Quality Automotive has just become our new #1 for our automotive needs. I took my Scion in to Quality Automotive yesterday to get the radiator and transmission flushed. Luis was able to get my car in pretty quickly and begin servicing. Just as he was finishing up the job, he took a look around the underside of the vehicle while it was still up on the rack. He noticed that I had a dangerously bad wheel hub on the rear passenger side. Luis called me up and notified me of his findings. He explained what had happened with the hub in layman's terms and offered to fix it right on the spot. Luis gave me a discount on the hub which was a part that was over $300 by itself and a one year warranty to boot. If this sounds fishy to you, I HAD BEEN HEARING A LOUD WOBBLING NOISE FOR THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS. I thought I had maybe bought bad set of tires that were imbalanced. Quality automotive was recommended to me by Valley Brake and Tire. Both firms performed excellent service at reasonable prices. Valley Brake and Tire replaced the brake pads on my 2004 Lexus Sportcross at 170,000 miles. Quality Automotive replaced the spark plugs, fan belt, timing belt, radiator hoses, coolant, transmission fluid, and associated filters. The car now thinks it is new! Good customer service really friendly and honest . Ended up paying $275 for both repairs that they did which was $30 less than what they had said over the phone. I had originally taken my car to the Ford dealership for problems with the fuse box and they said I would have to replace the whole box and it was going to cost $800 for parts and labor. I ended up bring my car here for shaking I was feeling in the car and let them know what ford told me and asked if he could also look into the fuse box he called me about 2 hours after I dropped the car off and said that all that was wrong with the fuse box was one wire was not working and would only cost me $25 to replace. So I am really thankful that they are honest here because they saved over $700 that I was going to borrow for the repairs. So if you're looking for a good place to get some repairs done and for a good price I highly recommend this place I am definitely going back when my car needs work done. read more

I was visiting family in Visalia in July and our A/C went out. My brother-in-law recommended Quality. I came in first thing in the morning without an appointment and they were busy. Luis fit me in. He diagnosed my car, it was a bad condenser. Luis ordered the parts and had it ready to go by 4:30 pm the same day. He and his office assistant were very helpful and pleasant. Luis showed me the faulty part when I went in and explained why he had to replace it. After a 4.5 hour drive home that included being stuck in slow moving traffic for about 45 minutes we were very thankful to have a working A/C. Quality Automotive had some good reviews so I figured I'd give them a shot. Was really impressed with their service and prices. Luis was awesome. He takes the time to explain what needs doing, why it needs doing, and doesn't try to up sell you on anything. Prices were very reasonable. I'm a "back yard" mechanic myself so I was on the look out for some B.S. that I needed this or that. It never happened. The work got done. The price was reasonable. Luis even stayed late to finish my truck because he gave his word that he'd have it done on a certain day. Holy shit. There is an honest mechanic in Visalia. I love this place, extremely honest, and compassionate people, I went in cause my truck was leaking water somewhere underneath, I had no idea where to go, since I just moved out here a few months ago, i looked around, called a couple of people, they just wanted me to leave my truck there,, and when they got time, they would get to it, I couldn't, cause I had no ride home,and I needed my truck I looked around on reviews, saw Quality auto repair, great reviews, so I called and made a appointment, i could tell they were honest from the beginning, since the man named Isaias that answered the phone, told me it could be something simple, a hose or gasket, most always, I am told something big, like a radiator, or some big job,I took it in, and the people were so considerate and kind, it was a hot day, the owner Luis brought a fan in, Isaias,came in, and told me my radiator, and water pump needed to be replaced which I had a good idea, they were bad, cause I had been losing a lot of antifreeze, for a while.and hadn't replaced either of them, Radiator, or water pump in the 147.000 miles I had on my truck,my heart dropped knowing the price would be very high, as i was always ripped off by mechanics in the past being a woman, I was quoted a price, that was more then fair,I was so happy! and even offered a ride home,the work was done exactly the time they told me, the same day.and even was picked up and given a ride back,I was able to meet Giea, Luis wife, who runs the Office, she was very sweet and patient,Isaias did a fabulous job!
