When Awake first opened I thought that a pharmacy and cafe was a weird combination, but they were ahead of their time. Today, a Tuesday, it's quite busy and we got one of the last tables. I could tell that others were here for the same combination as us. Awake has a small menu with just their bubble waffles and pasties but otherwise it's a fine place to stop for a break or to pick up a prescription.

And I think it's great Woodrack is here because they're a nice local coffeeshop. I've come here several times to have a coffee. The lattes are great and as someone who's lactose-intolerant I appreciate the plant-based milk options they have (oat milk is my favourite). They have some breakfast and lunch options, and baked goods. These can change, but if the cinnamon bun is there you can't go wrong with that. They also have a selection of beer and wine (only place to have an alcoholic beverage in the mall). Staff is always friendly.and the owner she's a gem. I will say there's often only one person working, so there may be the occasion when there's a bit of a lineup, but it's never anything major. I always like stopping here for a coffee and look forward to my next caffeine fix from The Woodrack Cafe.
