I am very unhappy with my choice to choose this office and I wish I could reverse my decision never had an issue like this before and I am very disgusted! they stated they have no way of knowing if this is the most recent copy of our court order. I have never heard this before not even from the hospital, please advise? The office manager stated that the father and his wife did not add me to the medical form and that even though they have a legal document in their possession that's grants me legally the right to all medical records and information that they cannot get involved so what is the point of a court order if it means absolutely nothing! It makes it seem to me once you had my insurance information you were done with me and I will let my insurance Cigna know everything that occurred with dates and times because Cigna referred me to your office and they need to know exactly what is happening! He also compiled my lab scripts and entered them into the system faster than the line I had to wait on simply because there may be two employees staffed on a Saturday morning. Nonetheless, I'll come back because of his exceptional service to make this process as seamless, efficient, and painless as possible. Parking usually is easy unless the lot is packed. They also have valet service if needed. These are just some reasons to come back when they serve both Northwell, NYU, and any hospital that faxes or gives you a lab scripts on paper for them to process. Unlike some hospitals, such as Mount Sinai, they don't let you combine scripts with other hospitals and this inefficiency cause the patient to have to go elsewhere to bundle their blood draws, especially if they have deep veins. It's so nice to have a centralized lab to get all your tests done in one place instead of getting poked multiple times for each doctor's tests.

A…read morewoman in a lab coat called my name, I went up to her with the paperwork from a Northwell doctor (not from some no-name organization. Northwell.) She said to me: "What is this? I need a script" very brusquely and disgustedly, obviously annoyed. She walked away. I had to call the doctor's office, very concerned that the doctor had sent me off from 40 minutes away without a script for bloodwork. I had to ask them to send the script, which they sent me by email. It was the exact same paperwork. I waited, wondering if I should interrupt one of the lab techs and ask if I had the right paperwork. I finally did interrupt Theresa, who checked the paperwork and assured me that it was the actual script. It was 27 pages (genetic testing), lengthy and involved, but Theresa, calmly and patiently, took on the task, which took her quite a bit of time. She was thorough and friendly -- in short, terrific. She is why I am rating this 4 stars. Obviously, the other woman in lab coat didn't want to take on such a Herculean task, so she sent me off to call my doctor to beg the office to send me the "real" script. All of this was totally unnecessary and stressful. But, hey, she got out of doing it, right? My advice to her? Have fun doing those simple, lazy, little jobs, hon. NO ONE is going to want to work with you for long. And you are bad for business.

I sat down in the lab room and she didn't even look around to say hello. She typed away on her computer for about five minutes before acknowledging me. While I was waiting, I noticed several URINE samples sitting on the table next to me. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.!!! After she had done her paperwork on the screen, she told me I had a $50 co-pay and when I took out my payment card she made me lean WAY across the room (I was sitting down in the patient chair) to hand it to her without even getting off her seat. They are friendly, diligent, and do try their best while staying calm, collected, and professional unlike the doctor herself, who seems passive aggressive. Every…read moretime in the last 3 years my husband and I have been sent in for preventive screening that should be no cost to us if billed as a screening they have been billing them as diagnostic even though every time the prescription from the doctor says screening. When you ask them to resubmit it to the insurance with the proper diagnostic codes for a screening they refuse and you have to get your insurance company on the phone with them, and they still argue about it. If a scrip says it is a preventive screening bill it correctly! As I said have been fighting with them for both me and my husband for over 3 years over this. We have been having these screenings there since 2016 and the first 6 years everything was billed correctly but now it is like they have idiots working in the billing department who refuse to go by the scripts submitted. I have even had the doctor's office call them and they still refuse to bill it correctly. Do not ever use them if what you are going for is a preventive screening. They also bill through North Shore University Hospital instead of as a stand alone facility so the costs are much higher than they should be being billed as. We have one bill in collection now that we are disputing as had it been billed correctly our insurance would have paid it in full. I will no longer use them even though all my doctors are Northwell. From now on I will go to Zwanger or Bab radiology.
