There's a good variety of interesting and even rare items, at reasonable prices (which I understand are set by the booth owners and not the store owner, but still). There's always good music playing. There are more sections in the store than it looks like from the outside, but it's not overwhelming or hard to navigate like some other antique stores. And every time I've been, the items for sale do appear to have been cleaned at some point in the last 50 years, which again is unlike some other stores.

The owner must be careful in who she allows to have a stall, because every single stall had quality items worth browsing. I went at Christmas time and loved the selection of antique Christmas items as well. I purchased a Spode Christmas vase, Lenox nut bowl, Lenox ash trays (that will work as tiny nut plates), spoon rest in a rare retro atomic burst pattern, and a beautiful tea cup. As someone who always struggles to find gifts for others, this store is perfect for me. This store had the best feel of all of them, having a lot of inventory, but organized well and you didn't feel claustrophobic. There were so many interesting pieces there. It's better than a lot of other second-hand stores I've been to that overprice literally everything in the place. I saw some items I hadn't seen in a while, and there was ample things to look through, including some old video game accessories I hadn't seen in years! While quaint and has a lot of cool things to see, it's still definitely a second-hand store, and has a bit of a grime feel to it. Probably should keep some hand sanitizer at the ready when done. I didn't find anything that called out enough for me to purchase, so I can't speak to the staff or service there. From what I saw though they appeared friendly. Sort of appreciated the old-school nature of the front desk operations. I might be back, but probably infrequently.

They have a huge selection from multiple different vendors in a rather large store. Staging wasn't perfect but the products that they were carrying were amazing and prices that couldn't be beat. I took a lamp here that I had tried (unsuccessfully) to rewire myself. The original design was very…read moreprecarious and when I took it apart, I found the previous owner had really crammed any and everything they could to get this lamp upright and working. They had cut the bottom open crudely with a soldering iron and left it open and jagged. The lamp was always crooked, wobbling, tilted, and never screwed tight so I thought I would definitely improve it after rewiring it but- I could not figure out how to put it back together and so it sat in pieces, my beautiful lamp, in the back of my car for years. I wish I had taken pictures of it before I brought it to Pat Eggings in a bucket. Just so you could see the stark comparison of my sad lamp reduced to nuts, bolts, vintage brown glass globes, bronze/brass pillars, to this sturdy, solid and completely restored piece of art. He even put a perfectly cut slab of masonite on the bottom to safely close the jagged opening that had been carved on the bottom. The price was very reasonable and I will happily come to them with all my lamp repair needs! Of course it's also a great place to shop for one of a kind antiques and collectibles. Thank you so much!

Quality varies due to the lot and the estate being shown. The auctioneer is fun and interesting to watch and sometimes I just go to see who gets what and for how much. Some items are super interesting and as the auction progresses they box up the odds and ends for a super deal! Young people who are in need of extras for their home may find the last hours of the auction advantages'!

I didn't expect much from it - they are my personal belongings and mostly mean something only to me. But Sunset Auction never contacts me, continues to say a check is in the mail and otherwise mislead me. I am very disappointed in Sunset Auction and wouldn't recommend them to anyone at any price. I don't have the words that are strong enough to convey my displeasure with this place.
