Chipotle is a fast food style Mexican restaurant chain. There are numerous locations around Orlando and the US actually. This specific location recently opened. It is located near Disney College Program housing so I have a feeling it is going to be very busy. We have been here a few times already and have had a good experience. This location also has a drive thru which I have never seen before so that is very new for me. I prefer to go in and watch them order since I have had my order really messed up in the past when ordering online. I think since this location is new we need to give some grace to them as the employees learn their new job and roles. I have not had any major issues but a few hiccups each time I have come. Their menu is pretty small actually with only having bowls, burritos, quesadillas, tacos and salads. Their protein include chicken and steak with some additional options as well. Then they have a few toppings that can be added to your meal. They also serve chips with either guacamole, salsa or queso. As I mentioned this location is new, so they need a little grace. Last time I visited, I was the only one waiting and the person took about 3-5 minutes talking to another employee, actually complaining about something. I thought it was not professional with a customer standing there. The cashier also struggled giving us the right things we ordered. We ordered chip and ended up being given the kids chips (which were totally brown). I've also noticed that they are always low on food and no one ever seems to be cooking. At other locations there is someone always in the grill area but not here, it's always the bottom of the barrel. However, I do enjoy Chipotle. I think they are decent priced for what you get. This location is new, and still very clean. It's pretty large for inside and has a decent number of tables. My big issue with Chipotle in general is the speed. They are always rushing you and not really listening so you have to repeat yourself numerous times or stop them from adding something you didn't ask for. Overall, this is a typical Chipotle, nothing special has stood out yet but it is closer to our home so we will be headed back in the future. read more

This is now my favorite Chipotle location in Central Florida! The wait was less than five minutes, all the workers were actually working and the portions/quality of the food was as expected. Im sure almost everyone has heard of Chipotle and they are one o my favorite fast food style restaurant. They are simply put, a Mexican restaurant chain. They have many many locations around Orlando, Florida and the US. We finally have one that recently opened near our home. This location is near Disney College Program housing in the Flamingo Crossing area. It has not been open very long but it is already very busy! My wife and I have been here a few times already and have had some good experiences. We have always taken our food to go so we have not actually eaten inside. This location also has a drive thru and to be honest, that might be the first time I have ever seen a drive thru Chipotle. Personally, we prefer to go inside and watch them make our food. My wife has had orders in the past made incredibly wrong when she has ordered online or delivery so we now always go inside. I am going to say, we have had some good experiences here and some just ok, however, since this location is new, we need to give some grace to them. Their employees are still learning their new job and roles, how to do things and such. I see a lot of negative reviews and honestly, they just opened. Let's have a little grace for them. Their menu is very small and condensed. The one thing I don't like about their menu, is they do not list everything and it is a little hard to read. They basically have bowls, burritos, quesadillas, tacos and salads. I don't believe the quesadillas are even listed, but my wife recently just asked if she could order one and they do have them for kids and adults. Their protein options include chicken, steak, barbacoa and a couple other options. At times throughout the year, they have special options with most of them only being there for a short amount of time. On top of that, there are a few toppings that can be added to your meal such as queso, salsa, cheese, sour cream and corn. They also serve chips with either guacamole, salsa or queso. The chips with guacamole, salsa and queso is an extra charge and not included in your meal. Last time we visited, my wife and I were the only ones waiting and the employee took about 3-5 minutes to talk to another employee, and actually started complaining about something. This is not great customer service, at one point, she did acknowledge us telling us she would be there in a moment but then continued her conversation. The cashier also really struggled giving us the things we ordered such as the chips. My wife asked for a large bag of chips and we were given the kids chips. We really hate to complain but the price was a factor so we had to say something. And then the whole bag of chips was basically burnt and broken, it was mostly crumbs and pieces. I've also noticed there is never anyone cooking which is weird, and their food is always low. They never seem to have enough. Granted I do think they are trying to work on their flow and needs. Despite this, I do enjoy Chipotle. I think they are decent priced for what you get and I think it is a little healthier if you are wanting to grab something fast. This location is new, still very clean, large for the inside and has a lot of tables inside and then outside. They always have a drive thru! My biggest issues with Chipotle as a whole if the speed. They are either extremely slow and it takes you forever to order or they rush you so much they don't even listen to you as you order. Not everyone wants the salsa and the corn. Overall, this is a typical Chipotle, nothing special apart from that Drive thru, but it is close to our home, so we will definitely be back. read more

This is my local Chipotle. Today, my food was spicier than usual, so I could not eat it. It was also missing my extra side of guac. Pickup times are not accurate, especially since they only have one person preparing to-go and drive-thru orders, while another person is working as the cashier(they were clearly trying their best). This is something they need to improve, but it also seems to be because of the way the location is set up. read more

What took me by surprise was the sweet young lady who greeted me at the pick up window with a smile, asked my name, grabbed my order bag and said 'have a blessed day, Miss Lauren.' This was the new one in flamingo crossing. Entry from the Main Street is actually kinda hidden and you have to enter by Starbucks. They do that a drive through pick up lane at this location. Bathrooms were clean and there was a fair amount of seating. Service was quick. I did order ahead but my food wasn't in the pick up area. I still had to ask for it. It was pretty packed in there, several people sharing the long tables. The seats for the long tables were backless stools so fyi for kids. I was nervous there wouldn't be enough high chairs but there were 3 that were clean and functioning. Staff was cleaning tables frequently! read more

We've given this Chipotle more than a few chances, and it's almost always a letdown. Drive-through orders are consistently wrong. Most recently tonight--our burrito looked like it belonged on a kids menu, half the size it should've been (a McDonald's snack wrap is bigger). The bowls were half empty, and my kid's meal didn't even come with the chicken. We had to drive all the way back (our fault for not checking, sure), but when we did, there was zero apology. No sense of urgency, no regret. We tried to explain that forgetting the main protein in a meal is a pretty big deal, but the manager just didn't care. This location is new, so we've been patient--but it really needs better leadership. It's a shame, because the spot is convenient and we actually like Chipotle overall. I will return in a couple of weeks and update this review. We live a couple minutes away. This is based on my only visit in their very first week. They certainly need to get settled and hopefully they will improve in time. We visited on Saturday afternoon. We ordered through the app and tried to pick up using their Chipotle-Lane. We had to make three rounds to finally be able to pick up our order. The person in the window apologized. On top of the delay, they did not have any vinaigrettes left. Most Chipotles have bad reps, so we did not have high expectations. One of our entrees had no salsa and so was dry, another was salty, and another was missing rice. I will forgive them for now and chalk this up as growing pains. read more

Yuck. We went at noon today and the rice, chicken, beans and queso in our bowls were cold. It was absolutely disgusting. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location if you ever want to be able to eat Chipotle again. With 7+ employees standing around, you'd think they could be taking food temps.
