visit. Her assistant, who is still undergrad, calls with results and commented on the out-of-range results and suggested I should be on medication, which later was contradicted by the doctor, who said I should not be on medication. The second time I went no one bothered to look at my folder beforehand. Very sloppy and rushed. My insurance was also upcharged--the assistant asked me to close one eye and read the eye chart and that was billed $250 as "optometry." read more

Very and highly unprofessional. Even though I had read reviews (good and bad ones) I still went to her medical office. She is just completely unprofessional. She rushes with patients and puts her own opinions in consideration rather then your choices. She was trying so hard to talk me out of a procedure that I had already planned on doing for 3 years and which I had paid out of pocket. Like seriously? I know what's good for me I don't need advice from her. She delayed the paperwork and I had no other choice but to cancel with my other doctors. after going to my own doctor for vertigo and not receiving much help i decided to try dr.quadir who is my wife's primary care doctor . she help me out imediately and sent me to a place the same day so the could help me out with dislodged crystal in my inner ear . dr. quadir performed a head roll proceedure which worked amazingly.. it was pretty scary having the room spin when i moved my head.... not many doctors are aware of this procedure or the specialist who does the follow up procedure . very caring and thorough . and took me in right away.. guess i will be seeing her from now on. thanks so much for the help . anthony lav read more

I first went to this Dr in November of 2020, because I needed a physical. The medical assistant performed 90% of the physical, and the Dr spent literally under 4 minutes with me, through which she rushed through her basic questions and did not allow for me to fully explain or ask anything in additional. This Dr over-books and does not care to listen to her patients, which could be somewhat justified if at the very least she would provide full and thorough medical advise. Two weeks after my physical I had to return to this office because I wanted a covid test, and all urgent care places had very long waits. The Dr provided no guidance or instructions on when I would be considered non-contagious, nor when she would advise to be tested again, or even if that's necessary. Her receptionist was consistently short and rude each time I called to try and speak with the Dr after being in quarantine for over three weeks since I was never told what to do. Finally when the Dr wouldn't call me back, I asked for a detailed letter stating the date I was tested and whether or not I was no longer considered contagious. The receptionist literally told me I called every day and she had too much work, and that the Dr would call me when she could. Needless to say, I never called after that and I would never use this Dr again. It's a real shame how many so-called healthcare providers truly don't care about patients, but only the money they're paid to see them for less than 4 minutes. read more

I don't typically write reviews. But I just wanted to thank Dr. Sonia Qadir for being so cautious. Upon entering her clinic each patient MUST be temperature checked. I appreciate this very much due to the fact that I have an autoimmune disease, and if I am exposed to the coronavirus I will be incredibly at risk. When walking into her clinic I must commend her and her staff for being so clean, as well as the fact that they are all so attentive. The receptionists are incredibly kind, and wait time is limited. Dr. Qadir made sure to explain to me in depth about my issues, how it will be resolved, and most importantly WHY she was prescribing me a prescription. I am not one to go to Doctors so when I do, I need one that runs blood and does general testing (that's needed ) in office. I don't have time or the money to go to labs so I was so happy to find Dr Qadir. She has been my Dr for 2 years now and I am extremely happy. I was a heavy smoker of 30 years and because of her frankness with me, I walked out of her office and quit. She handles your medical situations with concern and likes to be thorough so don't overload her with a bunch of issues at once,(makes it hard to give the utmost care ) Today I called with a issue and I had a appointment within a few hours. I have been nothing but happy with the care I have received from Dr Qadir and nursing staff. Her office staff has been totally professional and courteous and quick to help with appointments, authorizations and general questions. Its true - she really is a bad doctor. I went to her about a serious sore throat that would not go away for 2 weeks. She diagnosed it as "not strep", therefore it must be that I need a nasal wash! I went again a week later. She refused to prescribe antibiotics (i.e., a Z Pack) or even do some tests to see what it might be. She's too busy. Barely 5 minutes of her time and kaching, she's made her money. She laughed at my attempt to get answers on "Dr. Google" as she called it, but after enough research, I realized what I had was a candidiasis which went away by changing my diet for several days (very low sugar). Thanks Dr. Google. Sonia Qadir is a walking failure. Some people might get lucky with her but broken clocks are right sometimes. Don't risk your health on this quack. This walking failure is in it for the money. You are better off with Dr. Google. Dr. Google will spend unlimited time with you. Find a doctor who will spend time. read more

Dr. Qadir is one of the best doctors I've had in my 40 plus years. She sees my entire family and has been a sense of strength and always has an answer or remedy that works for each individual. She has a busy office and yet once she enters the room with you, you have her complete focus! People have to be understanding that Drs. are people too, and some days are easy and others are not, but you can trust she is up on the latest information and medically you'll be taken care of! Before I found her about 5 years ago, I felt like a number in an office. But even on her busiest days she looks at each person uniquely. If you are in and out fast it's because she knows her stuff! I cannot thank her enough for having the bedside manner of a country doctor and yet knowing the solutions to make us well and healthy. Wait time depends on the day, but it's much faster than other places I remember. The staff is to the point and always helpful. I cannot reccomend this Dr. and center more!! read more
