Not only does the center have a great pool but also 2 water slides, diving board, a splash area, and water rock climbing wall. The different areas of the pool is divided by water ropes and there are lifeguards assigned to each area to ensure the safety of patrons. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas if you want to read or take a cat nap while there. There is a picnic area and also a small playground and sand volleyball if that tickles your fancy. The bathrooms were spotless and had showers and changing areas. Due to the event being private we had catered food but there is a concession stand to buy snacks and food while at the center if need be. This is a great place to bring the whole family for water fun!

Maybe going during the middle of the week when people are at work helped. My kids loved the big pool area with all the fun tools and toys. They also likes the slide, but I would suggest they have a lifeguard who is comfort with kids and telling them to get in line be there because the poor kid who was there was not at all. I thought the price was good for non-residents. A little high, but I get it. I liked that they didn't care about you bringing food in and had plenty of grass, shaded spots to sit with my kids. We had a really great time and will come back again next summer!

Thank god for the under hour no parking fee, it was great for my quick 45 minute stop. I sat along the riverwalk by the aquarium and it was beautiful. The views are amazing of the city. Newport was very lively with people and families walking all around, enjoying the weather. If I had more time I would have stopped by the food trucks/stations but that'll be for next time!

The festivals are always a hit. A couple summers ago the Louis Prima band was there, which was excellent! Very entertaining. The levee mall area lacks foot traffic fluidity. The feng shui is so off, even outside of it. We haven't gone to bowl (can you access it from inside the mall?) and it's been forever that we've gone to the theater to catch a movie. The aquarium is for families, which you see a lot of in this area. There are a couple restaurants around the area that we like but AT the levee we can pass pretty much all them. I got 6 of the Honey Bourbon & 6 of the Traditional Hot with ranch & blue cheese with a Miller Lite. The wings came out & were literally fall off the bone tender. Every. Single. One. The bones could be pulled out clean with no meat. I've never had wings like this from any other place. It's a mini golf course & a driving range with a sleeper on craft food. Don't drive by - stop in! I'd hit it...again.
