I had no idea that Del Taco held the title for Best Fast-Food Fries (their claim, not mine), but they were pretty darn good! When I lived in California, I loved Del Taco, but that was over 20 years ago. When I saw that Florida had them too, I had to get some. Their ground beef taco filling just feels less artificial than Taco Bell's. On this visit, I did get a soft taco and a crunch taco, as well as a fish taco and a side of fries. The fish taco was the stand-out star and I was mad at myself for not ordering more of those. I had messed up and put it in a crunchy shell, but that actually turned out to be a happy little accident! It was delicious. I went inside to order, and I used the self-service kiosk. My street taco was tasty and so was my loaded fries. My iced coffee could have been a little less sweet but that's a personal preference. My sister thought the chicken tenders were ok but said they were basically like the frozen ones she buys. My cousin wasn't thrilled about her tacos. My husband said his Big Box combo was ok. I do like how you can get your own refills for drinks. A casual, fast food atmosphere with plenty of seating and sockets to charge your phones. Went late night per the hubbys request. It was our first time here and it did not disappoint. I had the hard taco meal, it came with fries. I also had to order the churros. The taco tasted good but could of had more flavor. The hot sauces added a little bit more heat. I don't know that I would order this again. The fries were crispy and the churro was the perfect sweet treat post meal. Kevin ordered a chicken soft taco that was flavorful. I would get his meal next time. FAMILY TACO ADVENTURE IN KISSIMMEE We love Del Taco. We wish there was one closer to us. Beats the Bell any day in our books. Didn't think to take pics of the food, but I will next time!!! We have tried practically the entire cheap menu and they are all good. Especially the Queso nachos or nachos and guacamole. The steak street tacos are still my favorite!!! Tonight is June 9, 2026 at 12:41 am. I just left the Del Taco on Irlo Bronson Hwy after sitting in line for approximately 15 minutes, along side another car in the lane beside us. Neither our car nor the car in the other lane was ever greeted during that period of time. We finally decided to leave without ordering, only to find the lane blocked at the window by an employee presumably just chatting with the car at the window. (We did not see the car leave with any order.) The employee had the audacity to glare at us as we exited the lane. (See enclosed photo, if I am able to attach it.) Since there was a person inside the establishment, I see no reason that this employee could not speak to our car, as well as the car in the other lane, that (a) they would be with us shortly or that (b) there would be no service available. It is employee conduct like this that reflect poorly on an entire establishment. This was our first - and last - visit to a Del Taco. I hope that corporate sees this review and reprimands this employee. read more

It's great that we often get sent coupons in the mail to come here, which is the reason I've visited. It hadnt been too long of a wait to put my order in and the worker was efficient in getting me my food. The quality was good, but not overwhelmingly good to place it higher than any other taco joint. My daughter and I were out shopping, stopped in at Aldi a couple businesses away and I spotted the Del Taco. Yes I knew of Del in California, specifically San Diego and Oceanside, where I visited a lot from Tucson but never actually ate there. But I knew they were good from other people's rants. And I didn't have to talk my daughter into it since this place is within walking distance of her house. She was already very familiar with them. I ordered the Beer Battered Crispy Fish Tacos meal which comes with fries. She ordered the Ranch Crispy Chicken Tacos. My taco was just a little bit spicy but other wise delicious. Then she gave me one of her crispy chicken tacos and it was the bomb! Way better than the fish taco and something I will definitely be going back for before I leave Florida. She tells me there are only two Del Tacos in Orlando plus this one in Kissimmee. I think its worth a little bit of a drive out of your way. When my coworkers were trying to sell me on lunch at Del Taco (which I hadn't tried before), they honestly weren't doing a great job. "It's like Taco Bell" I don't love Taco Bell "they have awesome chicken" I don't eat chicken "it's only 15 minutes away" we have much closer taco places, including a Taco Bell. What I didn't expect was a clean and friendly place with a nice variety on their menu. As a first timer, I chose to try their birria quesadilla with a chocolate milk shake. The birria was actually really good, like so good I couldn't believe it was from a fast food place. And the consume was also awesome for dipping. The chocolate shake was spot on. It passed the bubble test (blow a bubble into a shake, it should puff up the whole thing a little and take at least a second to rise to the surface), and the thick straw was a huge help. I'm honestly eager to try more of their menu at del taco. I've got a little more spring in my step knowing that they're out there making good food, and a little more confidence in my coworkers taste in restaurants now. read more

