This year, their summer art events are "Art of the Garden" at the main gallery and "Cambium Layers II" at the mezzanine gallery. They have events throughout the year, rotating in special exhibits, classes, summer camps, and more. I chatted with the staff working there, and they are always very personable. While the Fresh Paint art festival is relatively modest with the length of two city blocks, the exhibit inside the center makes the drive worthwhile. If I was more of an art creator, I would definitely look into their classes. They have an impressive array from ceramics and clay to digital to glass, and classics like painting, sculpture, and woodcarving. The facility looks new and is very clean. I would recommend them both to shop for art (at front gift shop or during an exhibit period) and for their classes.

Everything in the shop is very original and makes a magnificent gift that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Since I went there the first time, I have stopped by whenever I'm in town. For the Everett Art Walk, the owner, Tami Walker, had a fondue fountain and many things to dip in. There was also an adorable folksy band playing. Everyone had a great time. This is more than just a store, it's an experience every time you enter. One of my favorite places in Washington.

A variety of intriguing handmade etsy-style necklaces, paintings, and art pieces decorate the windows and interior and seem to be adding some much-needed excitement to Everett.

Upon entering I was greeted by a friendly employee, and when I told her I was new to the hobby she took her time explaining different types of glass, showing me a grinder and giving me some advice about choosing glass for my budget and skill level. She left me to browse but came back to check on me, which I found very thoughtful. I really appreciate that Covenant has a "small projects" section with smaller pieces of glass- perfect for getting a good variety without breaking the bank. A different employee rang up my purchase and was also extremely helpful, friendly, and encouraging. The atmosphere at Covenant was very peaceful and it made me feel at ease. I will definitely be back to buy more glass (and maybe take a class!) at Covenant.

That made me appreciate woodworking as a art and hobby which do nice to see a Gallery in downtown Everett so everyone can appreciate and buy hand crafted wood works.
