3 tacos, hard shell each with a different protein: chicken, pork and steak
    Erin G.

QDOBA has been on Apopka Vineland near Disney Springs for several years but the restaurant decor and the food has definitely had a makeover since I was there last. I was very impressed with the freshness, flavor, quality and generous portions of the food for their prices. Tucked into a plaza near the intersection of Apopka Vineland (535) and where Palm Parkway becomes Winter Garden Vineland, this restaurant is near Disney Springs. Traffic can get snarled at this intersection. This is a quick serve restaurant and the prices are based on your choice of protein not the vessel or entree style. The staff was very friendly and patient with me as I had a gift certificate for $30 and was trying to spend it wisely. I was interested in the soup and did not realize it was one of the entree styles vs a side item. They currently have a limited time item, 'loaded tortilla soup.' This is a veggie broth made with roasted tomatoes, peppers, onions and spices with your protein choice (doubled!) in a tortilla shell or bowl. Plus your choice of all the toppings, salsas and sauces. It was a chilly Central Florida fall night so this sounded wonderful. Pricing is again based on your protein selection but they also offer a side of tortilla soup that seems to be tomato based with sour cream and chips as topping choices. Similar to another chain named after a pepper, your entree is built by the staff as you verbally select ingredients. For one entree I picked three hard shell tacos, one with chicken, one with pork and one with steak. I was able to add fajitas and corn to my tacos along with 3 cheese queso and pico de gallo. This was a summer garden on a plate. The restaurant was modern and comfortable with tables inside and on the patio. They have a self serve beverage station along with napkins, salt, pepper, utensils and lids. Pros: You can choose an entree and the price includes all the toppings and sauces without up charges. As the sign on the wall says queso, 3 cheese or spicy, as well as guacamole toppings are included with your entree price. You can still purchase additional guacamole if you choose. Ingredients were served up in generous portions. I did not feel like I had to beg for fajita veggies like I have at other restaurants. I asked for lots and was happy with my serving. The rewards program is a quick signup with a QR code. I was able to do this in about a minute at the register. After enrolling you can scan your card or enter your phone number. Free chips and queso on your first order. I did not feel rushed to quickly decide or that my indecisiveness was an annoyance. The staff genuinely wanted to make a meal that I was going to enjoy. I had been to QDOBA in the past but they have an expanded choice of toppings such as pickled onions. I did interact with the manager to process my gift certificate and she was extremely nice. The food trend I see everywhere in 2025 is 'Cholula Hot Sauce' and QDOBA has a Cholula chicken which features the name brand sauce and hot honey. They offer a mini bowl which is a smaller portion for lighter appetites. This is not a kid's meal but has the same topping options as an adult entree. Post workout bowls are featured on the menu. Con's: Disney area traffic but what are they going to do about that? They are in a popular tourist area. It was interesting because I had a sort of been there, done that attitude with QDOBA. Lately I have been going to the latest Mexican concept or trailer park taco joint with mixed results. I now realize QDOBA has really upped their food and service and I can get it my way.

At the corner in the strip mall, they have all the basics. Servings aren't as generous as in the past as all stores have cut back on sizes (shrinkflation?) but the steak is still tasty and the bowl and quesadilla taste great. Staff was friendly, too, during the holidays. They had a lot of boxes set up for to-go orders. One thing- the AC on full blast here, too cold to sit down to eat!

QDOBA is a lot like Chipotle I prefer it honestly. Location can make a difference like anywhere else. You go down the line and choose your options. There are bowls, burritos,Quesadillas & Nachos, mango salsa and chips, tacos, chocolate chunk cookies and brownies for dessert! Unlike Chipotle you get Free Guac & Queso with every entree!!!! Yayyyyy!!!! There are great veggie options, double protein bowls, create your own meals everything is customizable. Some veggie options available and great group options for parties, work and more! Stop by and enjoy some healthier options or just enjoy a casual meal !

