Really unethical practice focused on the money. Jessica, the "scheduler", was rude and refused to…read moreconnect me to anyone who could answer basic questions-she told me that I would be required to pay for a consultation if I wanted to ask any questions. I explained that I was looking for a provider for a friend and I had already spoken to another neuro-psychologist who explained that there are a lot of differences in neuro psych assessments and highly recommended that I ask other providers about this before deciding which one to make an appointment with (the provider who gave me this information was too far away for my friend to see). I also called another office and learned they were not taking new patients but the owner/psychiatrist there spent quite a bit of time on the phone advising me how to best help my friend. I actually offered to pay him for his time with me since he spent a significant amount of time educating me but he refused to take any payment. These experiences really highlighted how differently Rittenhouse Psychiatric operates and also highlights how focused they are on money rather than patient care. They even tell you on their general voicemail, before you even have an opportunity to speak to anyone, about their requirements for credit card up front since they don't accept insurance. Seems super creepy to me.
