When I walked in I was greeted by two ladies who showed me what they offered. Before I walked to the back, one of the ladies stated that I had to pay before getting the massage. I didn't think anything of it, I just paid them. *Skip to after my massage as I was walking out, a gentleman who was not African American, like me walked in and they greeted him like they greeted me. However, they did not make him pay for his massage before hand like they made me do..... Red flag #1 *Back to the massage appointment.... During the massage, the lady did a decent job. HOWEVER, I noticed she kept looking behind me on the floor and on the side of the chair where I was sitting, like she was looking for something, red flag #2. I tried to relax but I really couldn't, something seemed off. Well, when I got up from the massage, I finally saw what she kept looking at. It was a HUGE RAT about the size of a baby opossum. I jumped and immediately put on my shoes and walked up front. Y'all she tried to play it off as if the rat was not there. I was absolutely disgusted and I will never go back to this place again. **** I took a quick photo of the rodent, but I will only post it if they try to deny the rat problem. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere clean and where they treat EVERY customer the same!

Helen was touch and go on hitting pressure points...there was no hand or arm massage just neck, face and head...which I'm cool with because it was good. I was disappointed though in the actual foot massage...it was so gentle and pressure points there were hugely missed. I like the kneading of the muscles and joints ...it relieves the tension to that area but, again this was just literally a massage like my BF would give me with a few extra jabs thrown in. Once outside, my friend said she didn't like hers either for the same reasons. All in all, just a relaxing experience. The salon is very clean and tidy.

The class is well organized, an outline is provided and Kay is very knowledgeable and able to answer any question you may have. Kay structures the class so you do not feel overwhelmed by all the material and is very supportive. The treatment on my feet made me feel VERY relaxed. I got a hot foot bath beforehand and was even offered a paraffin wax treatment for my feet prior to my treatment! (I felt like I was at a mini-spa!) Stan Yip, the man behind Rejuvenate Massage, is a kind, thoughtful, and hardworking professional with incredibly detailed knowledge of the human body and how to treat it via conservative means. He responds quickly to text messages for scheduling appointments. I typically arrive 5 minutes before the appointment, and I find him in the waiting room waiting for ME. Wow! We get started immediately. Throughout the massage he answers my questions about pain points in the body. He even went so far as to look at my MRI so he could treat my condition with medical accuracy. I've never had a masseuse work so hard to please his clients. He does a great job of responding to tension and applying just the right amount of pressure. He also does a great job with cupping therapy. He is simply an outstanding masseuse. I would give him 6 stars if I could. I hope to find more professionals like Stan for helping other details of my life.
