Went to an event at QBK Sports, it was my first time there and I didn't even realize there was a beach volleyball facility in Queens. The facility is quite large, with about three full-size sand volleyball courts, plus a bar (I believe they also serve food), plenty of tables, TVs, and a few other games for entertainment. Our group met by some of the tables towards the far end of the space, and we were able to store our belongings in cubbies beside the tables. We started with a lesson/review of volleyball basics, which were great and led by Isa and Rashid, who made learning the basics approachable and fun. We did drills in pairs, took a short break, and then played a few full games. The QBK staff were wonderful, patient, and created a really welcoming environment. Highly recommend planning an event here, it is a fun, active experience and a great way to connect with others. Very happy I went and I look forward to coming back to QBK in the future.

What a fun and unique place. Joined one of the volleyball leagues to have a fun time. Everyone is super nice and the place is spacious with 3 full size courts, plenty of volleyballs and space to chill. There's also a bar where you can get alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The restrooms have amenities like deodorant, menstrual supplies, etc which is nice.

Who says I'm a Yelp Elite? I am! Today I went here all by myself on a frigid and freezing Saturday afternoon to go to my thirteenth Yelp Elite Event feeling good. The service there was very friendly and pleasant and thanks to the indoor beach volleyball instructors named Greg, Isabella and Josh for teaching me and others on how to play beach volleyball properly. I couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely come back again next time if I wanted to sign up and then take a class on how to play beach volleyball with other groups! :)

I've been here twice now, once for a drop in, and once for a free trial class, and both were very fun. All the QBK coaches seem really friendly and helpful, shout out coach Antonio! Definitely considering a membership now, especially because my friends who are already members really recommend it.

I haven't played volleyball since middle school, so it was so fun bringing those memories back as adults! I took their free trial class. It was a group of 18 or so. We started off with warmups, followed by volleyball drills, and then a mock game where we passed the ball over the net in a typical volleyball game formation. Best of all, all of this was done in fake sand. And if you were worried like me at first, the sand comes off super easily and wasn't messy at all! Before we know it, class was over. The place was super chill, filled with students either playing in a league or in a class. There was even a bar inside. QBK Sports is a great addition to Queens and the city overall for fun indoor beach volleyball.

YOU HAVE TO GO HERE. My dad & I are very competitive & we wanted to try something different and out of our comfort zone. The owners are all SUPER SWEET - they have a full bar, food, ping pong, board games, anything you think of - they have it! The place is clean & the instructor was great. I was a little anxious because I've never played volleyball in my life but we went through a warmup, techniques & were ready to play!!! Safe to say, we will be coming back & introducing our friends to this place as well! Great place to have a birthday party, date night, family day, etc! Thanks QBK - great / fun concept!

The music is at a low enough volume that you can hear your conversations, it doesn't get too crowded so you can spread out, even if you're in a large group. Downstairs, it's a lot tighter, with a DJ, dance floor, lounge seating area, and a much more packed and busy atmosphere on the weekends. I like ping ponging between both vibes when I'm with friends. Admittedly I've found the music both times to be too experimental for me. Confessing that makes me feel like an old person shaking my fist or at least shaking my head, misunderstanding what makes the youth tick. But I had no trouble twirling around the dance floor to this weird experimental music after throwing back a few tequila sodas upstairs. A few times while here my friends have split up into the group that wants to go downstairs to dance and the group that wants to stay upstairs and chill. It's relatively easy to navigate between both vibes, which I enjoy about this spot very much.

BEWARE: Multiple Phones Stolen in One Night, Management Showed No Concern…read more Both my friend and I had our phones stolen inside Ciao Ciao. We later learned that at least two other women also had their phones stolen that same night. When we reported it to the bouncers and management, they showed little concern and made no meaningful effort to investigate, review security footage, or help locate the stolen phones. We even pointed out an individual whose behavior seemed suspicious, but instead of investigating him, management defended him. After I questioned him myself, I watched him immediately leave, get into a car parked directly in front of the club, and drive away. Something seemed quite fishy about his relationship with the club. What makes this especially concerning is the safety aspect. If I had not been with my friends, I would have been stranded for the rest of the night without a phone to contact anyone, get directions, or access transportation. Having multiple phones stolen in one evening should be a major red flag for any venue, yet staff seemed completely uninterested in addressing it. Based on this experience, I would not return and would urge anyone visiting to keep a very close eye on their belongings.

When we saw "Water Tower" on the elevator we decided to press it. SO GLAD WE DID. We landed at the Water Tower and walked into a fairly empty space decorated with art all the way to the ceiling, filled with natural light coming in and the views of the skyline were out of this world. We had to try their drinks of course to enjoy with the incredible view. Though the drinks are $21 and served in a plastic cup that evening, I was NOT expecting my drink to be this insanely delicious. I ordered the inferno Paloma which they infuse themselves with- and it was true perfection. By the way, each bar has their own menu which is pretty awesome and makes it even more fun. Also, Axel is the most incredible bartender and we absolutely loved his creations. Later that night we ordered a custom mandarin margarita, with a spicy twist, and WOW. He's truly talented and absolutely made us some awesome drinks that we can't stop talking about. Sunset with a view and a spicy mezcal drink? Yes and YES. We had this place all to ourselves and can't wait to be back. Friday nights they have DJ nights and you can also book the Water Tower for your own private events which is pretty cool!

It came out as two huge slices of sourdough stacked so high that I couldn't even finish one. For something that expensive, there should absolutely be some indication of portion size, or at minimum the waiter should mention it when ordering. Avocado toast also isn't exactly something you can box up and save for later, so a lot of it just went to waste. Honestly, the menu feels arrogantly overpriced, what avocado toast dish is pushing $30? The only thing that seemed reasonably priced was the $35 bottomless brunch. Overall, the pricing felt excessive and the lack of transparency made the experience frustrating.