Got 2 bowls & gumbo soup. I asked if they still offer pick-2 which is not on menu. She said yes but half through order I asked why chicken bowl & quesadilla were both large sizes & then they said they never heard of pick 2! Upon telling me both were gonna be full price (~12$ each) I said cancel the quesadilla so they tossed it! Otherwise the employees were nice. Clean dining & restrooms! Delicious gumbo & topping were all good.

Yum! Was so fresh & delicious! Ordered online for pickup and it was ready in 10minuets. Best part no up charge for guac & queso! Solid spot for a quick meal.

I'm kinda shocked about the amount of stars for this Qdoba location! My husband and I visited while in the area looking for something quick and cheap, not many restaurants like that in this area! We visited during a slow time and we were immediately greeted by an elder gentleman with very high energy. He was friendly and helped us through the line well as it was our first time visiting here. I went with a bowl with Cholula hot & sweet chicken. The portion was a good size and the chicken had lots of flavor that packed a punch with some heat! My hubby got a quesadilla with pulled pork and lots of cheese. The quesadilla was huge and filled nicely. Pic shows only one half of the quesadilla. Pulled pork was great and cheese was beautifully melted. We were very happy with our visit! We will visit again when in the area. :)

Food is fresh and tasty, very friendly and fast service, I had a chicken burrito bowl and the quantity was bigger then I thought (I could make 2 meals out of it) and the price are very reasonable.

Food was good. The steak bowl comes with any toppings you want for no extra charge. The staff was nice and the cooking and eating areas seemed clean. The reasons for the 4 stars were The bathrooms were not very clean even during a slow period Burrito Bowl. And the steak bowl with a fountain drink was $15

Ambiance: 4 stars When you walk in, you are immersed with the Hispanic vibe and it is really fun and relaxing. A quick service when you can use a kiosk or cashier to order your food. Decor has the regional Mexican colors, flags and music is perfecto. Colorful metal chairs and tables makes it easy to clean and feels cool as you wait for your food. Service: 3.5 stars The cashier was friendly and polite. Food: 3.5 - 4 Stars 1. Three tacos - chicken, Barbacoa, and chorizo - 4 stars Favorite protein was the chorizo. Seasoned and juicy. The chicken and Barbacoa were a little bit dry. 2. 5 tacos - 3.75 stars Meats were braised beef birria and chorizo. Served on corn tortillas with onions and cilantro. The corn tortillas were dry and thicker than normal. The tacos had one tortilla to hold the ingredients. Other places would use two tortillas as the base. Also, they would have been better if they were heated and a little bit moist. 3. Steak quesadilla - 4.5 - loaded with cheese and diced steak. It was hot and fresh. Cilantro and diced onions are served on the side. It will fill you up. 4. Steak Taco Bowl - 3.5 Very filling w rice as the base and the diced steak was good. However, it was missing frijoles (beans) which was kinda' weird but each regional area is different from each other. 5. Loaded nachos with carne asada (steak). The colorful Chips were crunchy and light. The steak was good however, the cheese was processed nacho cheese instead of freshly melted shredded cheese. The dish can get messy so make sure to have enough napkins. The best proteins were the braised beef (birria) and the chorizo. Both were flavorful and juicy. Price: pretty reasonable for the different menu items. We will come back to try other menu items.

After my visit I can confirm: that's exactly right. Let's start with the good, because some of it is genuinely great. The space is clean and well maintained, with staff actively clearing and resetting tables at an impressive pace. For a fast casual concept, the fact that food is brought directly to your table is a thoughtful touch that elevates the experience above its category. And then there are the fries. My stomach is practically rumbling typing this. Freshly fried, crispy and golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served piping hot. They're genuinely hard to compare to anything else -- unique enough to stand on their own. If Chicken Guy sold only fries, I'd be a loyal regular. The chicken, though -- the whole reason for the name -- left me with questions. Hot and fresh, absolutely. But the interior had a wateriness that crossed from "juicy" into something that actually diluted the flavor. Combined with a sweet and sour sauce so thin it refused to cling to the tenders, the whole thing fell a little flat. I found myself wondering whether the chicken had been moisture-injected, because it tasted more hydrated than flavorful. In the Orlando heat that might technically be a feature -- but a good tender should be able to stand on its own before the sauce ever enters the picture. I'd return -- the fries alone make it worth it. But I'd experiment with a different sauce and temper expectations on the chicken itself.

