Like any antique mall, it's a jumble of stalls run by individual sellers, so the selection and pricing varies. Quite a few of them are the "shabby chic" kind of stall, with a few artfully arranged baskets of shells and glass fishing floats and not much else. But enough of the stalls are the real deal, crammed with rusty old tools and medicine bottles and teacups. I'm usually looking for minerals, bones and skulls, Pyrex and old medicine bottles, and I didn't find much of that here. The few antlers they had seemed overpriced. But the mall is clean, spacious and well-maintained and the people at the register are friendly. Overall, a nice enough antique mall that won't take you too long to go through. Worth a visit if you're in Monroe.

Yes, it's super packed and some aisles were blocked but it also felt like a treasure hunt. Who knows what you will discover that somebody else who came through before you didn't notice. Fun! The owner and her daughter were super nice and offered to help us several times. The pictures I posted were from the upstairs barn area and outdoor carport. I didn't take any pictures of the main antique store but it was packed full of antique household items. I came away with two martini glasses that I can't wait to use. I hope to return sometime soon and I will take photos of the main antique store and post pictures then.

You see, Doug is this guy who works here, hounding customers upstairs. I've been there when he has asked me no fewer than eight times if I'm "okay." Yes, I'm sure he thinks I'm there to steal things. No, I'm not there to steal things. Never have been, never will. Zero record of any kind, in fact. The effect of Doug's shrinkage reduction tactics is to prevent me from *buying* anything. I have many antique-loving and vintage-loving friends who also despise the hounding tactics and no longer shop here as a result. I recommend trying Star Center Antique Mall instead. No hounding there.
