Weights are left on everywhere. There's a couple who on Weds and Suns are on at least 5 leg things at the same time time and yell at you if you go near them. The Smith machine is an issue, there needs to be one more at least. An older member likes to use it for an hour while he use 4 other thing. The scary homeless guy is going to break it soon. He needs to be watched, he doing some creepy stuff. Great place and equipment but the people suck

The membership price is affordable and locker rental is very convenient. The club is clean and comfortable. The members are welcoming and courteous. A family owned establishment. They found ways to accommodate COVID regulations while still catering to members needs for basic services. I would recommend this club to anyone! Also Silver Sneakers approved.

My Mr. and I just moved and was looking for a gym nearby. It was either going to be the Anytime…read moreFitness in the Columbia-Tusculum area on Route 50 or this location in Mariemont. Both are close but I chose this place because the commute has less traffic, the clientele is laid back, the availability of the machines (even at peak times) and great management. We don't need state of the art equipment. Just enough to get the job done. There are Enough cardio machines, free weights and nautilus machines to go around. Classes are offered via computer. Check the schedule. There are two showers (unisex) and storage for your gear at the front. This place does not offer hydro massage or a sauna room. The best part about this place is the convenience. You have a card that scans at the door and you can workout anytime. 24 hour facility. Jarred (manager) was very friendly, detailed and went though the monthly contract thoroughly. No pressure and the pricing is very reasonable . Plus they keep the facility clean. I love it here. I feel more motivated to go to the gym. I never have to wait for a machine and there are no egos!

They spend exorbitant amounts of time on machines while listlessly staring at their phones without a single care for others. Well, I wanna get my workout in and get out, not wait on a social media addict to waste my time. Anytime Fitness has now become that place that's anything BUT Planet Fitness. This location may be small, but it has everything my lady and I need, and doesn't have the disrespectful clientele. One price ($34 a month) gets you access to all locations, plus an annual fee of $25, so a little more than PF, but I'll pay it for the advantage of being able get my workouts in on my terms instead of someone else's. Tired of Planet egos? Head to Anytime Fitness. Get your gains on!

It's ok. Only one smith machine so don't ever expect to be able to use that. I've been going here…read moresince late summer 2025 and it's been available once. And yes I go at diff times diff days of the week. If they aren't able to add another one my suggestion would be to have a sign up on the half hour. There's also zero hot water, not even warm, and I've tested every shower in the women's locker room. I also tested the faucets. Water only freezing cold.. So do not plan on showering. I notified management but nothing changed. Now I know why I'm the only one getting ready for work after a workout lol. The mason crunch has warm water, so one would assume it's not crunch policy to only have a polar plunge shower option.

I recently canceled my Crunch Fitness Anderson membership. Here's why:…read more I am a 75 year old male; I like to hit the gym several times a week and have been doing so for many, many years. I've been a Crunch Anderson member since early 2021, shortly after I arrived in Cincinnati. I really liked Crunch, a low-cost exercise facility with a variety of equipment for strength training. I have several gym friendships there. I had been a bit disappointed for a while at how much of the equipment was out-of-service due to needing repair. What I had not realized is that a particular piece of equipment, one of the leg extension machines, was broken. One Saturday morning early summer I was finishing up - it was a legs day - on the leg extension machine - either there was no out-of-service sign on the machine or, if there was one, it wasn't obvious. . As I exited the machine, the roller partially came off, tripping me. I fell face first and broke my nose. I bled profusely, Emergency Services was called, and I was taken to Mercy Hospital where I spend the next couple hours under observation after undergoing a CAT scan. I was very, very lucky to have only broken my nose - it is still a bit sore at times, but pretty much healed up. I could have broken a wrist or an arm, could have suffered a brain-bleed. The staff was, of course, wonderful: Performing first aid, calling Emergency Services, and staying with me until I was taken to Mercy by Emergency Services. So why, you ask, have I canceled my membership? Because the next-to-last time I visited Crunch, a couple weeks after my accident, the leg extension machine where I injured myself was still unrepaired, still in use. Crunch staff about this, unconcerned. This leads me to question Crunch Anderson's commitment to member safety. Hence, I am no longer a Crunch member, which makes me sad. PS. Not in Reson, VA, contrary to what Yelp says. Am in Cincinnati , OH

Joe Moses is an extraordinary professional, devoted to his clients and uniquely skilled at getting…read morethe best results for the time invested. I first encountered Joe at the Mercy Healthplex in Anderson Township, where he was that facility's top trainer as measured by client revenue. After working with him for a few months, I realized why he was in such demand. Joe evaluates a client's stated objectives and the client's attitude and appetite for training, then provides an effective approach that doesn't overwhelm the client's ability to perform. In my case I asked Joe to keep it fresh, providing a variety of exercises to keep our sessions interesting. With his depth of knowledge, providing variety was easy for him. I never knew you could work so hard without actually touching a piece of iron. He introduced me to bands, balls and moves that relied solely on the weight of my own body, mixing these in with more traditional exercises using all of the equipment available at the Healthplex. Joe eventually opened his own practice, working out of a large, bright suite in an office building in the Cherry Grove area. I was skeptical, doubting that working with such a reduced array of equipment would be as enjoyable or effective. One session relieved me of those concerns. My workouts leave me both exhausted and energized, and I feel no lack of equipment or variety. I bring my ipod, which docks in Joe's sound system, so I work out to my own music. The smaller, quieter space actually allows for more communication and less distraction. Finally, I would point out that, as an older client (over 60), my body is more prone to injury. Joe's work with me has never produced an injury, but he has often had to work around injuries (usually inflamed tendons and ligaments) and help in facilitating their repair. That kind of skill is invaluable to me at my age. In summary, anybody with a certificate can load a barbell and play drill instructor. The true professional produces consistent results while sustaining the client's commitment to a program. Based on my experience, Joe Moses is best in class.
