I recently had the most incredible experience visiting an ostrich farm and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Our tour guide was not only extremely kind, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the ostriches and their habitat. Throughout the tour, our guide shared fascinating insights into the world of zoology, teaching us about the unique characteristics and behaviors of ostriches. It was evident that they were passionate about their work and genuinely enjoyed educating visitors about these magnificent creatures. The highlight of the tour was getting up close and personal with the ostriches. We were able to feed and interact with these incredible birds, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The farm was well-maintained and the ostriches appeared to be well-cared for, which was great to see. Overall, I can't recommend this ostrich farm enough. It was not only a fun and educational experience, but also a great opportunity to support local conservation efforts. I left feeling inspired and grateful for the chance to learn more about these fascinating animals. If you're looking for a unique and memorable adventure, be sure to visit this ostrich farm - you won't be disappointed! We left So HAPPY with 2 eggs!!!

Very interesting ostrich farm to visit. Very informative owners. Each ostrich has its own personality. The ladies seem to be very peaceful and like human interaction.

Took my family of 5 with kids 12 and 16 and they loved it. The gentleman doing the tour was very informative, fun and thorough. This was a quick tour, good enough to get out and keep the kids entertained awhile while staying in Frazier park which was a good 40 minutes away. Great place to visit and support.

I dont know where to start... with Jessica being friendly on the phone or with her mom Jackie being so nice and funny with welcoming us. Jackie started off greeting us warmly and saying we can take our masks off if we are comfortable or keep it on but there was so much space it was your choice. She educates on ostriches and lets you feed them. There are goats there too. Its not a big place but its a cool little stop. There is a playground right there for kids to also enjoy. Its a nice little stop to enjoy.

We went for our second time today in years and it was just as fun if not more fun than last time! Lou was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions and was funny and a great host. U can tell this man loves his birds and they love him. The property is great and the gift shop and we can't wait to come back!!!

Had a blast. It was a little bit of a drive and a relatively quick tour but they were very knowledgeable and have plenty of souvenirs

    The ostrich takes a nibble.

We only stayed a little over an hour here, but it was time well-spent. We called to make an appointment in advance, and the co-owner recommended coming earlier in the day rather than later because of the heat. I'm really glad we did because we arrived at 9:00 a.m. and left around 10:15 a.m., right when temperatures were starting to reach about 95 degrees. When we arrived, there was a family who had just finished wrangling up two baby ostriches to take home (I didn't know this was a "thing," but during our tour, our co-owner guide (pictured) mentions that he sells quite a few each year). We started out viewing a hollowed out ostrich egg, which my son promptly broke. We were given another, which he broke again, so we moved on. The owner was very understanding, for which I was very appreciative. We were taken back to the ostriches' pens, where the owner described how dangerous these birds were. They can outrun a grown man, and kill him, too. Their legs have a talon or hook, and when they feel threatened, they can kick backwards and pull up, essentially disemboweling their victim. Sounds like a gruesome death. They are very aggressive, so we had to be careful. We were advised not to feed them, but the co-owner, who also holds a degree in Zoology, stuck his finger out, and let the ostrich peck it so we could see how they eat. He mentioned that ostrich and emu meat is some of the healthiest red meat around, with emu meat being 97% fat-free and ostrich meat being 98% fat-free. It is quite expensive, too. We learned so much, and as a bonus, the co-owner and guide gave us some tips for some other family-owned animal-themed locations, like the wolf sanctuary, and the exotic cat rescue, that are family- and budget-friendly.

We took a family excursion to check out The Quail Run Ostrich Ranch and am so glad we did!!! We pulled into the Ranch (which has plenty of parking) and were immediately greeted by Jacquie, the owner. Jacquie is SUPER friendly and is quick to make you feel at home. She also is an incredibly talented artist with her ostrich egg art! They're truly remarkable. The tour started with being able to see and hold a fresh ostrich egg! It was very cool! They sell them for $40. Then we went over to one of the paddocks where we were greeted by three ostriches. I've been to Ostrichland USA before so I've had the experience of being up close with ostriches. But these three were WAY more docile than the ones at ostrichland! It was very cool being so close and having them just chill out while Jacquie told us about them. They have quite a few ostriches on the property (I think she said 26 or something like that) along with chickens and some goats. I had a great time and will absolutely be coming back here in July when they have babies!!! The reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 (5 being "as good as it gets") is that I wish there was a hint more to the tour. It was pretty much just the one paddock and we were done. Don't get me wrong, they invited you to stay as long as you wanted, but a few extra stops on the tour would have been cool. Full disclosure, unlike Ostrichland USA, where they are open as a tourist attraction, Quail Run is a working ostrich farm and they decided to start allowing guests to share these amazing birds with people. So it's a bit of a different thing. But again... 4 stars (Yay, I'm a fan!!!) is pretty darn good! I would absolutely recommend visiting!!! It's only $5/person with free parking and available restrooms. I'm excited to go back!!! Ps. You won't get reception here so plan accordingly when going home or to your next stop. We guessed wrong. Haha.

