While it seemed nice walking in, the massage told a different story. The beds were hard as hell! And the blankets they provided were so thin and small. We had an appointment at 11 but didn't get started till 11:25 and our massages ended at 11:13. Not to mention they kept going in and out of the room to grab stuff. We called around 6 pm to see if they had availability for a couples massage at 7. They said yes for 75 min massage and I asked if they do 90 minutes or not. It wasn't very coherent what she said on the phone because of her accent but she wasn't really willing to do 90 min and pushed for 60 or 75 minutes. I asked if we showed up a bit earlier like 6:30 if they could do 90 minutes and she said yes. After hanging up, she called back to ask if we could come at 7-7:10 because they had walk ins come in just now. I told them yes to starting at 7 pm for the massage. We showed up around 6:45 because we wanted to confirm pricing and use the bathroom before we started at 7. We confirmed we wanted to do the 90 min combo (30 min foot/60 min body) and we needed to use the restroom first before starting at 7. She kind of dismissed what we said and ushered us into a room since we arrived early. I asked where the restroom was and she told us where to find it. I asked my boyfriend to bring us different pants to change into to roll up since the foot massage they typically also massage the bottom leg portion as well. After we finished using the restroom, I went back to the room they placed us in and there were water buckets in front of the seats. We changed into shorts and sat there with our feet in the water for a minute or two until the masseuse came in around 6:55 and they took the bucket away. My boyfriends masseuse went to work right away around 6:56 and my masseuse my complaining about how the cover used for my footstool was the wrong length and went to go get the right sized one. She didn't start on my massage until 7:00. My boyfriend's masseuse went ham on his feet and body and my masseuse kept getting up and leaving the room multiple times for whatever reason. She also stopped 60 min into the massage and said that it's complete to her coworker but the coworker said it's a 90 min massage not 60. So she stopped my massage to go to the front to confirm then came back complaining about how she thought it was 60 not 90 minutes. My massage was mediocre at best. She didn't really seem to know what she was doing to be honest. The pressure was not consistent. It would be hard one second then soft the next. But majority of the time it was very light. For hot stones, they also did not give us a prior warning before placing it on our body or ask if it's too hot or if it's okay. I wore a pony tail so that my hair would not get in the way and before massaging my scalp, instead of asking me or letting me know she's going to loosen my ponytail, she just tugged at my hair tie to loosen it. By 8:15, there was new walk ins and the front desk lady came into our room to ask our masseuse if they can do a 30 min massage right after they finish with us. We finished the massage at 8:20 which is 80 minutes. When paying, I asked my boyfriend how much we should tip and we ended up doing $30 total which is $15/person. Typically, the masseuse would greet us at the front with water and you can personally hand them the cash tip there. However, they weren't there and no water was offered either. We wanted to tip my boyfriends masseuse more than my masseuse but since the tip was done via credit card, there was no way to actually know if they're going to give the proper tip amount to whom we wanted to give more to. So we settled for the $15/person. Their suggested tip amount for a 90 min massage is $20/person for a "fair" massage. I told them how the massage ended 10 min early and she said no, there was no shortage of time because we came early and they start the time based on when they place the water bucket in the room. So instead of starting when we wanted to start at 7, they started it on their own time because we got there early even though we said we wanted to use the restroom before starting at 7. We honestly wanted to tip lower with her explanation but we just left it as is with $15/person. She had a clear distaste on her face with our tip amount. The rooms are cleaned between each guest. There is relaxing music and lighting. I got the full body massage, I thought about adding a deep tissue massage. Boy am I glad I didn't. Gemma truly provided a full body. She worked from the top of my head to the soles of my feet and everything in between,-nose, ears, , fingers, toes, buttocks. (Nothing offensive or sexual by any nature). Gemma was a wiz with the hot stones. And she used several of them versus just one or two. Before going; I read other reviews the number 1 issue was related to tipping. I think this will be my go-to massage place from now on! It was kind of late to get in for a 60-min massage without an appointment; it was past 8pm. I was desperately needing one as I had had stressful weeks. I needed to have my tense muscles and tensions released/relieved. Upon searching on Yelp, this place came up so I called them to see if I could walk in. The answer from the guy on the other end was a firm yes. I jumped out of my couch, grabbed my purse and headed my way. The massage was phenomenal. The $55 60-min massage was very thorough and consistent in pressure, and it even included 5 to 10 min of hot stone at the end. I walked in for a foot reflexology massage (I love these) but it wasn't on the menu front desk lady assured me every one could do this and to pick a time off the menu. I chose the 60 mins for $65 when the therapist came in I asked to please mostly focus on feet. Once she started in my neck I asked if we could switch to a 90 min ($90) because it felt nice and I had the time to spare. Really nice massage even though she just barely worked on my feet it still was a nice experience and I was going to book an appointment for my sister. Then it gets weird- front desk then tells me it's $2 extra for credit card fee (not cool- I run my own spa and it's a business expense but whatever) then when I add a $20 tip they both frown and the front desk ask why can't I leave more?!?! That's 20%.... I've never been asked to leave more AND since when was 20% frowned on? I'm in this industry, tips are appreciated but definitely not expected at my day spa. Located in the same lot as Hmart, QQ does Reflexology which is a type of pressure point massage. 