I brought my 2019 Pathfinder in to have the windows tinted, 3m ceramic tint all the windows, windshield included. When I picked up the car the windshield was ugly and messy right where the mirror is, all those black dots, I guess the tint couldn't be applied evenly. Some spots where perfect and others were not, so I brought it to the girls attention and she assured me that it would clear up and that it was just because it wasn't a hot day. That in the summer it would have cleared right up. That was in November of 2019 I was about 6 months pregnant and commuting to work fulltime so I didn't have a chance to come back in. Needless to say it never cleared up. Then covid hits, everything gets shut down, I'm working from home with a new baby and 4 kids distance learning. I dont even have time to check if this place is open during the shut down, not to mention at the time covid being so new and every where of course I had no desire to take my infant any where or have any one inside my car. After all I did purchase the 3m ceramic tint with the lifetime warranty. So I figured everything would be okay. But of course. It wasn't okay. When I finally brought it I was asked. Why did I wait so long, why didn't I bring it up, and then told that this was normal and that it would not be covered by the warranty. Go figure. They did offer to take it off and refund me for the windshield after I continued to press the issue. Or to cut out the tint around the mirror. When I asked if they could just reapply it they said no, that they would not take it on and off a hundred times and hope it comes out right. I wasn't asking for a hundred times, just once, maybe something went wrong when applying it the first time. Maybe this time would have come out nicer. It wasn't cheap to pay for this tint and I see cars all over the road and their tint doesn't have this look so I have to believe it is possible to apply the tint and it not come out so smudged looking. The 3m tint is great it does the job of keeping the car cool, I did not want to just take it off, although thinking about it now, maybe I should have just taken the refund and gone somewhere else to have it done again. I spent a lot of time researching companies before coming here for my tint. They have great reviews so I felt this would be a good choice. I understand that it seems that I waited a long time. But I was reassured it wouldn't stay like that and last year was a year like no other before it. So in the future I will take my business elsewhere. I was looking for the ABSOLUTE BEST window tinting film made and after through research I discovered it was 3M Crystalline film. The catch is... 3M only allows their best rated dealers to install this stuff. Quality Auto Glass Window Tint was the closest dealer to me. I called and got some pricing and nearly had a heart attack. I knew it was going to be pricy... but damn. I called a few other dealers that were within a reasonable distance. They were all higher.... so I with with Quality. They got me in and out quicker than they had estimated. They were able to deal with my nitpicking micromanagement without obvious resentment. The tint came out clean and the heat rejection is AMAZING. I've taken my husbands car in and they did a great job on that one as well, with 3M Color Stable. I also brought a friend who got the Crystalline all around and is beyond happy with it. He did not want the dark look so the 70% worked perfect. Changing cars wasn't my idea but returning here for the tint was. They did a great job on my VW Golf TDI and I hoped that they would do just as well with the Hyundai Accent GS. The manager remembered me, even though I'd only been there two or three times previously. The price was very good, especially knowing the quality. Supposedly, 3M film is quite common now, but I've seen cars with purple, bubbled film and didn't consider changing to their other brand, LLumar, I think it is. I'm not saying that Llumar does that. I was happy with a brand that worked previously. I was surprised when he said that they could do it first thing Saturday morning--Christmas Eve morning--when a lot of people would be trying to finish their Christmas preparations. It was a very chilly morning but they started on it right away, along with another car. They didn't take very long at all, and it looks incredibly good. The only surprise was that this 20% film looks less intense than the 20% film on the VW Golf TDI. I'm guessing someone put 5% on that car by mistake. It looked awesome, though. read more

Update: 1/25/21 Twelve days later, I FINALLY got my car back from being worked on after having my windows tinted. I made an appointment at the dealership the following day to have my car looked at for the malfunction lights that came on, but that morning my car would not turn on at all. I ended up having to call a tow truck to come and tow it from my house to the dealership. I contacted the tint shop, and after a couple days I was able to get in touch with the owner Robert, who stated that the tint shop would assume responsibility for the issues caused to my car once the dealership officially identified what caused the problem. The dealership contacted me later in the week to confirm that the damage was indeed caused during the window tinting procedure. It was determined that excessive water got in through the dashboard to the car's electrical system and corroded a wiring harness. I was without my car and in a rental for almost two weeks. It was a huge inconvenience and a big disappointment to be without my just-purchased new car for so long, but despite the negative experience, in the end the owner of Quality Auto Glass made sure that I was compensated for everything. So I have updated my review to 4 stars to reflect the responsible customer service on his part. However, I believe that the technicians placing the films here need to have advanced training and take enhanced precautions when working on cars with electrical components to avoid this happening again in the future. Also, potential customers need to be warned/informed that problems like this are a possibility so that they can make better informed decisions. Had I known, I probably would not have opted to do the windshield. As far as the actual tint placed on my car, the bubbles on the side windows have resolved, but there are still some large bubbles and defected areas on the front windshield, and the front passenger window has a "3M" watermark/logo that was left behind. I don't think that is supposed to be there (Pics included below). Robert did offer to fix any issues remaining with the tint, however as I discussed with him, I personally would prefer not to take my car back again after this ordeal. read more