Gosh, I think his name was Josh, I couldn't remember.
    James E.

I think his name was Josh? I wish I took a note of his name because he was such a great tour guide. Friendly and had extensive knowledge on his birds. He really has a passion for his Ostriches. He knew each and every one of his birds by name, he could tell you their personalities, and what they were thinking. He could tell you about the Ostriches and their habits. There's just so much he knew and he was so passionate about it. He loves and takes care of these creatures. We were very impressed and it was a good time. We got to pet an ostrich and we let them bite at our fingers. It doesn't hurt. Their bite power is very weak, it felt like a little scratch. For $5 it was a tour well worth the money. It comes with a drink too. He provides you with water or Starbucks. He's got big hands too, I shook it and my hands could barely wrap around his. Excellent customer service. Make your way out here already.

So happen to stumble across this ranch on our way to go cherry picking . Right when we got there there was a gentleman that gave us a tour full of information about the animals and answered a of the kids questions . Gave us a little bit of history about the place and even himself . They aren't out to make money they simply love the birds and it shows . The tour was only five dollars and that came with feeding them and photo opportunities as well . They even have an area they rent out for parties or weddings and he showed us around that . It was awesome both the dad and the son were extremely friendly . So glad we ended up stopping by .

Look, it's a pair of ostriches, there's two of them.

THAT'S JUST FOWL!! Have you ever wanted to get up close and personal with an ostrich? Well, me and The Crew did, so we came here. For a measly $5.00 per person, we had a tour guide for our visit to the ranch, which included food to feed the big birds. Sitting under shade trees, at picnic tables on a cool Saturday morning, we got edumacated on all things ostrich, including ostrich history, mannerisms, health benefits from their oils, how the ranch got started, just to name a few topics. Once our brains were overloaded with the plethora of information, we roamed the ranch, observing their behavior and, of course, snapping lots of pictures. Ostriches are such odd characters. They are known to be... not very smart at all, and they do the silliest things. Their long neck, head the size of a fist, they have two toes on each foot, and their eyes are about the size of billiard balls. They have a gift shop with all things related to ostriches, including eggs for sale. You may want to bring a cooler if you want to purchase an ostrich egg or some farm fresh chicken eggs. One ostrich egg is the equivalent to approximately three dozen chicken eggs, contain less fat and cholesterol than chicken eggs, and can be frozen. IN AN EGGSHELL: Me and The Crew enjoyed our time at the ranch, gaining knowledge, holding an actual ostrich egg, they're so big!!! Running with the ostriches, pretending to try and fly, feeding them and observing them in their natural-ish state. A family owns and runs the ranch. Their policy is that an Ostrich that receives a name is a pet, therefore, they do not kill and eat them. All funds received are used to maintain the birds at the ranch. The tour includes several paddocks with mated named pairs of ostriches, such as Korea and Sweet Sam, Elvis and Drucilla, and so on. A tour highlight was their new "grow paddock" which now contains 14 babies of various ages that are growing fast! It's best to make reservations prior to visiting. It's a loooong drive from anywhere in the middle of nowhere, only to be asked to come back another day. FACTOIDS: - Ostriches can live to be 40 yrs old in the wild and 75 years in captivity. - Ostriches are the only bird in the world with only 2 toes. - The skin on their legs and feet are so tough that they are not vulnerable to snakes in their native Africa.

We had the best time here and would recommend to anyone. The owner who gave us a tour was so knowledgeable ( his degree in Zoology from UCLA was noticeable). Our three boys and my husband and I really learned all about ostriches, nature in general, and loved the tour. , delicious honey to be purchased too!

