Lots of dogs typically around 5 (apparently... today was my first time here with my dog but I spoke to a few people) Yes... there is an entry fee of $5 and proof of vaccination IS required. If you find the park to your liking, as long as your dog is up to date on vaccination, you are eligible for a one year membership which is only $40, the $40 will be good for up to 3 dogs that are your own (meaning, you don't have to pay $40 per dog if you have more than 1). I spoke to the lady who runs the park- she is very very sweet. She told me there is a Facebook group called Maryland dog park community. It seems there's lots of pictures and videos and events posted in this account, all from this location. I'm looking forward to getting this membership and bringing my pup here! They close pretty early..open pretty late but there is always someone here and they lock up at closing time. They take dog play seriously...meaning no fighting of OUT you go! We feel pretty safe here...and there are trails and sports going on all around.

There isn't a bathroom exactly near the field, and I asked a lady who was working in the booth at the dog park yesterday evening if he could use the portable potty (I understand and am aware it wasn't a public restroom) and she said "no because you and those people on that football team are always causing problems". That situation was very frustrating and unhelpful, especially when an 8 year old child has an urgent bathroom need. I am also aware park booth attendants must follow site rules, but refusing a child in an emergency due to unrelated group issues lacks basic common sense and empathy.

The park rangers were extremely kind and helpful. We can't wait to go back and hangout. The website was unclear but the test is only needed for daycare or boarding....not the day pass. If I wasn't pregnant, I'd be having a FAT drink. My German Shepard loves the cold water tubs. They occasionally have towels to offer- so nice. I'd bring my own if driving.

I get so bored at the dog park so bark social is a fun twist in the routine. Having a beer and watching all the pups play is the best. Love their beer selection, lots of local favorites on tap. Food is ok, not great, wraps and flatbread pizzas (a shareable size). Go the pizza path. They have a small section for little dogs, which is great, but usually quite dead. We usually opt for the main area, in the summer water basins (kind of like a doggie plunge pool) and ice cube drops are staples. The dogs love it. While their staff is EXCEPTIONAL, they keep an eye on dog's safety and are on top of cleanliness, Bark Social still comes with the common pains of your standard dog park. A little more so, as some patrons leave a little too much responsibility with the staff to monitor dogs. No dog toys allowed. Overall, always have a blast here. Highly recommend a visit. Bonus: they have a lot of TVs, I plan to spend football season here as much as possible this year.

Ok. This dog park is fine. It has 2 grassy pens for small & medium/large dogs. And there is some…read moreshade around the perimeter & a few benches. This dog park is perfectly fine except for 3 MAJOR major issues. 1) You have to walk a good 12+ mins to get to it from the parking lot. It is not accessible by car. 2) There is no water source for the dogs which in the Spring, Summer & Fall is a pain in the keester. I lugged a gallon bottle of water & my 3 dogs drank half of it after 30 mins there. After an hour, it was completely empty bc other dogs had come & were thirsty also. 3) There was a couple who brought an UNALTERED MALE PIT BULL to the park. HE WAS AGGRESSIVE & it was clear he was not the type to play with other dogs. They brought them to the other pen & he was trying to eat my puppy through the chain link fence. I grabbed my dogs & left immediately. NOT OKAY AT ALL to bring an AGGRESSIVE UN-NEUTERED DOG TO A DOG PARK! NOT COMING HERE AGAIN FOR ALL OF THOSE REASONS.