The brisket was the standout for me, followed closely by the pulled pork. The chicken and sausage held their own too. Honestly nothing on the board disappointed. The beer selection also surprised me in the best way -- not your typical theme park watered-down options. One heads up for first-timers: order before you find a table. We made the mistake of doing it the other way around and were pretty firmly told we couldn't sit until we had ordered. I get it as it's how they manage flow but if you don't know the rule going in, it feels a little abrupt when you're just trying to wrangle your family in a crowded dining room. Coming from NYC I do have very high standards for Korean food so it's important that I keep that context when writing this review. We arrived here on a Saturday night in February looking for some good eats after a long day at the parks. We ordered at the counter ramen chicken wings (one butter one) and fries. There wasn't much of a line and the shop is mostly self serve with utensils and water in the back, with a very casual vibe. Our food came out within 15-20 mins or so staring with the wings. I think these chicken wings are very hit or miss depending on your preferences. There was a lot of sauce on these wings so if that is something you like, it definitely hits the spot. However compared to other Korean fried chicken I have had previously, these wings are not double fried, so they are not quite as crispy as the wings I typically get, this is something to note as it is a personal preference. Staff was nice and helpful. The main reason for the 4 star review is the ramen, might have been some of the worst ramen I have had in my life. The broth lacked flavor, the egg was cold, and the meat tasted like plastic, I think dollar store ramen taste better imo. The wings were great and hit the spot and would recommend if you are fine with them not having the crunch typical in fried chicken but I would avoid the ramen if you are to come here again.

That's what made this one sting a little. Let me set the stage. I pull up to the Kissimmee location already knowing what I'm getting. This place has one job. Chicken. Not a massive menu. Not a bunch of distractions. Just chicken, fries, toast, slaw. Simple. Focused. The kind of setup where you expect consistency every single time. And then the tray hit the table. The chicken? Bland. Like no one introduced it to seasoning. And somehow also soggy. You know that moment when you bite in expecting that crispy crunch and instead you get... soft confusion? Yeah. That. It honestly felt like the oil wasn't hot enough. Which is kind of a big deal when frying is your entire identity. Now here's where it gets even more frustrating. Cane's sauce is usually the safety net. It can cover a lot of sins. Underseasoned chicken? Fine. Dip it, save it, move on. But it cannot fix texture. It cannot create crunch out of thin air. And when the crisp isn't there, the whole thing falls flat. The fries didn't do much to help the situation. Underdone. Under salted. Just kind of there. Taking up space. Not offensive, just disappointing. Like they almost made it to the finish line and then decided to clock out early. And here's the part that really gets me. When you only do one thing, you have to nail it. Every time. No excuses. No off days. No close enough. This isn't a diner with a 10-page menu. This is chicken. How do you forget to make it crispy? Now, credit where it's due. The Texas toast? Still elite. Buttery, golden, doing exactly what it's supposed to do. The coleslaw? Fresh, crisp, actually refreshing. And the staff here? Friendly, efficient, and the food came out quick. No complaints on the service side at all. So now I'm sitting there having this internal debate. Because I know what Raising Cane's can be. And this wasn't it. somewhere in the middle of that meal it hit me that I went out of my way for this and got a version that felt like it cut corners That's a tough pill to swallow in an area like Kissimmee where you've got options everywhere you turn. Great food is not hard to find around here. Which makes subpar chicken stand out even more. Three stars. And that feels generous based on the sides and the service carrying the weight. But let's be clear. I'm usually a five star guy when it comes to Raising Cane's. This just wasn't that day. And when your whole brand is built on doing one thing right, you don't get a pass when that one thing misses.