I heard they serve Bravery Brewing beer so I ordered the Rocktoberfest. Still one of my favs! I told Amber that I would be ordering a few items and will be needing to-go boxes to bring home to my Mom (sharing food is my love language). Here's what I ordered: -Pepper Jack Mac & Cheese bites with their homemade ranch -Ahi Tuna sliders -Cubano with homemade chips accompanied by their homemade pepper jack queso dip -Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding -Pepperoni pizza - to go The Mac & Cheese bites were crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. The inside had a sharpness to it, I'm assuming from a cheese they used. They were even better dipped in their homemade ranch. Do not leave without trying it!!! Ahi Tuna sliders. You guys.. don't walk, RUN to try these! I think my eyes rolled back in my head when I took my first bite. The tuna was tender, the slaw was crunchy, creamy and citrusy with a slight sweetness. The bun was soft and slightly sweet as well, and the fact that it was toasted, added a nice texture. I'd eat these breakfast, lunch and dinner. And probably for dessert, don't judge me. The Cubano was fantastic! I'm hoping I heard Neil correctly but they marinate the pork in a homemade mojo sauce. That was incredible! The bread was nicely toasted, the ham was smoky, the fontina cheese added a nutty, buttery flavor along with the balance from the crunchy pickles and acidity from the mustard. And the homemade chips with the pepper Jack queso were amazing! The perfect crunch and crispness, salted well and dipped in the creamy queso that had a hint of spice. Oh lawd! Absolute happiness Neil Behrman, the chef, was kind enough to come out and introduce himself. I was lucky enough to have a conversation with him where we shared about our love of cooking, I got to hear about how became a chef, about his Italian grandmother, where he's worked, and how food feeds our soul. I did try one bite from the chocolate croissant bread pudding and oh man, the ooey gooey buttery chocolatey goodness is amazing! FYI.. Both my parents loved and raved about the food! Dad's favs: pizza and chips. Mom's favs: EVERYTHING! Lol!

It was "enchanted forest amongst the dinosaurs" themed and had little nods to timeless films like Harry Potter, Edward Scissorhands, Jurassic Park, etc. Imagine a client telling you they want all that along with having to deal with very particular museum restrictions! Well, let me tell you... she went above and beyond to accomplish this eccentric bride's dream wedding!! Take it from me, weddings can be super overwhelming for a bride. Like decisions of what color napkins look good on the sweetheart table to how they coordinate with the linens on the cocktail tables, to making sure all the build staff are on the same page behind the scenes, to paperwork and communicating with all the dozens of vendors. I could not imagine doing this by myself! My head would have exploded! Not only was the design and organizing aspect completely handled and managed by Kari, she was also my personal therapist through months of planning and dealing with typical wedding pressures. Kari is a powerful force who gets the job done. She will let you cry on her shoulder and she will step up for you if you need someone who can grab 'em by the balls! I recommend Kari completely and if I had to do it all over again, I would hire her again and again. I plan to hire her when we renew our vows in 10 years and I'm sure I'll come up with an even more elaborate theme for her to play with. Get ready Kari!! Working with Kari was the most therapeutic experience of the entire wedding. She held my hand every step of the way, had patience for all my indecisiveness, and kept me sane on top of it all. The final product was literally ripped from my imagination and executed flawlessly. It was all a beautiful dream! From the bottom of my heart, thank you Kari! Mara Rouse-Turbin

At first, I was a little nervous because I didn't really know what to expect from a wedding planner or how involved the process would be. We met Chantel in November 2025, even though our wedding wasn't until March 2026, and from the moment I shook her hand, I knew we were in good hands. Chantel truly glows with excellence, and that showed throughout the entire planning process. She quickly became our right-hand person when it came to bringing our dream wedding to life. Chantel has a way of making you feel completely supported -- almost like an instant best friend -- someone you genuinely trust with one of the most important days of your life. Her communication and attention to detail were incredible. From the smallest decisions like napkin colors to helping coordinate a no-first-look wedding morning timeline, she handled everything with professionalism, calmness, and expertise. She always made sure things stayed organized and stress-free. One thing that stood out the most was her ability to coordinate with all of our vendors and cultivate a strong team environment, ensuring that everyone was aligned and always putting us -- the couple -- first. Because of Chantel, our wedding day felt seamless, joyful, and truly like a dream come true. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment knowing everything was in such capable hands. My wife and I honestly wish we could give her 10 stars instead of 5. Chantel is amazing at what she does, and we are so grateful she was part of our wedding journey. If you are considering Party Pros or working with Chantel, you will absolutely be in the best hands.

From the moment we connected during the planning process, everything was organized, clear, and extremely professional. As a catering company, communication and coordination with the event planner are critical, and Chantel made the entire experience smooth and stress-free for everyone involved. Her timelines were well thought out, she kept vendors informed, and she made sure everything flowed perfectly throughout the event. Because of that, our team was able to focus on what we do best -- serving great food and taking care of guests. What really stood out was how respectful and collaborative she was with all the vendors. When planners create that kind of environment, it truly elevates the entire event experience. If you're planning a wedding or special event and want someone who is organized, professional, and genuinely cares about the success of your event, I highly recommend Chantilly Lace Event Planning. Looking forward to working together again soon. -- Fernando Lira 805 Quesa Birria Tacos Catering