For only being open for 3 days, you nailed it all. Warm greeting, great service, spotless restaurant, restrooms and kitchen. The food was perfection as always. It's Del like I couldn't be more stoked about that as I'm from California born and raised my family always went to Del and not the other place! So after moving to the Midwest and being Del deprived I was stoked to have one in my neighborhood when I moved here a few months ago and let me say everything I've had here as been just as good as back in California! For me it's all about Del Combo Burritos, Chicken Soft Tacos, Double Del Cheese Burger, Tacos Carbon, and I could go on and on as everything at Del is always scrumptious like it's one of the only fast food place I actually go to or want to go to for that matter as it's just good! A few secrets to make your Del experience that much better order anything with GO BOLD it means that they will add sour cream and French fries to the inside of your item I do it all the time with red burritos and quesadillas. Speaking of quesadillas I always get them with extra red sauce in them it makes it that much better either way. One of the other things I've always gotten that isn't on the menu is a Bun Taco it's more or less a taco version of a Sloppy Joe so you know it's going to be that sloppy! Don't over look their Taco Tuesday and Thursday specials as you can get a killer deal on tacos on both of those days something that I would seriously live off of back in the high school days! As for their sauces I always get Del Scorcho like I can't ever get enough of that it's just the best sauce for the best chicken soft tacos at any fast food place. Wiring reviews for fast food places is something I very rarely do as I just don't go to them often except Del as like I said it's actually good and this location is just as good as the ones back home in Cali that I grew up going to! This was the best Del Taco we have ever been to, thus getting the 5 star approval rating. We liked it so much that we returned one more time before leaving Florida! The prices were much cheaper as well. The staff we encountered both times were amicable, which is always a plus. Our first trip here was late at night and we were not expecting much, considering it is a Del Taco. The bean & cheese burritos with green sauce were much larger than we were used to from our neck of the woods and the ingredients were fresh and hot. Tasty to say the least! The wife ordered the Del combo beef & bean burrito and carne asada stuffed quesadilla taco. She could not believe how tasty and well made it was. On our second trip, mid day, I ordered one of the burritos and concurred. It is not "authentic" Mexican food, but it sure hit the spot! Welcome to the neighborhood old friend! Never have I been so excited for a fast food restaurant to open as when Del Tacos sign went up about a year or so ago. Where else can you go for a Taco or burrito and add an iced coffee and fries?!?! I mean seriously? On this our first stop, on opening day we were greeted at the drive thru with a smile and a copy of the menu which now has a home near my moms recliner in case she has a Del emergency. Once we made to the order screen we were greeted and asked for a name for the order and then I chose a snack Taco and two chicken rollers, where mom opted for the Epic Chicken Cali Burrito meal. I had never been to Del Taco before and always assumed it was just a competitor in Taco Bell's image. When I saw this location carries a 4.5 rating on Yelp, it seemed like a no brainer because I was looking for something quick and easy. I've given them a generous 4 star rating. The carne asada soft tacos I had were good. The steak had a nice flavor and was tender. It felt like the prices were very steep for what I got. The combo came with fries, but they were almost inedible. Overly salted and soggy disasters. I would have much rather had a third taco. I did order a snack size strawberry shake. This was really good and I recommend. If I was to come back I might try something else that would give me a bigger portion size, and value for the cost. Drive thru takes way too long, and they just leave you sitting at the speaker, no greeting or anything, until you're finally like "hello?" And then they say they'll be with you in a moment. I was back in the area and decided to stop and pick up a little something with Taco Tuesday in mind. This is my second time at a location in just a few weeks and what a difference. For the second time in a row I ordered a Crunchtada with ground beef added. I feel like they were like night and day. The one I received a couple weeks back was piled high with toppings and was truly fantastic with the only problem being that when they gave it to us it was in the bag stacked on its side so the entire thing had to be rebuilt in order to eat it. On this occasion I didn't have that problem but it had a pitiful amount of toppings by comparison. I would estimate it had maybe a third of the toppings that the other one had. It was still tasty but not nearly as filling. Up to this point I've been very happy with this location even though I've only had a few opportunities to stop here. I hope this was just a one-off but I will keep an eye on things as I get the opportunity to eat here. On the plus side I also ordered three of the snack tacos on their Taco Tuesday deal and they worked out fairly well. The best part of my entire meal was the cinnamon roll shake that I decided to try. I have to say that for a seasonal shake this is one of the best ones I have ever had and I believe the first one that I felt the need to chew parts of it. I had high expectations going into this because of how much my friend talked them up and they did not disappoint. The food, I ordered the number one and a carne asada quesadilla taco. The tacos came filled to the top with meat cheese and lettuce. The shell itself was thicker than I expected and that made a huge difference when you compare to other places like Taco Bell. The fries were crisp and the queso-taco, while I wasn't a big fan of it due to the outside cheese I didn't enjoy the taste of the carne asada. Will eat again before I leave. read more

This is my 3rd try giving Del Taco a chance . The first two issues was due to temperature issues which i relayed to the manager . He tried to offer me free tacos but that's not why i called . First off, I am huge fan of Del Taco and always stopped by a location when I was near by. So when I found out they were opening near my house I was beyond excited! I stopped in today, and I think it's day one for them. There were managers everywhere and employees were working hard from welcoming us all as we entered, cleaning tables, to thanking us s we left. We went on December 15, 2021 for the official grand opening. We chose to be there around 2pm to avoid the lunch or dinner rushes. As soon as we entered the drive they line, a friendly person handed us a giant menu and directed us to the left side. There are two lanes for ordering that merge right away to one lane for paying and picking up your order. Our order was ready quickly and Amaya at the window was super friendly too. She chatted with us as our order was being bagged up. We could see lots of people working inside the kitchen. They were ready for us! We just had the chicken tacos as they are our favorite from when we have visited other locations. Delicious and fresh tasting. There is a dining room inside, but we had our pups so we chose to use the drive thru. Next time we will try some new things, and check out the inside. There is parking all around the building. You can enter the parking area at 192 or by turning at the light at Scott Blvd and then into the Aldi parking lot. There is a lane way behind Aldi that will take you to the back of this building, and right to the drive thru. read more
