They were responsive and quick - and picked up belongings from my husbands aunts house ahead of time, stored them for us, then brought them when they came to our apartment. They loaded the truck with everything in 2.5-3 hours. Literally no issues or concerns. The next day we headed to NY and they got there the same time we did. They were done unloading quickly - maybe four hours? And they were super friendly. When we realized later that they missed an item that they stored they made plans to take a trip, 6.5 hours away, to deliver it relatively quickly. They were very affordable too. They consistently reminded us that everything would be okay, and they meant it. This was not an easy move. The apartment was an attic unit in an older duplex with very narrow, steep stairs. There were also unexpected challenges, including needing to remove a door just to get the washer out. Fred and Stephan never complained once. They stayed focused, solution-oriented, and confident, which made an enormous difference for all of us. At one point, another tenant became upset about the U-Haul ramp being positioned in the driveway. Fred handled the situation calmly and respectfully, explaining there was enough room and offering a simple alternative route. Even when emotions were running high around us, both Fred and Stephan remained composed and professional, which helped keep the entire move on track. After loading everything, they followed us to the U-Haul storage unit and somehow managed to fit everything into a 5x9x10 unit. I truly did not think it could be done, but they packed it expertly and made full use of the space. This was an emotionally exhausting day for our family, and Fred and Stephan turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one that felt safe, manageable, and even reassuring. Their kindness and professionalism went far beyond what I expected from movers. They also offered to help us again when my niece moves into her new apartment, and we will absolutely be calling them. Super bummed about this one…read more Friendly guys--installed a 2nd story, stacked washing machine for us. I know it was an awkward, heavy job, and the layout of our house wasn't making anything easier. However, the company left large scratches in our wood floor finish. There wasn't any protection uses when pulling the old stacked unit out for replacement. They suggested we could buff the scratches out. This is not accurate... the finish is scraped off. If we buff it out, we'll just lose more finish. The big issue comes next. We ran the washing machine, since we had a lot of laundry piled up. When the cycle drained, the water started pouring out of our living room ceiling--the drain hose hadn't been connected properly or got disconnected during the install. Lastly, we had a Flood Stop mechanism attached to our old washer to prevent this exact issue from happening. During the install, one of the wires to the old Flood Stop was broken, rendering it useless. (A new Flood Stop is $286 on Amazon, for reference). The company hasn't been very interested in helping us out. We're really frustrated and hope that they can work with us to make this situation whole again. We need to repaint parts of the living room that had the paint balloon up with water, hope the water that came under the floor and out the ceiling doesn't lead to any long term issues, and replace our Flood Stop. These guys loaded a pod for me last year. We had a deal in writing that the charge was $425 for 2-3…read morehours. They got most things in the pod in less than 90 minutes, then the 2 helper guys just stood around while my husband and Paul did the rest. They used their pickup to ferry the boxes from the house to the pod, which really sped things up, but then the 2 helper guys covered the back of the truck and acted weird and frankly kind of menacing. Paul charged me an extra 100 dollars for using the truck even though they'd spent half the time loading because of it. They didn't really finish the job, but they were so intimidating that I paid it - $525 for about 95 minutes work. And I have spent a year looking for one box of religious artifacts that were supposed to be loaded on that pod - I can only assume that the two guys had shoved a box into the truck bed and were guarding it towards the end. I hope they enjoyed the relics of my dead nephew, which I would very much like to have back, and my meditation supplies. Perhaps they needed those things more than I did. Overcharged, plus missing things = worst mini-moving experience ever. Would not recommend.

Having movers booked, it could have been a much more stressful situation but Jason was kind and responsive via text in navigating the situation from booking through completion. He was flexible and solution oriented. His guys - Jarvis and Oscar squeezed me in hours after our initial time (once the POD actually arrived) and HUSTLED. It was a hot and muggy day, but these guys busted their butts. They were super professional, communicated well between each other and were very careful with our stuff. They had a 16x8x8 POD unpacked in a 2 story house in an hour (my mom and I did help some as well). Not to mention, they are much more affordable than most moving companies.