'Shiatsu' means finger pressure which is different than the traditional American oil body massages. Depending on your preference this type of pressure can be very harsh for first timers. I recommend telling the therapist before hand to use less pressure. Note the 60 min massage takes place in a community room not a private suite. The owner at this location was very friendly and they take appointments over the phone. There are many places around Denver and this place is one of the cleanest. They have both female and male therapists on staff and your massage quality will vary depending on who you get. Go here if you want to pay normal massage prices and get extorted to tip 40%! I give two stars because we've been there twice and the massages are actually decent. The place has a nice atmosphere and it's clean. But both times, the people working the front desk were not friendly. Last night, I called to make a reservation and when we showed up, the man questioned both of us as to whether or not we had called? He then says we are going to do 60 minutes, even though they were open for another 90 minutes, and he tells us we are doing full body massage. I hesitate and ask my friend, is that what you want to do? He says yes and we go back, even though I didn't want a full body massage or 60 minutes. We do the massages and he goes to pay, and tips 20% of the total. Mind you, most Chinese massage places charge much lower massage rates so that they make up the difference in tips, and so tipping 40% is typical. However, in the case of this business, they charge what are essentially normal industry rates, so a full body 60 minute massage is $55. When my friend signed the receipt and wrote the tip, the man sayid something, unintelligible, then something again, 'what is that number?' It was a full 20% on what we paid, and so then he apparently says that number in Chinese, one of the massage therapist scoffs and responds, 'tssk!' . I quickly realize what's going on and to avert the situation, because it seemed to be escalating quickly and they seemed angry, we gave an additional $25 cash, which was at the top of the suggested tip according to their sign. Still, even then, they were barely friendly and we couldn't get out of there fast enough. As we reflected later that night on what happened to us, from start to finish, minus the decent massages, we decided it was such an awful experience that we will never return. We will continue to look elsewhere for a more traditional Chinese Massage experience. By that, I not only mean the prices, but a place that does a foot massage with a body massage with oil (e.g., unclothed). This place has very different practices from most Chinese massage places, and I've been going to them for nearly 20 years now, in various cities. Not impressed. read more

A decent massage for a good price. It's $45 for one massage or if you buy a package of 6 it's $240, saving you $5 a trip which is very fair price for a massage. The place is clean and staff is very friendly. For a full body massage, they'll also use hot stones on your back which was a nice surprise. They do seem pretty busy though so I would recommend making an appointment. We walked in to get a massage for 2 on a Friday afternoon and waited about 20 mins to be squeezed in between two of the masseuse's other appointments. My only complaint is that because it was so busy, the owner decided to work too so that meant no one was manning the front desk so she brought the phone into our massage room so during our massage session, she was picking up phone calls and running in and out of the room to check on things. My friends and I went to QQ massage on Monday 9/12/22 and It was incredible. We received an hour-long deep tissue massage. My therapist was Lvy. She was so talented, and I was impressed by her skill! The environment was very calm and relaxing. Staff were outstanding in customer service and making us feel comfortable. My problem areas feel a thousand times better and the rest of my body is much better off after the work was finished. Everyone who works there is very friendly and professional. We decide to check this one out and was surprisingly thrilled. The massages were done professionally the women who did our massages were very nice and cordial. They played pressure hard because I did like a hard massage. It was interesting because I was not expecting them to actually be walking on our backs. I've been to other Asian massages that's in a bigger room that has no privacy with lay down chairs, so this is refreshing to see that this is more American-friendly massage where you can undress and lay flat on the massage table with private rooms. My massage therapist Jason was really good, great pressure and professional session. The only thing that I would change is to recommend them having clocks that don't tick in the massage rooms. There was soothing music but seems to me the ticking was louder for some reason. Otherwise the session was great finished with some hot stone and stretching. I will definitely be back. My wife and I have been going to QQ for many years and have always enjoyed our couples massages there very much (our current favorites are Shirley and Andy who are both extremely skillful and friendly.) We felt that QQ's prices were reasonable, which allowed us to be generous in tipping our massage therapists, while staying within our massage budget. But on our most recent visit we were surprised to be told AFTER our session that the prices have increased by 25%. Our 90 minutes couples massage went up $30 from $120 to $150. This unfortunately means we will have to choose between getting massages less frequently or tipping our therapists significantly less, both of which are undesirable. I understand that price increases are sometimes warranted, but I would hope that the owners reconsider and adjust their increase to a more reasonable amount. read more

From the phone call, i know it was too good to be true! I called and was answered by an older lady that sounded excited and happy to hear my voice. She had availability and was ready to do a two person massage for my sister and I. Upon arrival you can see that it's clean, and fresh and airy. Well lit and very inviting! The woman that I spoke to on the phone was smiling and greeted us like guests! She recommended full body with clothes off and she was right! Very private and very clean.
