I paid for the program for the year and loaded up with food and the starter kit. Over $1,000 later I left with a bag full of processed food, a ton a new restrictions and very little guidance. I was faithful to the program and did loose weight, but don't let their marketing fool you this is diet culture in green packaging. The program is restrictive. If you go off plan at all, even a little bit you are more than likely not going to loose weight. I don't know how anyone can maintain being hungry for that long. I faithfully attended the weekly meetings. When struggling I was often meet with "have you looked in the guide?". If all the information I would possibly need was in the paper guide why would I need to pay to attend a weekly meeting? I understand the workers/coaches aren't therapists, but food can often be tied to deeper issues that an unhealthy eating habits. When I brought up one of these deeper rooted issues I was told point blank "well do you want to loose weight or not?" and my issue was brushed off. Most of the other coaches I worked with talked positively about their eating habits; which with more reflection are disordered eating habits. I finally quit the program after having gained weight and their recommendation was that I just needed to buy more food. I didn't schedule another meeting and they never called me to keep going with the program. They sure did contact me to sell me on a new program though. Meeting with a nutritionist through my doctor has proven to be cheaper and more effective.

Well they have decided to not reopen the locations and continue with an online phone based support system and NOT refund any of the $$ customer's paid. This is the worst customer experience I can imagine. I'm actually thinking about reaching out to my attorney. $650 isn't easy to come by for me. I had to save several paychecks in order to get into the program. Extremely frustrated and disappointed in SlimGenics as I have used them before, years and years ago. DO NOT GO HERE. The whole place seems isolated, almost Twilight Zone style. It's so modern you can smell the sterile atmosphere. There is a waiting area but no coffee or snack area for anyone waiting for you. It's like they check you in and whisk you right in which I love. Everyone knows how I hate waiting for anything. this all started at 6AM. After a nurse did the basic prep and questions, she got Dr. Ness, anesthesiologist. He's known for finding veins that don't want to be found. He told me the the kind of surgery bed I'd be on is narrow and oddly hard. I told him I love hard beds and it would be fine with me. Then Dr. Camp comes in and I get a big smile on my face. I've been waiting for this breast lift surgery for a month. I was there for several hours and he was so pleased with the outcome. I spoke to the scheduler Dawn on the phone a couple of days before. Lots of questions and strict instructions. There is a weight loss center here and I wasn't sure I was at the right building when we did a run through the day before. But it's the only building there is on this block. I loved this experience cause I hate huge hospitals and everywhere you need to be is right there when you arrive. There is another surgery center nearby so double check that you're going to the right one. This is the Bhatti building. Since the beginning of the year it's a toss up if I've been to more medical facilities than restaurants.
